Navy Tee And Leopard Print Skirt Office Outfits

I have been loving leopard lately, and so I got my leopard print skirts out again for some summer office days. Both of these leopard skirts I paired with navy tees, comfortable Converse and my Louis Vuitton Neverfull tote bag.

Why I wore it:

I decided to wear this navy frill sleeve tee with the leopard print skirt, the navy is a great neutral against the print and surprisingly I hadn't worn navy with this skirt yet. And to showcase the pretty frill sleeve detail on the tee, I didn't add a blazer. Without a blazer, I did try dress this up a little more for the office with the big statement necklace. This gold multi-strand necklace was an opshop find, just like the skirt.

Comfortable Converse for the commute and walking around the office, and my big Louis Vuitton neverfull tote for carrying a few extra things along with my essentials for work. As it was back in December that I wore this, I did a little Christmas shopping in my lunch break!

Why I wore it:

Unlike the outfit above, I decided to add a blazer with this. I felt that even with the big statement necklace, this shorter leopard print skirt and navy tee was a little too casual for the day I had ahead of me in the office, so it needed the blush blazer. I really like blue and pink together and this blush pink works well with the navy tee and the turquoise multi-strand necklace.

I'm always a little sad the cute lurex detail thread on this tee never shows up in photos - it makes it feel so special when you see it in person! Again I went with Converse, blue ones this time to coordinate with the beaded necklace. And while I didn't need to carry too many extra things with me on this day I wore my Louis Vuitton Neverfull again as it's a good office bag!

Red and Green Christmas Outfits

A final two festive Christmas outfits to share. While both of these are quite different they both feature red and green that I picked to try and make my outfits a little festive for December, which is when I wore them. My previous post has what I wore for Christmas day.

Why I wore it:

I knew this Kmart broderie anglaise midi skirt would be perfect for the White Christmas night at the MovieWorld theme park when I spotted it, so it was good mum got me this for Christmas and I was able to wear it a little early. It works so well with the festive reindeer tee mum made me a few years back, and was cool and comfortable for a humid evening at the theme park. We had a lot of fun, enjoying the 'snow' falling, going on the rides, and watching the 4D Polar Express Movie before finishing the night with the parade and ice cream. We were able to stay at my parents after so it wasn't such a long drive home as well which was appreciated.

While I knew this would be great for the event I also ran a few errands in it in the morning, it didn't seem to costume-y for that. I really liked the little red bag against the green of the midi skirt, especially with the little green and red bracelets.

The studded sandals were a good neutral and nice and practical for both errand running in the morning and walking around the theme park in the evening.

Why I wore it:

This was another red and green outfit, although not as obviously festive as the one above. I had to go into the office, so I got this pretty coral wrap dress out again. It's so cute with the white Converse and such a good option for work. I added the gold bauble earrings and the little green bag to make this slightly more Christmassy.

After work I took some Christmas photos with the kids around Brisbane - there were a bunch of Christmas decorations set up around Queen Street and with the boys in their Christmas tees and me in my little red dress we were suitably attired for some family pics.

Tiered Midi Dresses, Blue Converse and Rebeca Minkoff Edie Shoulder Bag

Before the Christmas break, I wore these two pretty tiered midi dresses with some blue accessories for days in the office. Despite the very different colours of both dresses, they are accessorised with the same blue Converse and Luna Blue Rebecca Minkoff Edie bag, as the shades of blue work so well with both pink and orange.

Why I wore it:

I really like wearing this pink dress with blue accessories! Both the slate blue of the Rebecca Minkoff Edie shoulder bag and the lighter blue of the Converse work really well with the bright fuchsia pink of the midi dress. It's one of my favourites!

I added the silver and turquoise bracelet stack for another little touch of blue with this, and then the silver circle necklace as it matches so nicely with the silver hardware on the Edie shoulder bag.

Another Kmart tiered midi dress! This was the first one I got, that kick started my collection 😅 Just like the bold fuchsia pink above, the amber orange of this midi dress works so well with blue. So much so that I wore the exact bag and shoe combination with this dress as well! Despite being different shades of blue, the converse and the Luna blue Edie bag are lovely together.

Just like in the first outfit, I added a little extra blue with this gold and blue statement necklace. Nice easy outfit for another day in the office.

Navy Tops, Orange Skirts and Red Bag Outfits

Two different orange skirt outfits, both featuring a little red bag and a navy tank.

Why I wore it:

Wore this for the first official day of my summer leave. Celebrated by taking the kids along to a cookie decorating class - they had a bunch of fun, and I had a good time chatting to my friend as our kids enjoyed their cookie playdate! Also ran a few errands picking up a couple last minute gifts, as this was back earlier in December.

I really like navy and orange together, so was eager to try this navy tank with the rust button up skirt. I really liked the combination! The Converse were a practical choice for a bit of driving around, and I thought the little red bag would be a fun pop against the rust skirt. I have been wearing this bag a lot lately! I really liked this outfit.

Why I wore it:

This outfit is very similar to the one above, but I didn't love it quite as much. Still a fun combination of that navy, orange and red trio though.

Again it was a simple navy tank with an orange skirt, this lovely thrifted maxi skirt that is super light for hot days, which this day certainly was! I had the little red bag from the night before, when we had gone out to White Christmas event at MovieWorld, as we stayed overnight at my parents on the coast instead of driving back home. I thought it would be fun with the little red bag and orange skirt, and since we had been at a Christmas event the night before, a little red and green necklace for a festive touch. The neutral studded sandals were what I'd worn the night before too, to keep packing light.

We unfortunately had to leave early in the morning, having to get back home for a playdate, so we didn't stay at my parents long.

Wore both of these outfits back in December before finishing up work for the Christmas holidays. Both are simple tee and midi skirt outfits, with a bit of red and green for some December festivity.

Why I wore it:

Red and leopard together is always a winner! I liked this coral tee with the green accessories too, with both the beaded necklace and the little green Rebecca Minkoff mini 5-zip bag, it was perfectly festive for Christmas without feeling like too much. It was pretty quiet in the office, with lots of leave starting already, so this was nice and comfortable for a day at my desk. This midi skirt has become a frequent go-to for me for work after I thrifted it back in October. Pre-pandemic I would have thought it a little too casual for the office, but my already business casual office culture has become even more relaxed since we started popping back into the office again.

Did think of trying to dress this up a little with ballet flats rather than Converse, but again went for comfort with the Converse.

Why I wore it:

This was my last day in the office and last day at work for the year before starting my summer break so I just had to wear this pretty broderie anglaise midi skirt. Mum got it for me for Christmas on our annual pre-Christmas shopping trip but I wanted to start wearing it early - I knew it would be great for this last day at work for the year, and I wore it to the White Christmas night at Movieworld too. I'm excited to wear this outside of December and make it work year-round, but for this outfit I leaned into it and added some red accessories to make it more festive.

While the little red studded saddle bag and the red multi strand statement necklace and red bracelet stack are different shades of red, I think they worked well together and of course the black tee goes with everything. I did add a little extra matchy-matchy by wearing my black converse with this too.

To make things even more festive, I walked around the office in a Santa hat as well!

Black Tees and Printed Culotte Shorts With Green Mini 5-Zip Bag

The best thing about printed shorts is that they are so easy to wear with a plain black tee! So good I wore the combination twice, just with different tees and shorts each time.

Such an easy outfit for a summer school run and working from home day with this plain black tee and the cute pastel print thrifted culotte shorts. They are so comfortable in the humidity! Stuck with my Havaianas as it was too hot for closed in shoes, and this cute little green crossbody bag as I didn't need to carry much with me.

Although the green in the print of the shorts is more of a pastel green, I really liked the darker green of the mini 5-zip bag with this.

Again I went for the failsafe shorts and tee outfit, just like the one above with this black tee and navy printed culotte shorts. I added a couple different shades of green to this with the beaded necklace and the dark green mini 5-zip bag, even though there is no green in the print of the shorts I think the accessories worked well with this. Black and navy always work together, as does blue and green.

Tiered Sundresses and Red Rebecca Minkoff Studded Saddle Bag

Hope you had a lovely Christmas! We thankfully were safe from any major damage from the storms.

Today, sharing more of my tiered printed sundress outfits again. for some very hot summer days in Brisbane! I added a little red to both of these with my Rebecca Minkoff Studded Saddle bag, that I have been wearing so much recently.

What I wore:

Why I wore it:

I really like this navy and blush print Kmart sundress, it was a Kmart clearance find years ago, for just $2! I decided to try it with a little bit of red to brighten it up even more, for a day with the school run, working from home, and errands after school pick up. I matched the red saddle bag with my little red dino skeleton earrings and a little red beaded bracelet. Even though they are all different shades of red, I liked the additions, especially with the blue background of the dress.

My navy and pink Havaianas match the print of this dress so well, and they were the best choice for such a hot and humid day!

Why I wore it:

This was a very, very humid day! My sister was over and we spent the morning finishing off our Christmas shopping, before heading out to the church Christmas festival and carols in the afternoon. This relaxed tiered sundress was the perfect light dress to wear, although I did get a little sunburnt from lack of shoulder coverage at the festival in the afternoon.

With the pretty orange pastel palm print on the dress, I thought this red saddle bag would be a good combination. And as it was a Christmas event I added the gold bauble earrings and a tiny amount of green with this fun multi coloured beaded necklace.

Picked my comfortable sneakers as there was a lot of walking around to do at the shops and then later at the event, checking out all the stalls and going on a few of the rides with the kids.

Tiered Dresses and Burgundy Bag With Converse

Sticking with simple outfits for hot summer days, accessorising these two tiered sundresses with my little burgundy Rebecca Minkoff Avery crossbody bag and white Converse.

Just needed an easy outfit for a weekend playdate - this little black tiered sundress was perfect! With the neutral necklace and white Converse, I wanted to add a little more colour, and the burgundy Rebecca Minkoff Avery crossbody was a nice way to do that without being too bright.

I've worn the bag and dress together before, I really like the combination.

Unlike the outfit above, this is trying a few new things, with the print mixing with the palm print dress and tie dye cover up, and burgundy and orange combination with the Rebecca Minkoff Avery crossbody bag. Again went with the classic neutral white Converse sneakers.

I had the school run as well as working from home, and then a playdate in the park in the afternoon. I knew I'd need a cover up to protect my shoulders from the sun and this one is nice and light. I thought it was an interesting combination with the orange palm print dress and although I don't think I'll be rushing to try this pairing again it was good to try something different.

Two outfits using the same tried and true outfit formula, with some new pieces I recently scored at the opshop. Colourful shorts, white tees and little crossbody bags with these printed cover ups I thrifted for just $1 each!

I like pink and leopard print together, so I added a couple different shades of pink in this outfit to complement the printed cover up! These pastel pink shorts haven't been worn in a while, and with the white tee and neutral leopard print cover up it needed just a little extra colour. The Rebecca Minkoff Jean MAC crossbody bag in fig pink was a good way to add more colour. even thought the shades of pink are different, blush goes with everything really!

Wore this for a simple working from home day, with the school run and a playdate in the park after school.

I liked the bolder colours in this outfit, it was a little more matchy-matchy with the dark floral print matching the red of the denim shorts and the burgundy crossbody bag. And of course plain white tees go with everything! Even added a black chain necklace to match the black background of the floral cover up.

Wore my white Converse again - it was another hot weekend and we had a bunch of errands to run. Converse are good for a lot of driving around.
