Two Ways To Wear: Long Leopard Print Cardigan

I thrifted this long leopard print cardigan last month, and like everything I add to my wardrobe, I set myself the goal of wearing twice in the month I bought it, to make sure it works with my lifestyle. Here are two of the first ways I've worn this awesome leopard print cardigan back in July.

What I wore:

Jacket: thrifted Dotti leopard print long cardigan
Necklace: thrifted pastel pink and wooden hexagon bead necklace
Dress: thrifted Kmart tiered little black dress
ShoesAsos Cleo leather boots in tan
BagRebecca Minkoff Jean MAC bag in fig

Why I wore it:

This dress is another recent opshop find, I thrifted it and the cardigan together, and I knew they would make a great combination. Just like last time I wore this dress, I found it stuck to the leggings a bit. I am looking forward to warmer spring weather arriving in Brisbane soon, and counting down the days until the end of winter! Leggings aside, I really liked this outfit! I was working from home as I had an appointment and a couple of extra errands to run in the afternoon before school pick up.

This leopard print cardigan and the tall tan boots kept me cosy. I really liked the pink accessories with this too, it's been a while since I've worn this Rebecca Minkoff Jean MAC crossbody bag so it was overdue another wear.

Last worn: leopard print cardigangeometric bead necklace, black dress, tan boots, Rebecca Minkoff Jean MAC crossbody bag.

Other ways to wear: leopard print cardigan and jeansblack dress and denim jacket, tan boots and jeans, Rebecca Minkoff Jean MAC crossbody bag with florals.

What I wore:

Jacket: thrifted Dotti leopard print long cardigan
NecklaceRoie Designs feather, quartz and love charm long necklace
Tee: thrifted Target cotton and modal relaxed red tee
Jeans: Jeanswest black skinny jeans with zipper detail
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
Bagthrifted Rebecca Minkoff vintage Cupid satchel in dark navy blue

Why I wore it:

This was another working from home day, with the school pick up and then sports in the evening. I needed to be warm for the evening but comfortable during the day, so I layered up my go-to jeans and tee working from home outfit with this leopard print cardigan. I liked the extra print it added to this outfit, and it was nice and cosy for the evening as well, although I did have to add a scarf then. With the black skinny jeans and black Converse, I went with the dark Rebecca Minkoff Cupid bag. It's also an opshop find, and is just a really deep navy.

With all the neutrals, I felt the red tee was the perfect touch of colour with this.

Last worn: leopard print cardigan (above), feather necklace, red tee, skinny jeans, black Converse, Rebecca Minkoff Cupid bag.

Other ways to wear: leopard print cardigan and pinkred tee and skirt, skinny jeans and graphic teeblack Converse and skirt, Rebecca Minkoff Cupid bag and dress.

Striped Tees, Maxi Skirts and Leather Jacket With Chloe Bags

Two maxi skirts and stripe tee outfits, layered up for Brisbane's winter with my Jeanswest black leather jacket. Nice and cosy for some working from home days.

What I wore:

JacketJeanswest black leather moto jacket
Earrings: Colette white pearl beaded gum leaf tassel earrings
Necklace: handmade yellow and white polymer clay beaded necklace
Teethrifted Mossimo black and white striped v-neck tee
Skirtthrifted Tree of Life ochre maxi skirt
ShoesAdidas Superstar sneakers
BagChloe small Ethel bag in light khaki

Why I wore it:

I really like the yellow beaded necklace worn with this ochre maxi skirt! I like the colour it added to this darker outfit, with the black leather jacket and the black and white striped tee. I added a little more lightness with the Chloe Ethel bag too, I needed a big bag despite working from home, as I carried a book for an appointment in the morning, after the school run.

It's not the first time I've worn this orange maxi skirt with a striped tee, I like the combination. So much so that I repeated it again a week or so later.

Last worn: Jeanswest leather jacket, gum leaf earrings, black striped tee, orange maxi skirt, Adidas Superstar sneakers, Chloe Ethel bag. First time I've worn the necklace as I recently made it.

Other ways to wearJeanswest leather jacket and dressblack striped tee and jeans, orange maxi skirt and jumper, Adidas Superstar sneakers and jeans, Chloe Ethel bag and pencil skirt.

What I wore:

JacketJeanswest black leather moto jacket
NecklaceZuriCollections blue polymer clay necklace
TeeCotton On The One fitted v tee in eddy stripe white / red terracotta
Skirt: thrifted Crossroads black ruffle hem maxi skirt
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star in hot tea
BagChloe small Paraty bag in wine purple

Why I wore it:

Another working from home day, in another stripe tee and maxi skirt outfit. With the black Jeanswest leather jacket again, this time matching with the black maxi skirt. Like the maxi skirt above, this one was an opshop find and I really enjoy wearing it! I wore the comfortable Converse as I had a bit of running around to do with the school run in the morning and afternoon. I thought that this rust striped tee was due another wear, and I like the little touch of colour with all the black.

The wine purple Chloe Paraty bag isn't a match with the rust stripes on the tee, but I thought the colours looked nice together, especially with all the black in-between.

Last worn: Jeanswest leather jacket (above), blue beaded necklace, rust stripe tee, black maxi skirt, brown Converse, Chloe wine purple Paraty bag.

Other ways to wearJeanswest leather jacket and dress, rust stripe tee and blazer, black maxi skirt and denim jacket, brown Converse and jeans, Chloe wine purple Paraty bag and dress.

Leopard Print Cardigans, Pink Tees and Jeans

Two similar outfits, with thrifted leopard print cardigans, pink tees, black skinny jeans and Converse for some recent working from home days.

What I wore:

Jacket: thrifted Dotti leopard print long cardigan (new purchase)
Earrings: gold heart and pearl earrings
Necklace: handmade purple polymer clay beaded necklace
TeeCle The Label Charlotte tee in ombre rose
Jeans: Jeanswest black skinny jeans with zipper detail
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star in pink foam
BagMIMCO Mim-Mazing crossbody bag in black and light gold

Why I wore it:

First time I've worn this cardigan on the blog. it was a very lucky opshop find! I'm always on the hunt for cute cardigans and I've been really lucky recently with finding them! This one is a nice addition to my wardrobe, and I like pink and leopard print together so this ombre pink tee seemed like an obvious choice. I went matchy-matchy with the pink Converse, although it's a different shade of pink from the tee I liked the two pinks together, and I added the purple necklace for a little more colour.

Nice casual outfit for a vet appointment, the school run, and working from home.

Last worn: pearl earringsombre pink tee, black skinny jeans, pink Converse, Mimco Mim-Mazing crossbody bag. First time I've worn the cardigan as it's a recent opshop purchase, and first time I've worn the necklace as I recently made it.

Other ways to wear: ombre pink tee and shorts, black skinny jeans and graphic tee, pink Converse and dress, Mimco Mim-Mazing crossbody bag and skirt.

What I wore:

Jacket: thrifted no label black and white leopard print cocoon cardigan
Necklace: thrifted wood and marble bead thrifted necklace with white string
Tee: Kmart short sleeve cotton modal tee in tulip pink
Jeans: thrifted Jeanswest faded black cropped butt lifter jeans
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
Bracelets: the usual
Bagthrifted Rebecca Minkoff vintage Cupid satchel in dark navy blue

Why I wore it:

Since I liked the outfit above so much, I repeated the formula again with different pieces. I wore black Converse this time, matching the black skinny jeans and the black background on this black and white leopard print cardigan. like the cardigan in the first outfit, this was also an opshop find! It's nice to have some printed cardigans to add a little extra interest to block colour tees like this pink one in winter. Again I went with a darker bag, this Rebecca Minkoff Cupid bag. I was working from home, did the school run, and also had a physio appointment, so this Cupid bag was perfect for fitting all my essentials plus my latest library read.

Red Maxi Skirt and Tee Outfits With Chloe Ethel Bag

Two colourful maxi skirt and tee outfits with leather jackets for some working from home days with appointments to attend. I like wearing maxi skirts in warmer weather, but also enjoy layering them up for winter.

What I wore:

JacketWitchery black belted moto leather jacket
Earrings: Piper gold heart earrings
Necklace: handmade tan and orange polymer clay beaded necklace
Tee: thrifted Target cotton and modal relaxed red tee
Skirtno label cream and brown floral print midi skirt
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star in hot tea
BagChloe small Ethel bag in light khaki

Why I wore it:

I've been wearing a lot of jeans lately so I decided to pull out some of my maxi skirts! This one is so good to wear with plain tees like this recently thrifted red one. I really like the print with block colour tees, although this is the first time I've worn it with red.

Added the brown and khaki Chloe Ethel bag as I felt it complimented the colours in the print of the skirt well, and because it fit all my essentials plus my latest library book read for waiting for a dentist appointment after work and school pickup. As it was a cold winter day, I layered up with the Witchery leather jacket to keep warm.

Last worn: stud earrings, Witchery leather jacket, printed maxi skirt, brown Converse, Chloe Ethel bag. First time I've worn the necklace as I recently made it, and first time I've worn the tee as it was a recent opshop buy.

Other ways to wearWitchery leather jacket and dress, printed maxi skirt and cami, brown Converse and dress, Chloe Ethel bag and jeans

What I wore:

JacketJeanswest black leather moto jacket
Necklace: adjustable coral flat bead necklace
Tee: thrifted Country Road grey crew neck tee
Skirt: thrifted NWT Beginning Boutique Sahara red-orange maxi skirt
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in white
Bracelets: the usual
BagChloe small Ethel bag in light khaki

Why I wore it:

Another appointment during the day while working from home - physio this time - meant I wore my Chloe Ethel bag again to fit in another book. This outfit is similar to the one above as it's the same bag, a maxi skirt and tee, with a lot of red, but it's got a grey tee instead and an unprinted red maxi skirt. Both the maxi skirt and the grey tee are opshop finds, and I liked wearing them together. As in the outfit above, I needed a little extra warmth so I wore this black Jeanswest leather jacket.

While the coral necklace is a more orange shade than the bright coral red of the maxi skirt, I liked the two paired together, especially against the neutral grey tee.

Last worn: black leather jacket, grey tee, coral necklace, red tiered maxi skirt, white Converse, Chloe Ethel bag (above).

Other ways to wearblack leather jacket and jeans, grey tee with blue skirt, red tiered maxi skirt at Christmaswhite Converse and dress, Chloe Ethel bag and shorts.

Black Cardigans, Striped Tees, Black Jeans and Converse

Two simple striped tee and black skinny jeans outfits with black cardigans, for winter working from home days with the school run and physio appointments.

What I wore:

Jacket: thrifted Dotti black cocoon cape cardigan
Teethrifted navy stripe Coca-Cola logo tee
Jeans: Jeanswest black skinny jeans with zipper detail
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: thrifted Marc by Marc Jacobs Dr Q Convertible clutch in electric violet

Why I wore it:

Felt like it was time to get this bag out again! I thrifted it a while back, and bought the metallic chain strap on ebay separately so I could wear it crossbody. It's very smooshy and much bigger than you'd think in photos! It fit all my essentials plus my latest library book, so I could read while waiting at the physio appointment and then later at the vet appointment.

Jeans and tee will always be a working from home staple for me in the cooler weather, especially when paired with a cosy cardigan like this black cocoon one. Like the tee, jeans and bag, the cardigan was an opshop find too, so this is an almost entirely thrifted outfit!

Last worn: black cocoon cardigan, Coca-Cola stripe logo tee, black skinny jeans, black Converse, Marc by Marc Jacobs convertible clutch bag.

Other ways to wearblack cocoon cardigan with pink, Coca-Cola stripe logo tee, black skinny jeans and animal print, black Converse and dress, Marc by Marc Jacobs convertible clutch bag and skirt.

What I wore:

JacketCotton On black knit wrap cardigan
ScarfThe Quintessential Cambridge Willow green floral snood
TeeCotton On "The One" fitted v tee in Cole stripe white moonlight
Jeans: thrifted Jeanswest faded black cropped butt lifter jeans
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star in hot tea
BagChloe small Ethel bag in light khaki

Why I wore it:

This was a colder day than the one above so I pulled out this thicker knit cardigan, it's an old one I've had in my wardrobe for years, since my uni days even! I don't wear it a lot over winter, just on very cold days, so it's stuck around for such a long time!

With the black jeans long black belted cardigan and the navy and white striped tee I felt this neutral outfit needed a little extra colour. The brown Converse were an attempt to be matchy-matchy with the Chloe Ethel bag, even though the shades of brown are slightly different.

I added this green printed snood (infinity scarf) for a little extra colour as well, although I ended up taking it off after the school run as I was warm enough in the black cardigan.

Last worn: black belted cardigan, navy and white striped tee, green snood, black skinny jeans, brown Converse, Chloe Ethel bag.

Other ways to wearblack belted cardigan and dress, navy and white striped tee shorts, green snood, black skinny jeans and blazer, brown Converse and dress, Chloe Ethel bag and skirt.

Green and Grey Jeans and Tee Outfits With Rebecca Minkoff Knit Ruana Poncho

Keeping warm in Brisbane's winter weather by layering up my working from home jeans and tee outfits with this cosy black and white Rebecca Minkoff Ruana. I've been wearing it a lot recently.

What I wore:

JacketRebecca Minkoff Ruana poncho
EarringsMichael Hill stud earrings with aqua cubic zirconia in sterling silver
Necklace: thrifted blue knotted beaded necklace
Tee: grey marle pocket tee
Jeans: thrifted ASOS petite green skinny jeans
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star coast blue
Bracelets: the usual
BagChloe periwinkle small Paraty

Why I wore it:

I was working from home on this day, but first there was a breakfast event at my sons school to attend. It was a bit of a cloudy day and threatening rain, but that made it feel a little warmer so this Rebecca Minkoff knitted cover up was all I needed to layer over my grey tee and green jeans outfit to stay warm. I wear this knit a lot with grey tees, it's a good neutral option.

I did decide to add more colour to this with the accessories, with the blue beaded necklace (as a recent opshop find), and the blue Converse and periwinkle blue Chloe small Paraty bag. It's a great bag for all the essentials plus a little more.

What I wore:

JacketRebecca Minkoff Ruana poncho
Earrings: gold heart and pearl earrings
Necklace: handmade silver and gold faux pearl beaded necklace
Tee: thrifted Cotton On The one crew tee in green
Jeans: Jeanswest Cecile dove grey skinny jeans
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in white
Bracelets: the usual
BagMimco black button bag

Why I wore it:

Another green and grey outfit with this Rebecca Minkoff black and white Ruana as a topper! This time it was a green tee and grey skinny jeans with white Converse. I added the beaded necklace for a little extra interest, and I liked how the white string matched the white Converse and the white thread in the knit, and the faux pearls matched the earrings. I've been enjoying this necklace since I made it from leftover beads after trying to repair a thrifted necklace that fell apart.

I had a big bag this time, this vintage Mimco button bag, as I had some documents to carry around. While I was working from home I used my lunch break to attend an appointment that I needed some paperwork for, and this bag fit it all nicely.

Really appreciated this cosy knitted cover up in the evening too when the kids had sports, it kept me so warm!

Last worn: Rebecca Minkoff ruana (above), heart and pearl earrings, faux pearl necklace, green tee, grey skinny jeans, Converse, Mimco vintage black button bag.

Red Tees and Black Cardigans With Skinny Jeans

Just like in my previous post, wearing red tees again! This time paired with black knits and skinny jeans.

What I wore:

JacketRebecca Minkoff Ruana poncho
Necklace: thrifted grey and white beaded necklace
Tee: thrifted Suzanne Grae basics red tee
Jeans: thrifted Jeanswest faded black cropped butt lifter jeans
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
Bracelets: the usual
BagRebecca Minkoff MAB mini in soft grey

Why I wore it:

I love how blanket-like this cosy Rebecca Minkoff knitted ruana is! The black and white print means it goes with everything, and jeans and a tee is a bit of a staple for me in winter, especially paired with this cosy topper. It was a nice easy outfit for working from home, with the school run and then the end of term wrap-party for sports in the evening. I just wrapped the knit around me to keep me warmer at night!

I did take a big book along with me to the party, it was a party for the kids, so I just had to sit on the sidelines. I needed a big bag for it and this Rebecca Minkoff soft grey MAM bag was perfect, as it fit my essentials, the large novel I was reading from the library, and my water bottle too.

The tee, like the necklace, is recently thrifted. While the necklace sticks with the neutral colour scheme of the black and white knit and Converse, black jeans and grey bag, I liked the pop of colour the red tee added to this outfit.

Last worn: Rebecca Minkoff knit ruana, statement beaded necklace, red crew neck tee, black skinny jeans, black Converse, Rebecca Minkoff soft grey MAM.

Tee: Jeanswest Emily cotton v-neck tee in coral
Jeans: Jeanswest Cecile dove grey skinny jeans
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in white
Bracelets: the usual
Bagvintage original Rebecca Minkoff 5-zip in faded electric blue

Why I wore it:

Another jeans and tee outfit! It was a quiet weekend but I had a couple of errands to run. We were celebrating a big milestone at work the next day, so I ran round a few grocery stores to pick up the perfect ingredients for a cookie platter. It was fun to put together, especially as I ate a couple accidentally broken cookies that didn't make it into the box at the end!

Just like the outfit above, the red tee provides most of the colour in this outfit, with the white Converse, grey skinny jeans, and black cocoon cardigan. I did add a little extra colour with the blue Rebecca Minkoff 5 zip bag and the blue beaded necklace too. Just like the necklace in the outfit above, it's a recent opshop find.

Red Tees, Printed Maxi Skirts, Blue Jackets and Rebecca Minkoff Edie Bag

Wearing some colourful blue and red outfits, with printed maxi skirts, red tees, blue jackets and recently thrifted necklaces.

What I wore:

JacketWittner 'Santa Fe' cobalt blue leather jacket
Necklace: thrifted blue knotted beaded necklace (new purchase)
Tee: thrifted Suzanne Grae basics red tee (new purchase)
Skirt: thrifted ruffle hem leopard print midi skirt
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star in hot tea
BagRebecca Minkoff Edie regular shoulder bag in Luna blue

Why I wore it:

I really liked this outfit! The red tee is a new-to-me opshop find. I am always on the hunt for good basic cotton tees in the opshops, and I loved the bright red of this. Although I have a few red tees already in my wardrobe, at just $1, I had to pick this up! With the bright cobalt leather jacket it really pops, and I added some more interest to this outfit with the leopard print maxi skirt. The skirt is also an opshop find. Despite a small slit up the side it was long enough on this breezey winter day to keep my legs cosy. I went with the brown Converse to match the browns in the leopard print skirt, and then I went matchy-matchy with the bag and necklace too. I think this Luna blue Rebecca Minkoff Edie bag is a great pairing with the greyish-blue on this necklace.

While it was a colder winter day, we were up early as I took the kids to a science show. They had a great time, made the errands we had to run afterwards a little more bearable as we had such fun at the show!

Last worn: blue leather jacket, leopard print maxi skirt, brown Converse, Rebecca Minkoff Edie shoulder bag. First time I've worn the necklace and the tee as they are recent opshop buys.

Other ways to wearblue leather jacket worn 30 ways, leopard print maxi skirt and blazer, brown Converse and dress, Rebecca Minkoff Edie shoulder bag and jeans.

What I wore:

Jacket: Jeanswest navy suede moto zip jacket
Necklace: thrifted grey and white beaded necklace (new purchase)
TeeZalora Basics maroon stepped t-shirt
Skirt: Jeanswest Farrah blue tie dye maxi skirt
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in white
BagRebecca Minkoff Edie regular shoulder bag in Luna blue

Why I wore it:

Another red tee and maxi skirt outfit combination! Like the one above, I stuck with blue and red, with this deeper burgundy tee and the fun blue tie dye print maxi skirt. I went with a darker blue jacket with this navy suede one that's really warm for winter. Perfect for an early morning school drop off, although I didn't need it too much in the afternoon for school pick up. I worked from home when the kids were at school, had an appointment, and then took the kids to the dentist after school.

While the shades of blue and red in this outfit are different from the brighter ones above, I liked this outfit too. The skirt does have a pretty large slit up the side so was not as warm as I'd have liked in the morning, but it thankfully got warmer later in the day when the sun was shining.

Just like the outfit above, I accessorised with the Rebecca Minkoff Luna blue Edie bag - it fits my current library read in it along with all my essentials, great for in the writing room at the dentist. The necklace is an opshop find too, I thrifted both this one and the blue one in the same store. I love the chunky beads.

Last worn: navy suede jacket, burgundy tee, tie dye maxi skirt, white Converse, Rebecca Minkoff Edie bag (above). First time I've worn the necklace as it's a recent opshop find.

Other ways to wearnavy suede jacket and jeans, burgundy tee and shorts, tie dye maxi skirt and knit, white Converse and dress, Rebecca Minkoff Edie bag and jeans.
