Red Tees and Black Cardigans With Skinny Jeans

Just like in my previous post, wearing red tees again! This time paired with black knits and skinny jeans.

What I wore:

JacketRebecca Minkoff Ruana poncho
Necklace: thrifted grey and white beaded necklace
Tee: thrifted Suzanne Grae basics red tee
Jeans: thrifted Jeanswest faded black cropped butt lifter jeans
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
Bracelets: the usual
BagRebecca Minkoff MAB mini in soft grey

Why I wore it:

I love how blanket-like this cosy Rebecca Minkoff knitted ruana is! The black and white print means it goes with everything, and jeans and a tee is a bit of a staple for me in winter, especially paired with this cosy topper. It was a nice easy outfit for working from home, with the school run and then the end of term wrap-party for sports in the evening. I just wrapped the knit around me to keep me warmer at night!

I did take a big book along with me to the party, it was a party for the kids, so I just had to sit on the sidelines. I needed a big bag for it and this Rebecca Minkoff soft grey MAM bag was perfect, as it fit my essentials, the large novel I was reading from the library, and my water bottle too.

The tee, like the necklace, is recently thrifted. While the necklace sticks with the neutral colour scheme of the black and white knit and Converse, black jeans and grey bag, I liked the pop of colour the red tee added to this outfit.

Last worn: Rebecca Minkoff knit ruana, statement beaded necklace, red crew neck tee, black skinny jeans, black Converse, Rebecca Minkoff soft grey MAM.

What I wore:

Jacket: thrifted Dotti black cocoon cape cardigan
EarringsMichael Hill stud earrings with aqua cubic zirconia in sterling silver
Necklace: thrifted blue knotted beaded necklace
Tee: Jeanswest Emily cotton v-neck tee in coral
Jeans: Jeanswest Cecile dove grey skinny jeans
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in white
Bracelets: the usual
Bagvintage original Rebecca Minkoff 5-zip in faded electric blue

Why I wore it:

Another jeans and tee outfit! It was a quiet weekend but I had a couple of errands to run. We were celebrating a big milestone at work the next day, so I ran round a few grocery stores to pick up the perfect ingredients for a cookie platter. It was fun to put together, especially as I ate a couple accidentally broken cookies that didn't make it into the box at the end!

Just like the outfit above, the red tee provides most of the colour in this outfit, with the white Converse, grey skinny jeans, and black cocoon cardigan. I did add a little extra colour with the blue Rebecca Minkoff 5 zip bag and the blue beaded necklace too. Just like the necklace in the outfit above, it's a recent opshop find.

Red Tees, Printed Maxi Skirts, Blue Jackets and Rebecca Minkoff Edie Bag

Wearing some colourful blue and red outfits, with printed maxi skirts, red tees, blue jackets and recently thrifted necklaces.

What I wore:

JacketWittner 'Santa Fe' cobalt blue leather jacket
Necklace: thrifted blue knotted beaded necklace (new purchase)
Tee: thrifted Suzanne Grae basics red tee (new purchase)
Skirt: thrifted ruffle hem leopard print midi skirt
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star in hot tea
BagRebecca Minkoff Edie regular shoulder bag in Luna blue

Why I wore it:

I really liked this outfit! The red tee is a new-to-me opshop find. I am always on the hunt for good basic cotton tees in the opshops, and I loved the bright red of this. Although I have a few red tees already in my wardrobe, at just $1, I had to pick this up! With the bright cobalt leather jacket it really pops, and I added some more interest to this outfit with the leopard print maxi skirt. The skirt is also an opshop find. Despite a small slit up the side it was long enough on this breezey winter day to keep my legs cosy. I went with the brown Converse to match the browns in the leopard print skirt, and then I went matchy-matchy with the bag and necklace too. I think this Luna blue Rebecca Minkoff Edie bag is a great pairing with the greyish-blue on this necklace.

While it was a colder winter day, we were up early as I took the kids to a science show. They had a great time, made the errands we had to run afterwards a little more bearable as we had such fun at the show!

Last worn: blue leather jacket, leopard print maxi skirt, brown Converse, Rebecca Minkoff Edie shoulder bag. First time I've worn the necklace and the tee as they are recent opshop buys.

Other ways to wearblue leather jacket worn 30 ways, leopard print maxi skirt and blazer, brown Converse and dress, Rebecca Minkoff Edie shoulder bag and jeans.

What I wore:

Jacket: Jeanswest navy suede moto zip jacket
Necklace: thrifted grey and white beaded necklace (new purchase)
TeeZalora Basics maroon stepped t-shirt
Skirt: Jeanswest Farrah blue tie dye maxi skirt
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in white
BagRebecca Minkoff Edie regular shoulder bag in Luna blue

Why I wore it:

Another red tee and maxi skirt outfit combination! Like the one above, I stuck with blue and red, with this deeper burgundy tee and the fun blue tie dye print maxi skirt. I went with a darker blue jacket with this navy suede one that's really warm for winter. Perfect for an early morning school drop off, although I didn't need it too much in the afternoon for school pick up. I worked from home when the kids were at school, had an appointment, and then took the kids to the dentist after school.

While the shades of blue and red in this outfit are different from the brighter ones above, I liked this outfit too. The skirt does have a pretty large slit up the side so was not as warm as I'd have liked in the morning, but it thankfully got warmer later in the day when the sun was shining.

Just like the outfit above, I accessorised with the Rebecca Minkoff Luna blue Edie bag - it fits my current library read in it along with all my essentials, great for in the writing room at the dentist. The necklace is an opshop find too, I thrifted both this one and the blue one in the same store. I love the chunky beads.

Last worn: navy suede jacket, burgundy tee, tie dye maxi skirt, white Converse, Rebecca Minkoff Edie bag (above). First time I've worn the necklace as it's a recent opshop find.

Other ways to wearnavy suede jacket and jeans, burgundy tee and shorts, tie dye maxi skirt and knit, white Converse and dress, Rebecca Minkoff Edie bag and jeans.

Floral Dresses, Denim Jackets and Balenciaga Bags

Wearing some floral dresses, layered up for Brisbane's current winter weather with denim jackets, leggings, and ankle boots. Adding more colour to the outfits with some Balenciaga bags.

What I wore:

Jacket: Anko Kmart mid wash denim jacket
EarringsAna Luisa 'Olivia' tassel earrings in pink
DressJaase Semika mini smock dress in amor print mandarin dollar dress
ShoesAtmos&Here tan Lola leather ankle boots
BagBalenciaga RH classic city in 2010 sorbet

Why I wore it:

I really liked this outfit, I wanted something comfortable and warm but also colourful for watching my son compete in the afternoon. With the pink in the floral print of this Jaase Semika mini dress, I added the pink tassel earrings and then more pink with the sorbet Balenciaga city bag. I needed a big bag for fitting my camera inside as well as a book and all my usual essentials. While the pink on the sorbet Balenciaga city bag and the pastel pink tassels on the earrings don't match and don't match the pink in the floral print of the dress, I liked all the shades of pink with this. We were indoors most of the afternoon so the denim jacket was the only layer I needed.

Last worn: pink tassel earrings, denim jacket, Jaase Semika floral mini dress, tan ankle boots, sorbet pink Balenciaga city bag.

Other ways to weardenim jacket and skirt, Jaase Semika floral mini dress and trench coat, tan ankle boots and midi dress, sorbet pink Balenciaga city bag worn 30 ways.

Perfect for pregnancyBalenciaga sorbet pink city bag at 37 weeks.

What I wore:

Jacket: Kmart Anko full length oversized denim trench coat
Earrings: Colette purple acrylic flower statement earrings
Dress: thrifted Iris Maxi the Label purple floral tiered mini dress
Shoes: RMK Chester black ankle boots
BagBalenciaga raisin purple 2009 giant silver G21 hardware work bag

Why I wore it:

This was a bit of a calmer day! Again I wanted to try wearing a summer floral dress in winter - this one is a recent opshop find! I couldn't pass it up for just $1 at the opshop, although I did worry a few times during this day that it was a little short. I chose to wear the long denim trench coat made me feel a little more confident that the dress wasn't too short, as the long trench covers everything. I ended up really liking this outfit.

I went all matchy-matchy with the purple flower earrings and purple Balenciaga work bag. I liked the statement earrings for video calls as I worked from home, and the large Balenciaga work bag was perfect for all the essentials and still had a lot of space for my current book so I could read in the afternoon as the kids had a dentist appointment.

Graphic Tees, Skinny Jeans, Cardigans and Mimco Cocoon bag

Wearing graphic tees with jeans again, making them nice and cosy for winter with these cocoon cardigans, and my Mimco cocoon bag.

What I wore:

Jacket: thrifted Dotti black cocoon cape cardigan
Earrings: Kmart teal tassel earrings
Tee: Kisschasy Hymns for the Nonbeliever 2025 tour band tee
Jeans: thrifted Cotton On The High Rise Skinny Jean black coated denim
ShoesAdidas Superstar sneakers
Bracelets: the usual
BagMIMCO vintage cocoon bucket bag in teal

Why I wore it:

Having purchased this tee at the Kisschasy gig the night before, I was eager to wear it right away! Jeans are the easiest outfit choice with a band tee, and this coated denim pair was overdue another wear. With the black coated jeans, black stripes in the Adidas superstar, the black cocoon cardigan was a nice matchy-matchy choice. I continued the matching with the tassel earrings and the teal Mimco Cocoon bag. Surprisingly, it's the first time I've worn the earrings and bag together. It's such a good combination I'm sure I'll be repeating it again soon!

This was a nice comfortable jeans and tee outfit for a couple of errands and a bit of shopping with my sister and the boys.

Last worn: black cocoon cardigan, teal tassel earrings, Kisschasy band tee, coated denim jeans, Adidas Superstar sneakers, Mimco teal cocoon bag.

Other ways to wearblack cocoon cardigan and printed jeans, Kisschasy band tee and skirt, coated denim jeans and jumper, Adidas Superstar sneakers and skirt, Mimco teal cocoon bag and shorts.

What I wore:

Jacket: Ripe longline grey cardigan
EarringsMIMCO fleur stud silver earrings
Tee: Canada bear graphic tee
Jeans: Jeanswest black skinny jeans with zipper detail
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
Bracelets: the usual
BagMIMCO vintage cocoon bucket bag in teal

Why I wore it:

This is actually the outfit I wore to the gig I bought the tee above at! I did swap out the grey cocoon cardigan for a warmer hoodie to go out to the show, but during the day this grey cardigan was all I needed to stay warm. Jeans and a tee has been a staple working from home outfit over winter, especially with a nice cosy knit like this. It was a warmer day and so I didn't need to add a scarf for the school run which was good as it would have hidden the detail on this Canada graphic tee.

With the blue and green in the graphic print I felt the teal Mimco cocoon bag was a nice choice, and it was something I could wear crossbody during the show while in the crowd. It's also a lot more spacious that it looks, both my sister and I bought tees at the merch stand and they fit in the bag nicely along with my essentials and left me hands-free for dancing during the songs. The Converse were an incredibly comfortable choice for being on my feet for a few hours too. We had such a great night!

Last worngrey cocoon cardigan, silver stud earrings, Canada graphic tee, black skinny jeans, black Converse, Mimco teal cocoon bag (above).

Other ways to weargrey cocoon cardigan and skirt, Canada graphic tee and colourful jeans, black skinny jeans and stripes, black Converse and dress, Mimco teal cocoon bag and skirt.

Tees, Grey Jeans, Cocoon Cardigans And Love Too Bag

Another two jeans and tee outfits with some cocoon cardigans for autumn working from home days back in May. I'm wearing my little croc embossed Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag with both of these outfits, I love how it just goes with everything!

What I wore:

Jacket: Ripe longline grey cardigan
Necklace: Happiness Boutique turquoise and coral pendant necklace (c/o)
TeeCotton On The One fitted v tee in washed red clay
Jeans: Jeanswest Cecile dove grey skinny jeans
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star in hot tea
BagRebecca Minkoff Love Too in deep teal croc embossed leather

Why I wore it:

I liked the simplicity of this outfit, with the long grey cocoon cardigan keeping me warm, and the clay tee adding some colour between the grey cardigan and grey jeans. I picked the brown Converse as they seemed similar to the clay tee but they are much more different than I had thought. Luckily the brown is a nice neutral so they still work with all the other neutral grey tones in this outfit. I added a little extra colour with the pendant necklace as well.

Wanted to be comfortable more than anything and these stretchy jeans are very comfortable to wear - perfect for a bit of driving around in the morning for an early morning vet appointment for cooper, and then working from home for the rest of the day.

Last worn: grey cocoon cardigan, stone pendant necklace, rust tee, grey skinny jeans, brown Converse, Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag.

Other ways to weargrey cocoon cardigan and skirt, rust tee and shortsgrey skinny jeans worn 30 ways, brown Converse and dress, Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag and skirt.

What I wore:

Jacket: thrifted no label black and white leopard print cocoon cardigan
EarringsColette Tropadelic fuchsia coloured metal leaf earrings
Necklace: thrifted gold large double circle necklace
Tee: Jeanswest essential v-neck tee in azalea pink
JeansNobody Denim Cult high rise skinny ankle jeans in charred grey
ShoesAdidas Superstar sneakers
BagRebecca Minkoff Love Too in deep teal croc embossed leather

Why I wore it:

A very similar outfit with another neutral cocoon cardigan over grey jeans and a tee! This time around I went a little brighter with the pink tee, and the fuchsia earrings. While the shades of pink are very different I thought they looked nice together, and it dressed up my outfit a little for video calls as I worked from home.

My son had an early morning appointment at the doctors before school, I worked from home and then after school pickup they had an evening kids event at church to attend, so it was a bit of a busy day with the driving around. I was thankful for this cosy cardigan keeping me warm as it was a bit windy, especially at the event in the evening. Although I wore this back in autumn it was definitely starting to get cooler.

Last worn: leopard print cardigan, double circle necklace, pink tee, Nobody Denim jeans, Adidas Superstar sneakers, Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag (above). First time I've shared the earrings on the blog as they are a recent purchase.

Other ways to wearleopard print cardigan and skirt, pink tee and shorts, Nobody Denim jeans with red, Adidas Superstar sneakers and skirt, Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag and dress.

Peach Floral Dresses, Anko Denim Trench, Converse and Chloe Ethel Bag

Wearing my Kmart denim trench coat yet again, with two very similar peachy-pastel print floral dresses, Converse and my Chloe Ethel bag. I do love repeating a good outfit formula!

What I wore:

Jacket: Kmart Anko full length oversized denim trench coat
EarringsColette white pearl beaded gum leaf tassel earrings
DressJaase Semika mini smock dress in amor print mandarin dollar dress
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star in hot tea
BagChloe small Ethel bag in light khaki

Why I wore it:

This was a bit of a busy day! Cooper had the vets in the morning, then I had a fun art class with friends, and used my mother's day gift to treat myself to a pamper session in the evening. So busy, but fun! It was a rainy start to the day so I did wonder if I should have worn boots instead of Converse, but thankfully the rain dried up quickly and it was really warm when the sun came out. I didn't even need my trench coat by lunch time. the long sleeves on this dress helped.

This was a great first wearing of this beautiful Jasse dress I picked up in the latest Salty Crush sale - it got a lot of compliments in art class and I thankfully avoided getting it dirty with the materials! It was such a delight to wear, and I'm so pleased I bought this dress, even if it does look a little similar to the dress I'm wearing below.

Last worn: denim trench coat, brown Converse, Chloe Ethel bag. It's the first time I've shared the earrings on the blog and Jaase dress on the blog as they are recent purchases.

Other ways to weardenim trench coat and black dress, brown Converse and jeans, Chloe Ethel bag and skirt.

What I wore:

Jacket: Kmart Anko full length oversized denim trench coat
Earrings: Colette blue mixed shape faux crustal drop earrings
Dress: thrifted no label pastel floral print babydoll dress
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star coast blue
BagChloe small Ethel bag in light khaki

Why I wore it:

Unlike the dress above that was an online sale purchase, this peachy pastel print floral dress is an opshop find! it's a lot cheaper, at just $1, and a slightly different set of colours and a babydoll waist style with much fewer buttons. I still think that when posted side by side like this in almost identical layers with this denim trench, the two dresses look every similar. I think there is certainly room for both in my wardrobe though!

This was a busy but less fun day, with another vet visit for Cooper, the school run, a couple of errands, and working from home. I knotted the tassel on this dress at the neckline as with the blue statement earrings I couldn't decide on a necklace. I like the way this dress looks tied up too, I'll need to try that with the tassels on the dress above also one day.

Last worn: crystal earrings, denim trench coat (above), floral babydoll dress, blue Converse, Chloe Ethel bag (above).

Other ways to weardenim trench coat and midi dress, floral babydoll dress and leather jacket, blue Converse and jeans, Chloe Ethel bag and shorts.

Striped Tees, Jeans, Long Coats And Purple Chloe Paraty Bag

More autumn jeans outfits - I really do reach for my denim a lot in the cooler weather! This time around I'm wearing jeans and striped tees with my purple small Chloe Paraty bag, for some working from home days.

What I wore:

Jacket: Ripe longline grey cardigan
Teethrifted navy stripe Coca-Cola logo tee
Jeans: thrifted Jeanswest faded black cropped butt lifter jeans
ShoesAdidas Superstar sneakers
BagChloe small Paraty bag in wine purple

Why I wore it:

This was another busy day! With the school run, working from home, a vet visit for the dogs, and then sports in the evening. While it was warmer during the day when I was out with the dogs, this warm grey cocoon cardigan was much needed for the cooler morning and the very cold evening outdoors with the kids.

I felt like this Coca-Cola logo stripe tee was overdue another wear, and it's a nice simple outfit paired with the plain grey cardigan and black skinny jeans. I added the Adidas Superstar for more black and white, and then an extra bit of colour with the purple Chloe Paraty bag. The deep wine coloured purple shade is particularly suited for autumn, I've been reaching for it a lot lately.

Last worn: grey cocoon cardigan, Coca-Cola logo tee, black skinny jeans, Adidas Superstar sneakers, Chloe Paraty bag.

Other ways to weargrey cocoon cardigan and skirt, Coca-Cola logo tee and shorts, black skinny jeans and blazer, Adidas Superstar sneakers and dress, Chloe Paraty bag and skirt.

What I wore:

Jacket: Kmart Anko full length oversized denim trench coat
EarringsColette purple acrylic flower statement earrings
Necklace: Uniquely Made with Love Sea Change necklace
TeeCotton On "The One" fitted v tee in Cole stripe white moonlight
JeansNobody Denim Cult high rise skinny ankle jeans in charred grey
Shoesthrifted white leather Chuck Taylor All Star Converse sneakers
BagChloe small Paraty bag in wine purple

Why I wore it:

Another striped tee and jeans outfit for working from home, again with the school run and a vet trip for Cooper. I like a casual jeans and tee outfit for working from home, as it's so comfortable. I did try to dress this up a little with these pretty purple acrylic slower earrings I picked up on a day out with my mum and sister lately. The store had a 3 for $10 sale and I couldn't resist! I felt these helped add a little interest and dressed up the tee enough for video calls.

I then went with the blue beaded necklace to match the earrings, and this denim trench coat that I absolutely adore. Despite it being quite popular when it was released last year, it went on sale in my local Kmart store for just $10 when spring arrived, and I had to snap it up. It's quite a soft denim and I like the relaxed oversized fit, will be perfect for layering with chunky knits when winter arrives. It was a nice way to do double denim with the grey jeans, and again I wore the purple Chloe Paraty bag for a touch of autumn colour.

Last worn: navy stripe tee, blue beaded necklace, Nobody Denim jeans, white leather Converse, purple Chloe Paraty bag (above). First time I've worn the trench as I bought it on sale last year in warmer weather, and first time I've worn the earrings as they are a recent purchase.

Other ways to wearnavy stripe tee and maxi skirt, Nobody Denim jeans and cardigan, white leather Converse and shorts, purple Chloe Paraty bag and dress.

Pink and Grey Skirt Outfits With Thrifted Camis

Wearing some of my recent opshop finds with old favourites for these autumn skirt outfits. Both feature grey and pink, and an extra layer over the top to combat the autumn chill.

What I wore:

Jacket: Jeanswest Polly kimono in dusty pink
Earrings: thrifted Target hammered silver circle earrings
Necklace: Target silver Alisha trinity pendant necklace
Tank: thrifted no label terrazzo print white tank
Skirt: Salvos Nobody Denim grey distressed denim skirt
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star in pink foam
Bracelets: the usual
BagChloe small Paraty bag in wine purple

Why I wore it:

These hammered silver circle earrings have been getting a bit of wear since I thrifted them! Just like last time I wore them when I went matchy-matchy, I tried it again picking this silver circle necklace to wear. I really liked the earrings and necklace together! And another wearing of this terrazzo print tank that I thrifted at the same time, and recently wore to the office.

For this casual outfit I wore it with a distressed grey Nobody Denim skirt, pink Converse and then my pink cover up, to compliment the pastel pink in the terrazzo print. Although it's not an exact match I liked the extra shades of pink with this, and added the wine purple Chloe Paraty bag for a little more colour.

There was a bit of driving around on this day, although I was working from home, as we started the morning picking up a dog we were dogsitting, then I had to drop the kids off at vacation care before heading home for working from home, before collecting the kids in the afternoon. Busy day!

Last worn: pink cover up, silver circle earrings, silver circle necklace, terrazzo print tank, Nobody Denim skirt, pink Converse, Chloe wine purple Paraty bag.

Other ways to wear: pink cover up and dressterrazzo print tank and blazer, Nobody Denim skirt and graphic tee, pink Converse and maxi skirt, Chloe wine purple Paraty bag and dress.

What I wore:

Jacket: Ripe longline grey cardigan
Earrings: thrifted Target hammered silver circle earrings
Necklace: thrifted pearl and heart charm long necklace
Cami: thrifted Cotton On pale olive cami (new purchase)
Skirt: Target animal print ruffle hem mini skirt
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star in hot tea
Bracelets: the usual plus Cotton On silver beaded bracelet stack
BagBalenciaga RH classic city in 2010 sorbet

Why I wore it:

Finally got to wear this long grey cocoon cardigan I got from our annual pre-Christmas opshopping trip. I was so excited to get it, and it's been a while before it was finally cool enough to give it a wear. I love a cocoon style cardigan and I like the longer length on this one too. I wore it with the new Converse mum bought me recently. They had a sale on so I ended up with two new pairs! With the brown in the leopard print skirt the Converse were a nice match, and I took the opportunity to wear this newly thrifted pale olive cami for the first time.

I felt with the grey cardigan keeping me cosy, and the neutral browns and olive of the top and skirt and shoes, this outfit needed a little more interest. The statement multi chain necklace wasn't enough so I added a pink bag, my Balenciaga sorbet city bag that was overdue another wear. I like how it brightened up this outfit. It was perfect for another day of working from home, with drop off and pickup for the kids at vacation care.

Last worn: silver circle earrings (above), necklace, leopard print skirt, Balenciaga sorbet pink city bag. First time I've worn the cardigan as it was a Christmas present, Converse as they were a recent gift, and the olive cami as it was a recent opshop find.
