What I wore:
Tee: thrifted Marcs navy lurex detail foil tee
Skirt: Jeanswest Farrah blue tie dye maxi skirt
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star coast blue
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: thrifted Stella McCartney Falabella fold-over tote in midnight black
Why I wore it:
I often wear black and navy together so I didn't have any concerns about this Falabella bag with the monochromatic navy outfit. I really liked the silver chain detail on the bag with the silver lurex threads in this tee. It looks so sparkly in person, it's what drew me to it at the opshop, but sadly it doesn't seem to translate that well in the photos. It's a fun way to add a little sparkle to my day though!Paired the new tee with a maxi skirt and my comfortable Converse for the school run, working from home, and a playdate in the park in the afternoon.
Last worn: blue beaded necklace, tie dye maxi skirt, blue Converse, Stella McCartney Falabella bag. First time I've worn the navy tee as it's a recent purchase.
Other ways to wear: tie dye maxi skirt and jumper, blue Converse and dress, Stella McCartney Falabella bag and shorts.
Necklace: adjustable coral flat bead necklace
Tank: Jeanswest Maji metallic tank in soft green and silver
Skirt: thrifted ruffle hem leopard print midi skirt
Shoes: black slim Havaianas thongs
Bracelets: the usual

Why I wore it:
This is another metallic top that doesn't photograph as sparkly as it is in real life - but it does photograph a lovely silver colour! Decided to wear this tank as it's a great neutral to pair with this recently thrifted leopard print midi skirt. Added a little coral necklace for some extra colour as the neutrals looked a bit plain, and I liked the pop the colour added!Again I wore my Falabella bag, it really does go with everything! Had to do the school run as well as working from home.

You're getting good cost-per-wear on your thrifted bag, Mica, well done! I love that you're bringing the sparkle with your tops (they never photograph right). That leopard skirt is just wonderful, what a good find.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the combination of blues in the first outfit...of course, haha. You look like a summer sky!
ReplyDeleteYour are rocking that leopard skirt.

There is nothing better than something that sparkles! Love that you have some wonderful metallic tops to wear. Both looks are beautiful, but I especially love the second outfit. That skirt is such a star!
ReplyDeletethe creation of beauty is art.
I've noticed that sparkly and metallic items usually do not photograph all that well, which is a shame. I do think your first outfit is absolutely fabulous - plus I can see some of the sparkle in the final photo. That Stella McCartney bag is stunning, what a find! xxx
