What I wore:
Necklace: Kmart black and gold double strand beaded necklace
Tee: Atmos & Here white essential v-neck tee
Jeans: thrifted Jeanswest faded black cropped butt lifter jeans
Shoes: Walnut Melbourne 'Ava' black lizard ballet flats
Bracelets: the usual plus beaded black bracelet stack
Bag: Balenciaga part time in black 2010 with SGH
Why I wore it:
I got this beautiful Diane Von Furstenberg jacket from Sheila! She very kindly included it in the box when she sent my bag back to me with her gorgeous artwork on it. It was perfect timing as that day I had a reminder for an appointment the next day I'd forgotten about - this jacket felt like the perfect way to dress up my work from home jeans and tee outfit to make it appropriate for an appointment I needed to feel confident with. Totally copied Sheila and stuck with the black and white colours for my outfit, with the white tee, black skinny jeans, black ballet flats and even a black bag!Perfect outfit for working from home, spending some time with my mum, and an appointment in the afternoon, although I still am not sure that was quite the right necklace for this outfit, I'd try a longer one next time.
Last worn: white tee, beaded necklace, faded black skinny jeans, black ballet flats, Balenciaga part time bag. First time I've worn this jacket as it was a recent gift from Sheila.
Other ways to wear: white tee over maxi dress, faded black skinny jeans and black knit, black ballet flats and printed skirt, Balenciaga part time bag worn 30 ways.
Perfect for pregnancy: ballet flats in third trimester, Balenciaga part time bag in second trimester.

30 Ways To Wear A Black Balenciaga Part Time Bag:
What I wore:
Necklace: Roie Designs multi chain layered beaded necklace
Tee: Cotton On The One Deep V tee in marle nep white body black
Jeans: Nobody Denim Cult high rise skinny ankle jeans in charred grey
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
Bracelets: the usual plus beaded black bracelet stack
Bag: Balenciaga part time in black 2010 with SGH
Why I wore it:
A much more casual outfit than the one above, although it follows an identical formula. Dark denim jeans, a white tee, and this lovely green floral print duster as a topper. Worn with Converse rather than ballet flats, but again I went with black accessories with a necklace I think really did work with this outfit, a beaded black bracelet stack, and my Balenciaga part time bag.Just needed something simple and comfortable for a busy morning, with a little bit of driving to-and-fro as my son had a birthday party to attend. Thankfully the party was indoors with all the rain - although the little shower we did get caught in wasn't too kind to my hair!
Last worn: green floral duster, black multi chain necklace, white tee, grey Nobody denim jeans, black Converse, Balenciaga part time bag (above).
Other ways to wear: green floral duster and Bermuda shorts, white tee and blazer, grey Nobody denim jeans and stripe tee, black Converse and dress, Balenciaga part time bag worn 30 ways.
Perfect for pregnancy: Converse in second trimester, Balenciaga part time bag in second trimester.
How You Can Wear It:
With a classic black jeans and white tee outfit you can add a lot more colour and interest with a light layer like these green floral ones. A silk jacket, or floral duster, can be the perfect light layer for spring.

I bought a red floral topper (but one to tie in the front, like a wrap dress) second hand in New York and wore it pretty similar with a white tank and black denim recently.

As soon as I saw the first picture, I went, 'Hey!!!" Wow, that jacket looks fantastic on you, Mica - much better than on me! I love that you researched it too. I paid $28.95 for it, and only wore it twice, so you can add my two wears when you hit 30 on it!
