Friday was such a good day! Had a few last minute pressies arrive just in time (despite one of them being ordered in October!) so I wrapped them in the morning. As it was his last day at work before the Christmas shut down period, DH only had to work half a day so we celebrated the start of our joint holidays by going out for lunch.

Just a casual shorts and singlet outfit today. A hot summer day, so shorts seemed like a good option. Really like the print of this top, although it's been a "maybe keep" option in my wardrobe for a while, I can never seem to get rid of it. Everyone needs a good animal print piece, don't you think?

Very casual outfit for a Monday, as I was working from home today. I'll probably be working from home a little more frequently in future, which is nice as it gives me a reason to wear the huge number of casual clothes in my wardrobe, and I get to spend more time with Cooper. He usually naps nearby when I'm on the computer :) Only left the house to take him a walk today, so this little cross body bag is all I needed to carry the essentials.

It was a lovely sunny and warm Sunday, so I got to wear another of my DFO summer purchases! Paired the navy skirt with pink accessories of course. I do like pink and blue together. Went with silver sandals instead of pink ones though, as I didn't want to go too overboard with the pink. What do you think?

Nice simple outfit for a Sunday. This maxi dress was lovely as there was a slight breeze and it was nice walking around in it, despite the dark colour. Even got the thongs (flip flops) out! Relaxing day, finishing with Church Online in the evening. Apologies for Cooper's fluffy butt in the photo, haha. He just didn't want to face the camera.

A little bit of layering today! Wasn't sure if the striped texture of the dress would pair nicely with the stripes on my tee, but I think it worked quite well. Felt quite cosy and comfortable in this all day, I really like this dress layered. Picked out this scarf to wear as originally I was going to wear a purple top underneath, but kept it for another pattern to add to the mix even though I wasn't wearing any purple.

Very similar accessories to the last time I wore this lovely jumper, sorry for the repetition! I think red pairs so nicely with the grey. Casual but warm outfit for spending the evening with the in-laws, having dinner and watching a movie. It was quite chilly so even Cooper has his knitted hoodie on! He had been shivering during the day as quite a bit of him was shaved after his operation. We've been putting his little shirts on when he looks cold.

First day of the long weekend means a nice casual jeans and tee outfit! Wearing my fave jeans and my latest purchase, a super-soft tee from Hendrick Boards. Purchasing it also donated $10 to help a rescued puppy named Chamsky.

I found out about the company through an Oscar's Law campaigner. Every tee purchased donates to a shelter, or specifically the care of one rescued animal. For someone like me who wants to help animals and also buys a lot of tees, it's a perfect site! :) I enjoy seeing the updates they post about the neglected animals getting better too. It's nice to see sometimes that there is good in the world. And sometimes, it's fun to wear the tee and hug your adopted puppy while you're on a walk with him!

We went to church with my parents for the Easter service in the morning, so I wore a cardi as it can get chilly with the aircon. Thought florals and pastel yellow was fitting for easter Sunday! Took my blog photos a little differently on on Saturday - first time using a proper tripod! Usually my photos are a mix of those taken by DH and those taken on self timer with a gorillapod and a tall object I can put the camera on. Now I have a tripod I can take photos anywhere, so I took these photos while on a long walk with Cooper. I just have to get better at finding a shady spot for photos though!

Nice bright outfit to end the weekend! Maybe a few too many different shades of blue and pink together, but I was comfortable and happy. Simple outfit to deal with a humid NYE. We are having a fairly quiet one close to home and will head out to the local fireworks to welcome in the new year. Had to wear something metallic of course, New Year's Eve calls for sparkle really.


This post also marks a year of blogging! Although I tried to blog what I was wearing every day for a year I didn't make it due to illness, so maybe next year I'll be able to share every single day.
