Printed Tanks and Pencil Skirts In The Office | Weekday Wear Link Up

More office outfits for today's Weekday Wear Link Up, brightening up some neutral jersey pencil skirts with colourful printed tanks, my Rebecca Minkoff Luna blue Edie bag and some casual Converse.

What I wore:

Jacket: Glassons orange jersey blazer
Tank: thrifted Target mixed print colourful printed tank

BagRebecca Minkoff Edie regular shoulder bag in Luna blue

Why I wore it:

Picked a very casual outfit for visiting one of our offices that is always extremely cold with the aircon. It was a hot heatwave day, so a light tank and a jersey pencil skirt were all I needed, but I appreciated the orange blazer in the office, and I packed a scarf in my bag too for when it got really cold in the aircon!

I felt the blazer and the navy statement earrings dressed up the casual outfit a little for another day in the office. I really liked the Luna blue Edie bag against the grey skirt an the blue in the printed tank too.

Didn't add a necklace, as I had the tassel earrings, and I felt the printed tank and orange blazer were enough of a statement on their own.

I much prefer this outfit to this one, when I wore the grey skirt and printed tank together but added a matching grey blazer. It's so much more fun with the orange!

Last worn: orange blazer, navy tassel earrings, printed tank, grey pencil skirt, black Converse, Rebecca Minkoff Edie shoulder bag.

Why I wore it:

First time I wore this silk tank Sheila gave me I worried about it getting stained being around little kids so much - not so many worries about that when I wore it to the office! This black pencil skirt goes with everything, but I thought that it matched particularly well with this top because of the tassels and black stripes. Again I didn't wear a necklace, I felt it would compete with the tassels on the top.

The blue Edie shoulder bag doesn't match the blue in the print, but I thought it was close enough that the bag was a good accessory with this outfit.

Wore my casual Converse with this outfit for the office - they are comfortable for a long commute and I don't want to overdress, the majority of ladies in the office are wearing their Converse too!
