What I wore:
Necklace: thrifted gold and pastel blue beaded necklace with grey string
Tank: Kmart navy ribbed tank
Skirt: thrifted Kmart rust button up linen blend skirt
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star low in white
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff unlined saddle bag in cherry red
Why I wore it:
Wore this for the first official day of my summer leave. Celebrated by taking the kids along to a cookie decorating class - they had a bunch of fun, and I had a good time chatting to my friend as our kids enjoyed their cookie playdate! Also ran a few errands picking up a couple last minute gifts, as this was back earlier in December.I really like navy and orange together, so was eager to try this navy tank with the rust button up skirt. I really liked the combination! The Converse were a practical choice for a bit of driving around, and I thought the little red bag would be a fun pop against the rust skirt. I have been wearing this bag a lot lately! I really liked this outfit.

My Red Handbag Collection:
What I wore:
Tank: Cle The Label Amelia tank in indigo
Skirt: thrifted Tree of Life ochre maxi skirt
Shoes: Rebecca Minkoff Georgina studded gladiator sandals in blush
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff red micro Avery cross body bag
Why I wore it:
This outfit is very similar to the one above, but I didn't love it quite as much. Still a fun combination of that navy, orange and red trio though.Again it was a simple navy tank with an orange skirt, this lovely thrifted maxi skirt that is super light for hot days, which this day certainly was! I had the little red bag from the night before, when we had gone out to White Christmas event at MovieWorld, as we stayed overnight at my parents on the coast instead of driving back home. I thought it would be fun with the little red bag and orange skirt, and since we had been at a Christmas event the night before, a little red and green necklace for a festive touch. The neutral studded sandals were what I'd worn the night before too, to keep packing light.
We unfortunately had to leave early in the morning, having to get back home for a playdate, so we didn't stay at my parents long.
