Leopard Print and Blue with Black Denim

Continuing on with wearing more of my new pieces I got for Christmas. My mum, sister and I always have an annual pre-Christmas shopping trip to do our gift shopping, and often pick up things for each other. This year we spent a morning at the opshops too and mum got me these cute leopard print pieces. Wore them with lots of blue and some black denim.

What I wore:

JacketJeanswest Kensley summer tie-dye kimono
Necklace: thrifted blue statement beaded necklace
Cami: Kmart Anko leopard print cami (Christmas present)
Shorts: Jeanswest Heather Bermuda short in black
Shoesslim navy and pink Havaianas
Bracelets: the usual
Bagvintage original Rebecca Minkoff 5-zip in faded electric blue (Christmas present)

Why I wore it:

Like most of the school holidays, this was a difficult day to dress for! We are having a particularly wet summer so I never know if it's going to be a cool and rainy day, or a hot and humid threatening rain but never raining day.

With this cute leopard print spaghetti strap cami I knew I needed some shoulder coverage though so chose this lovely navy tie dye cape to keep my shoulders covered from the sun as we ran a couple of errands. I wasn't sure if the tie dye and the leopard print would look good together so I wore a couple of other blue accessories to tie it all in. And kept the shorts neutral with these black denim shorts. I really liked this outfit and I'm glad I gave the tie dye and leopard a try!

Last worn: tie dye cape, navy necklace, black denim shorts, Havaianas. First time I've worn the leopard print cami and the Rebecca Minkoff 5 zip bag as they are Christmas presents.

Other ways to weartie dye cape and pink shorts, black denim shorts and florals.

What I wore:

Jacket: Kmart orange leopard print cover up (Christmas present)
Tee: teal Strange Planet 'wildly unprepared for the day' graphic tee (Christmas present)
Skirt: thrifted Target black stretch denim skirt
ShoesAdidas Superstar sneakers
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: vintage original Rebecca Minkoff 5-zip in faded electric blue (Christmas present)

Why I wore it:

This was another leopard and blue combination, with this cute orange leopard print cover up and my teal graphic tee. I've been a fan of Nathan Pyle's comics for a while, most of my Threadless tees I wore in my uni days were his designs. And the kids love the Strange Planet series he did, so we all ended up with a Strange Planet tee for Christmas! Mine says 'wildly unprepared for the day' which seems pretty accurate for me!

Wore it with my thrifted black denim skirt and Adidas Superstar sneakers. Added more blue to the teal with this Rebecca Minkoff 5 zip bag, which is great for fitting a book as well as my other essentials. The cover up was a last minute addition and I wasn't sure it worked, but like the outfit above, I wanted to give it a try. And I needed an extra layer over the tee and denim outfit as I took the kids to an airconditioned indoor play area for the morning.

Last worn: black denim skirt, Adidas Superstar sneakers. First time I've worn the leopard print cover up and the teal graphic tee as they are Christmas presents.

Magenta Bags With Floral Cover Ups And Black And White Shorts Outfits | Weekday Wear Link Up

Happy New Year!

For today's Weekday wear Link up, two simple tank and shorts outfits from December. Adding a little more colour with magenta bags, and some print and physical sunblock shoulder coverage with floral cover ups.

What I wore:

dark floral cover up with black denim shorts silver tank converse and magenta bag | awayfromblue

back floral print, Rebecca Minkoff prune MAC with pom pom and tassel keychain | awayfromtheblue

Jacketthrifted Supre black sheer floral kimono
Necklace: Kmart black and gold double strand beaded necklace
Tank: Jeanswest Maji metallic tank in soft green and silver
ShortsJeanswest Sara distressed hot short
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
Bracelets: the usual
BagRebecca Minkoff prune MAC with pom pom and tassel keychain

Why I wore it:

It's been a while since I wore this cover up, it was definitely due another wear! With the metallic tank that always looks quite white in pics, black and white Converse and the black denim shorts, it was a bit of a monochromatic outfit. This dark floral print was a great way to add a little more colour, and I liked the pinks and purples in the floral print with the magenta Rebecca Minkoff MAC bag.

Also carried a big Woolies tote with this for a picnic blanket and some snacks for a fun playdate in the park that morning. It was a busy day as we had a Christmas event in the evening, but I changed into a different outfit for that.

Last worn: dark floral cover up, black necklace, metallic tank, black denim shorts, Converse, prune Rebecca Minkoff MAC.

Other ways to weardark floral cover up with pink and purple, metallic tank and printed jeans, black denim shorts and printed tee, Converse and jeans, prune Rebecca Minkoff MAC and dress.

30 Ways to Wear a Magenta Bag

What I wore:

white shorts and thrifted Marc by Marc Jacobs Dr Q Convertible clutch in electric violet | awayfromtheblue

JacketCotton On Alana Wanderlust kimono in floral mood indigo
NecklaceHouse of Harlow sunburst necklace in silver and grey
Tank: Zalora basics ruffle hem tank in black
Shorts: thrifted Emerson white Bermuda shorts
ShoesNew Balance Coast women's running shoe in black
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: thrifted Marc by Marc Jacobs Dr Q Convertible clutch in electric violet

Why I wore it:

I really liked this outfit, but it was not the best one for the day. The magenta bag was a wonderful pop of colour against the blue printed cape and the black and white outfit. I liked the extra detail from the little peplum hem on the tank too. The sneakers were very comfortable for a day with a bit of driving around as well.

We'd had a late night the night before, and an early start for a fun STEM event I'd signed the kids up for in the school holidays. Then it was home for a quick lunch before heading out again to a bike riding workshop in the park. It was so much fun watching my son master some really tricky things, although I'd forgotten to get the picnic blanket out of the car and worried the whole time I sat on the grass watching that I was going to stain my white shorts, haha! Thankfully the shorts made it though mud and grass free, but probably should have picked another pair of shorts to wear to ease that worry.

Last worn: blue floral print cape, sunburst necklace, black peplum tank, white Bermuda shorts, New Balance sneakers, Marc By Marc Jacobs convertible clutch.

Other ways to wearblue floral print cape and pink shorts, black peplum tank and pencil skirt, white Bermuda shorts and duster, Marc By Marc Jacobs convertible clutch in thrifted outfit.

Perfect for pregnancyblack peplum tank and hidden baby bump.

How You Can Wear It:

Black and white outfits are always a classic fail safe colour combination to try. You can always add more colour to a base outfit in these shades with a printed cover up or a bright bag, or by wearing both, as I have in these outfits.

Apologies for the lack of a Weekday Wear Link up last week. I didn't get around to scheduling this post in advance as I'd usually do so the blog was a bit silent over Christmas as my son was unexpectedly unwell. Now he's feeling better I have a little more time to catch up with posts.

Green and White Outfits With Floral Dusters and Chloe Paraty Bag | Weekday Wear Link Up

Two green and white outfits with floral dusters and tees, and my little periwinkle blue Chloe Paraty bag. Surprisingly, despite both of these outfits being worn in summer, I'm wearing jeans! We had an unexpected cold snap at the start of summer in Brisbane.

What I wore:

green jeans, converse, chloe paraty bag and tropical floral print duster outfit | awayfromtheblue

Chloe periwinkle small Paraty bag crook of arm | awayfromblue

JacketJeanswest Melanie floral kimono
Necklace: thrifted gold large double circle necklace
TeeAtmos & Here white essential v-neck tee
Jeans: thrifted ASOS petite green skinny jeans
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star coast blue
Bracelets: the usual
BagChloe periwinkle small Paraty

Why I wore it:

Was surprised to have to be wearing jeans in summer, but the weather on this day definitely called for it! These green jeans hadn't been worn for a while so I got them out again. Wore them with the basic white v-neck tee as the navy tropical floral print duster added all the extra colour and print in my outfit. I went a little matchy-matchy with the gold necklace and the gold hardware on the Chloe Paraty bag too.

The blue Converse sneakers were a third shade of blue for this outfit, but despite them not matching the duster or the Paraty bag, I still liked them with this outfit. Good choice for a little running around on this day. After the school drop off and working from home we had a quick errand to run after I picked the kids up from school.

Last worn: floral duster, white tee, gold circle necklace, green skinny jeans, blue Converse, Chloe small Paraty bag.

Other ways to wearfloral duster and dress, white tee and printed jeans, green skinny jeans worn 30 ways, blue Converse and midi skirt, Chloe small Paraty bag and printed dress.

What's In My Bag: Chloe Small Paraty

What I wore:

Chloe periwinkle small Paraty worn on arm | awayfromtheblue

Jacket: Jeanswest Delilah long line kimono in green floral
Necklace: thrifted pearl and heart charm long necklace
TeeAtmos & Here Avery marle tee in navy
Shorts: thrifted Emerson white Bermuda shorts
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
Bracelets: the usual plus Polka Luka resin bangles in red and teal and orange
BagChloe periwinkle small Paraty

Why I wore it:

This was a very busy Monday! We had some Christmas presents the kids had to hand out to their classmates and teachers at school drop off, and I had a quick errand to run before working from home, picking up the kids from school, and another errand in the afternoon.

Luckily it was more like normal summer temperatures, so I was back in shorts and tee, and I added this green floral print duster for a little more colour. Again as we had a little bit of running around to do I went with comfortable Converse, black ones this time. I added these lovely resin bracelets to my regular bracelet stack too for a touch more colour and because I though the red was a nice nod to Christmas when worn with the green duster.

Last worn: green floral duster, double strand necklace, resin bangles, navy cropped tee, white Bermuda shorts, black Converse, Chloe small Paraty bag (above).

Other ways to weargreen floral duster with black and grey, navy cropped tee over a dress, white Bermuda shorts with red, black Converse and striped dress, Chloe small Paraty bag and denim skirt.

Perfect for pregnancyConverse in second trimester.

How You Can Wear It:

Blue and green should definitely be seen! Both of these outfits illustrate that different shades of blue and green look great together!

Blue and White Shorts Outfits With Balenciaga Moto Bags

Another outfit duo following a similar formula but two very different resulting looks, with shorts, blue and white, and Balenciaga bags. These bags are from 2009 and 2010, but age so well! I'm glad I splurged on them all those years ago.

What I wore:

Balenciaga RH classic city in 2010 sorbet | awayfromblue

JacketJeanswest Kensley summer tie-dye kimono
Tee: Primark Edinburgh white graphic tee
Shorts: Jeanswest Trinity Bermuda denim shorts
Shoesslim navy and pink Havaianas
Bracelets: the usual
BagBalenciaga RH classic city in 2010 sorbet

Why I wore it:

A hot but relaxed day, with the school run and working from home. Surprisingly, I haven't worn this tie dye cape and the sorbet pink Balenciaga city bag together before. I really like blue and pink so expected the combination to come up in my blog archives, but looks like this is a new pairing! The different blue and navy shades in the tie dye go so nicely with the sorbet pink of the bag.

Kept my outfit simple with this white graphic tee and Bermuda denim shorts, it was really too hot for much else, or for proper shoes! Didn't even add a necklace to this - I think with the printed cape and the graphic print on the tee, and bright bag, there was already enough going on in this outfit.

Last worn: tie dye cape, Edinburgh tee, Bermuda denim shorts, Havaianas, Balenciaga sorbet city bag.

Other ways to weartie dye cape and skirt, Edinburgh tee and culottes, Bermuda denim shorts and stripes, Balenciaga sorbet pink city bag worn 30 ways.

Perfect for pregnancyBalenciaga sorbet city bag at 37 weeks.

My Balenciaga Bag Collection:

What I wore:

Balenciaga raisin purple 2009 giant silver G21 hardware work bag | awayfromblue

Necklace: Kmart silver long circle pendant necklace
Tank: Jeanswest Maya gather back tank in mid turquoise
Shorts: thrifted Emerson white Bermuda shorts
Shoesslim navy and pink Havaianas
Bracelets: the usual
BagBalenciaga raisin purple 2009 giant silver G21 hardware work bag

Why I wore it:

Another hot day! We had a quiet morning at home, with a wildlife show to attend in the afternoon with the kids. I went with this simple turquoise tank and these light white Bermuda denim shorts, again blue and white like the outfit above. Because the show was outdoors I felt I should add a little bit of physical sunblock as well so went with this tropical floral print duster.

I've worn this purple Balenciaga work bag with turquoise before, and liked the combination. I also like wearing this purple bag with navy, so thought it would go nicely with the duster. All together it doesn't work quite as well as I would have liked, and with it being so hot and sticky I was wishing I'd gone with no duster on top. The bag was the perfect size for all our water bottles though. Thankfully we got home from the show just before the storm hit, and the humidity didn't stop my kids from enjoying the wildlife show and getting up close and personal with the animals and snakes.

Last worn: tropical floral duster, turquoise tank, silver circle necklace, white Bermuda shorts, Havaianas (above), raisin Balenciaga work bag.

Magnificent 8 - Western Style

For this quarter's Magnificent 8 style challenge, the theme was Western style. I admit my wardrobe doesn't really have a lot of Western pieces, and I don't own any cowboy boots! I had to think hard to see what I had in my wardrobe that would work for this theme, and that I would feel comfortable wearing, as of course everything I share on the blog is an outfit I've worn in real life.

In the end I focused on some abstract pieces of western style. Ankle boots instead of cowboy boots for starters. While I could do double denim I don't have a pair of flared jeans, so double denim with Bermuda shorts it was! I added tan belts to both of these outfits (with mixed success) and my recent purchase, my mini Darren messenger bag worked as a tasselled crossbody, although it is a little more structured than I'd think of for a "Western style" bag!

What I wore:

Jacket: Bubblegum denim jacket
Necklace: Jeanswest Taryn turquoise tassel bead necklace
TankCotton On 'eternity' tank in charcoal marle
Belt: embossed tan leather belt from my Mum's wardrobe
Shorts: Jeanswest Trinity Bermuda denim shorts
ShoesAtmos&Here tan Lola leather ankle boots
Bracelets: the usual plus turquoise and silver bracelet stack
BagRebecca Minkoff olive mini Darren

Why I wore it:

Big thank you to my Mum for helping me complete this look! When I thought about trying double denim with a big belt with a statement buckle for this challenge I realised I didn't actually own a belt with a statement buckle. My mum had this thick tan leather one that perfectly matched my tan ankle boots though, so that was a winner. And as she doesn't wear it much any more, I got to keep it! Very pleased to add it to my wardrobe.

I think this outfit is a little more "slight Western vibe" than a true Western style but I liked how the pieces came together with the plain tank, double denim, and turquoise necklace. I'd considered turquoise earrings too but I figured my everyday studs would be better for a day that had over 5 hours of meetings that I'd need to wear my headset for. Luckily, while I was at my parent's place all day working on my laptop, mum took the kids out to enjoy the school holidays down the coast, so they had a lot of fun while I was in endless meetings.

Last worn: denim jacket, grey tank, turquoise tassel necklace, Bermuda denim shorts, tan ankle boots, Rebecca Minkoff mini Darren bag.

Other ways to weardenim jacket worn 30 ways, grey tank and printed shorts, Bermuda denim shorts and kimono, tan ankle boots and dress, Rebecca Minkoff mini Darren bag and navy stripes.

Perfect for pregnancydenim jacket in second trimester, grey tank in third trimester.

Reveal: Rebecca Minkoff Darren From The Real Real

What I wore:

Dress: Kmart long sleeve black tie neck dress in floral wisteria print (new purchase)
Belt: tan belt that came with an old dress
Shoes: RMK Chester black ankle boots
BagRebecca Minkoff olive mini Darren

Why I wore it:

Another outfit that doesn't really scream "Western", but has little nods to the theme in it. I really love this dress, but the day and outfit didn't at all go according to plan! I'd stumbled across this $25 long sleeve black floral print dress in Kmart, reduced to $2, and just had to buy it. I had a night out planned with a friend so I figured this would be a good outfit to wear. And because it would be a little chilly by the water at night, I had picked out my black ankle boots to wear with it.

Unfortunately, my son fell sick the night before so the night out was cancelled, and instead I spend the morning shopping for a few essentials to help him feel better. I figured I'd wear the pretty dress anyway, even if I wasn't going anywhere exciting.

This belt was the part of the outfit that didn't really go to plan. I figured it might make the dress work for a Western theme, although the belt isn't the big statement buckle wide belt I would have wanted, it was the best I could find in my wardrobe! Being pleather and having sat unworn in my wardrobe for a few years, it was flaking a little. I thought that with the relaxed fit of the dress, the extra fabric bunched over the belt would hide the flaking parts where you could see the white fabric underneath. The photos prove that wasn't quite the case, and I was a little confused when I looked down at my dress when getting into the car to drive home and realised that it was covered in little pleather belt flakes. It looked really bad! The belt went in the bin as soon as I got home!

Despite it not really meeting the theme, the day and the belt not going to plan, I was able to get some treats at the grocery store to cheer up my son and soften the blow of having to cancel my night out and his playdates over the next couple days. And thankfully fully recovered quickly!

Last worn: tan belt, black ankle boots, Rebecca Minkoff mini Darren bag (above). First time I've worn the dress as it was a recent purchase.

Other ways to wearblack ankle boots worn 30 ways, Rebecca Minkoff mini Darren bag and jeans.

Perfect for pregnancyblack ankle boots in second trimester.

How You Can Wear It:

When you have a challenging theme to dress for, try thinking outside the box! You might not have the perfect pieces for a head to toe Western outfit, but you can try some western inspired accessories.

Yellow and Blue Kimono and Denim Outfits With Blue Bags : Weekday Wear Link Up

For today's Weekday Wear Link Up, another couple of loosely connected outfits - both are blue and yellow and feature kimonos, denim, Converse and blue bags.

What I wore:

blue printed kimono yellow tank distressed denim skirt chloe paraty bag converse | awayfromblue

Chloe periwinkle small Paraty denim skirt | awayfromtheblue

JacketCotton On Alana Wanderlust kimono in floral mood indigo
Necklace: Kmart navy and gold beaded tassel necklace
Top: Jeanswest Maya gather back tank in chartreuse
Skirt: JayJays distressed denim mini skirt
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star coast blue
Bracelets: the usual
BagChloe periwinkle small Paraty

Why I wore it:

Wore this for a quiet day with the kids - our regular library run for more books, and a little time playing at the playground too. I was surprised to realise that I hadn't worn this yellow tank with this blue printed kimono before! Blue and yellow is a combination I enjoy wearing. It was a warm day so a tank and kimono was a good choice with the denim skirt.

Added even more blue with the periwinkle blue Chloe Paraty bag and the blue Converse. None of the shades match but I find all shades of blue go with each other!

Last worn: blue printed kimono, mustard yellow tank, navy beaded necklace, distressed denim skirt, Converse, Chloe small Paraty bag.

Other ways to wearblue printed kimono and pink shorts, mustard yellow tank and printed culottes, distressed denim skirt and leopard print tee, Converse and midi skirt, Chloe small Paraty bag.

My Blue Handbag Collection:

What I wore:

cpnverse denim shorts metallic tank and yellow printed kimono with luna blue edie shoulder bag | awayfromblue

yellow printed kimono with Rebecca Minkoff Edie regular shoulder bag in Luna blue | awayfromblue

Jacket: Jeanswest Eliza summer poncho in yellow floral
Necklace: thrifted blue statement beaded necklace
Top: Jeanswest Maji metallic tank in soft green and silver
Shorts: Jeanswest Trinity Bermuda denim shorts
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
Bracelets: the usual
BagRebecca Minkoff Edie regular shoulder bag in Luna blue

Why I wore it:

A very bright outfit! One of my friends remarked how bright I was looking - deliberately picked this to go surprise my kids at sports day at school. I figured they wouldn't miss me standing on the side lines in this yellow kimono! it added a nice burst of colour to this silver metallic tank too.

Just like the outfit above I went with denim again - these Bermuda denim shorts are a staple every summer. Added more blue with the beaded statement necklace and the Rebecca Minkoff Edie shoulder bag. My Converse were a comfortable choice too although I did regret them a little - no problems with the school run or working from home, but when I made it to sports day the ground was still very very wet and muddy from the floods and I ended up squelching in a few puddles, ugh! Maybe gumboots would have been a better choice!

Last worn: yellow printed kimono, silver tank, blue beaded necklace, Bermuda denim shorts, black Converse, Rebecca Minkoff Edie shoulder bag.

Other ways to wearyellow printed kimono and olive shorts, silver tank and denim skirt, Bermuda denim shorts worn 30 ways, black Converse and stripesRebecca Minkoff Edie shoulder bag and floral dress.

Perfect for pregnancyConverse in second trimester.

How You Can Wear It:

Blue and yellow is a nice combination together - blue accessories work well when you have any pieces of yellow in your outfit, like the yellow tank in the first outfit or the yellow kimono in the second outfit.

Denim Shorts, Camis, and Kimonos With Rebecca Minkoff Tote Bag

Wearing two H&M camis with denim and kimonos for some easy summer outfits. The camis and outfits themselves are different although both feature florals, denim, and a staple kimono for extra shoulder coverage, as well as my Rebecca Minkoff unlined tote bag.

What I wore:

black leather tote with Bermuda denim shorts mint cami and tropical floral print duster kimono outfit | awayfromblue

floral duster, Rebecca Minkoff medium unlined tote in black with shellac studded dome hardware | awayfromtheblue

Jacket: Jeanswest Melanie floral kimono
Necklace: Kmart black and gold double strand beaded necklace (Christmas gift)
Cami: H&M mint v-neck cami
Shorts: Jeanswest Heather Bermuda short in black
Shoesthrifted Adidas Superstar sneakers
BagRebecca Minkoff medium unlined tote in black with shellac studded dome hardware

Why I wore it:

Wore this to enjoy a public holiday with the family back at the end of January. We headed yet again to another playground with a bike track for the kids to enjoy. With the high Covid cases in Brisbane after they opened the borders and removed the need for people to quarantine before entering the state, we've been preferring outdoor activities with lots of open spaces. I wasn't too sure if the park would be busy for the day off, but the cloudy day and frequent showers kept it quiet. It was a strange morning, very humid and cloudy, but once the first rain shower arrived it started to cool off.

This cute tropical floral print duster was a great topper over the mint cami and black Bermuda denim shorts outfit. I think it would have been too chilly without it. Luckily the rain was just a light drizzle for a few minutes every now and then so didn't stop the kids having fun, but eventually we had enough of it and headed home. In good timing too as the rain seemed to set in for a bit and get heavier after lunch time.

It was good to give this pretty black beaded necklace a wear - a Christmas gift that I hadn't gotten around to wearing yet as I got a few necklaces for Christmas. I thought it worked nicely with the black denim shorts and the black Rebecca Minkoff unlined tote bag, as well as matching the stripes on the Adidas Superstar sneakers. I do love a bit of matchy-matchy!

Last worn: floral print duster, mint camiblack Bermuda denim shorts, Adidas Superstar, Rebecca Minkoff unlined tote. First time I've worn the black and gold double strand bead necklace as it was a Christmas gift.

Other ways to wearfloral print duster and jeans, mint cami with blue, black Bermuda denim shorts and a shirt dress, Adidas Superstar and floral dress, Rebecca Minkoff unlined tote and maxi skirt.

Rebecca Minkoff Bags I Got For Christmas:

What I wore:

Bermuda denim shorts, converse, pink kimono and H&M floral button detail knot front cami with black tote bag | awayfromtheblue

Rebecca Minkoff medium unlined tote in black with shellac studded dome hardware with jeanswest polly kimono in dusty pink

Jacket: Jeanswest Polly kimono in dusty pink
Necklace: personalised gold children's names charm necklace
Cami: H&M blue floral crinkle knot front button down cami
Shorts: Jeanswest Trinity Bermuda denim shorts
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in white
BagRebecca Minkoff medium unlined tote in black with shellac studded dome hardware

Why I wore it:

This was such an easy outfit for another summer holiday playdate. This outfit is basically following the same formula as the last time I wore this cami, just with different coloured shorts, kimono and bag!

For a super hot day this light crinkle floral knot front cami was perfect, but I still wanted a little more sun coverage on my arms as it just has spaghetti straps, so I added this pretty blush kimono mum got me for Christmas. With the knot front this cami can feel a little short, even on my petite self, so I paired it with these high waisted Bermuda denim shorts. And comfortable Converse for running around in the playground with the kids.

I carried my big Rebecca Minkoff unlined tote bag but it wasn't really overly stuffed as I had a big green tote with a picnic blanket and some snacks for all the kids at the playdate. Despite the heat we ended up spending a lot of time at the park, which the kids loved, as I was having a great time chatting to my friend.

How You Can Wear It:

A cami and denim shorts is a nice outfit for a hot day, but for a little extra sun coverage for your shoulders, add a kimono on top! If you've got a plain cami you can go with a printed kimono, or for a printed cami try a block colour kimono like I have in the second outfit.
