Kmart Fuchsia Pink Dresses, Converse And Rebecca Minkoff Love Too Bag

Enjoying spring office dressing, wearing these two Kmart fuchsia pink dresses that are perfect for my very casual business casual office. I accessorised both these pink dresses with my little Rebecca Minkoff deep teal croc embossed Love Too bag.

Why I wore it:

This linen dress is such a firm favourite, and such a lucky opshop find. Every time I wear it it makes me happy! I love the colour and on this particularly warm spring day the linen was perfect for the heat on the commute and kept me cool rushing to school drop off and pick up too. I liked the bright tassel necklace against the fuchsia backdrop of this dress, and added more colour with the deep teal Love Too bag. Wearing Converse again, they are so practical for the commute and supportive for my weakened knee.

Why I wore it:

After a run of very summer like temps, it actually cooled off a little to be more spring-like so I took the opportunity to wear a scarf with this dress. This navy grid print scarf is an opshop find and although it's a very different shade of blue from the Love Too bag I liked both accessories together against the pink dress.

The only downside to this outfit was that I wished I'd layered a little more. I'd planned this outfit the night before and on waking up to a cooler morning though the scarf would be enough of an addition to keep me warm. It was much colder than I expected after all those warm days and I wished I'd added a jacket to this. Thankfully was nice and warm in the office, and wasn't too cold on the commute home.

Coral Dresses, Blue Scarves and Leather Jackets

Two very similar outfits for winter office days - colourful coral dresses with black leather jackets, bright blue scarves and my Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag.

Why I wore it:

I really liked this outfit! It was a colder day but with a slip under this dress, my cosy cobalt scarf and the thick leather jacket on top I didn't feel too cold from having my bare ankles popping out from under the dress. By the time I was back from the office and picking the kids up from school I was even warm enough to take the jacket off. Definitely appreciated and needed it on the cold morning commute though!

With the bright coral tiered midi dress I knew this blue scarf would look great. The deep teal Love Too bag is a different shade of blue with this outfit but I think it really worked with this colourful dress. I loved this outfit, colourful for a colder winter day.

Why I wore it:

This outfit I did not love as much as the one above. Very similar with a slip under a midi dress, a warm black leather jacket, sneakers and a cosy blanket scarf. This Louis Vuitton shawl is one of the warmest scarves I have. However I didn't really think this outfit through. I like this dress for work, I've worn it a few times, and the midi dress and leather jacket and cosy scarf combination worked well for the first outfit above.

With this midi dress being a wrap dress though, walking through the city in the morning to get into the office I realised the error of my ways as the wrap dress opens a little at the base as you walk, which left a lot more of my legs exposed to the cold than in the outfit above. I was glad to get into the heated office, and will be keeping this dress only for warmer days!

Black Jeans, Collarless Jackets and Love Too Bag

Dressing up jeans and a tee outfits for the office by adding these two collarless jackets on top of black skinny jeans.

Why I wore it:

This boucle collarless jacket is a really thick fabric so it seemed like a good choice for a winter workday. While jeans and a tee is a staple in my business casual office, I feel adding a jacket or blazer on top like this helps make it look a little more formal.

I really liked the pale coral tee with all the black in this outfit too, it was a nice way to add some colour without being too bold. I liked the extra little colour from the deep teal Rebecca Minkoff Love bag too, which works well with both the lighter tee and all the black in the rest of my outfit.

Why I wore it:

This was a busy day! My son had a sports day at school so I spent some time in the morning after drop off watching him compete, then travelled into the office a little later. I thought that this silk Diane Von Furstenberg jacket would be good as I wasn't expecting it to be too cold sitting on the side lines of the oval on a sunny morning. It was a little chilly though and I regretted not adding a scarf to this outfit!

Last time I wore this jacket I had a hard time picking a necklace, so I decided to just wear this pretty sparkly tee, although the sparkle never shows up in photos. I added the statement earrings instead of a necklace and I really liked this combination, even if it was not quite warm enough for the day.

Green and Black Outfits With Love Too Bag

While it's officially winter now in Brisbane, I still have some autumn outfits I wore that I haven't posted yet, like this printed shorts outfit I actually wore back in April! Both it and the second outfit are made up of green and black.

Why I wore it:

I really like this combination of a green piece in my outfit with the deep teal Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag and the chunky green, navy and black geometric bead statement necklace. It's an outfit combination I've worn a few times. This is the first time I've worn the green tee with these black printed shorts though. I also liked this pairing.

Just needed something practical and comfortable to wear for a day of working at home with a break in the afternoon for a physio appointment. As it was back in April and a warm autumn, shorts and tee was perfect.

Why I wore it:

Another autumn outfit, but you can definitely tell it's cooler here! Again it's a black and green outfit, with the black zip detail skinny jeans, and a green floral duster. I wore my little Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag with this again as well. I really like wearing this teal bag with greens!

It's not the first time I've worn this green floral duster with navy either, I really like pairing navy tops with it. I thrifted this tee a while back and it has a beautiful metallic thread weaved through it that sadly just doesn't show up in photos. I really like it in person though, feels a little more special than a plain navy tee with that sparkle.

Jeans and a tee is always a good idea for a working from home day when I'm also doing the school run, and we had sports in the evening too.

Yellow Tees and Navy Pencil Skirts With Love Too Bag

I felt that a lot of my office outfits had been neutrals recently, so decided to add a little more colour and a bit less black but wearing both of these blue textured pencil skirts with cheerful yellow tees!

Why I wore it:

It was a chilly start to the morning - autumn is truly starting to show up in Brisbane, with winter just a couple of weeks away! So I needed to add a blazer to this. I really like this mango yellow tee with the navy jacquard pencil skirt, and the deep teal Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag. Blue and yellow look good together in any shade combination.

The black ankle boots were good for extra warmth and a little bit of matchy-matchy with the black jacquard wave on the pencil skirt. So with the cobalt blue blazer on top I added the little cobalt wrap bracelet too for more matchy-matchy. I really liked this outfit! Good for a cold autumn commute to the office.

It was a quite office day without too many team members in, so I got away with a simple tee and pencil skirt outfit without having to make it more formal with a blazer on top. I probably should have added a blazer to this as well though, it was a little cooler in the morning than I expected! Luckily it had warmed up enough in the afternoon for the commute home. 

This navy lace pencil skirt is a firm favourite and one I've already hit 30 wears with some time ago. I liked the bright mustard yellow tee with it, and added another shade of blue with the Converse sneakers and navy beaded necklace. I decided to wear a neutral bag with this, with the tee being bright enough. this little Rebecca Minkoff MAB camera bag goes with everything.

Midi Skirts and Tank Tops With Love Too Bag

I've worn these midi skirts to the office a few times, but decided to wear them with simple tanks for working from home days recently.

Why I wore it:

I really liked all of the blues in this outfit, with the deep teal Rebecca Minkoff Love bag always photographing so navy, and the light blue linen skirt and the navy ribbed tank. I felt like I needed a little extra colour with this when I put it all together though, the thrifted chartreuse necklace was the perfect pop of colour. With it and the tan slides I didn't feel like this outfit was too monochromatic. I really liked it!

Was nice and comfortable for the school run, working from home and having a tradie over at the house in the middle of the day. While the morning was a little chilly it was nice to have bare arms and legs for a bit, it's a lot cooler in Brisbane now than it was when I wore this!

Why I wore it:

I'd planned this outfit in advance, after liking the one above so much! Again it was a plain tank (this silver one I've had for a while and I'm nearly at 30 wears with) and this pretty green broderie anglaise midi skirt. I didn't like this outfit so much last time I wore this skirt, when I wore it with a printed tank, so I knew the simple block colour tank would be something I'd enjoy better.

I added the navy necklace to compliment the deep blue undertone in the Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag, and Converse are always a practical and comfortable choice. The weather wasn't quite as expected though, it was a lot more autumn like than the day I wore the first outfit, so while it was okay working from home, I ended up adding a denim jacket over this when I was out for the school run and a couple of errands before school pick up and sports in the evening.

Metallic Gold Tee Worn 2 Ways

I bought this gold linen tee at the outlets recently - I couldn't pass by how shiny it was, and for just $10! I'm finding it a little tricker to style than I first thought. I figured with metallic being a neutral it would work with everything, but so far I've just worn it with pink and blue.

Why I wore it:

Thought I'd pair this tee with my pink polka dot pencil skirt for its first wear. I like tees and pencil skirts for office wear, it works in my casual office. I felt the metallic tee and the pale pastel pink polka dot pencil skirt seemed a little washed out, even with the black Converse, so I added some brighter turquoise accessories.

The matchy-matchy of the turquoise Balenciaga first bag and the turquoise and gold tassel necklace made me smile. I always love a bit of matchy-matchy!

Why I wore it:

Another trip into the office for this metallic gold tee! This time, while I wore it again with pink, I covered it up a bit more with the blazer. Both the pink jeans and the cobalt blue blazer are recent opshop finds, as are the white leather Converse. I added a little more pink with the neutral wood and blush necklace, but I think a bolder necklace would have worked better here, it got lost in the tee a bit.

The pink jeans and cobalt blue blazer certainly added enough colour to make up for the lack of brightness in the necklace though, and I really liked this outfit! While the deep teal Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag doesn't match any of the other colours in my outfit, I've been wearing this bag a lot recent and think that - just like it does in this outfit - it goes with so much.

Two blue and green outfits, both with black denim, and different shades of blue and green. I like blue and green together, and this deep teal Rebecca Minkoff Love bag works with both blue and green so well!

Why I wore it:

Not sure why I haven't worn this turquoise tank with the turquoise and green tassel hem cover up before - it's a good match! Felt nice and colourful for a warm weekend day where we had a couple of playdates. I wore my little Rebecca Minkoff deep teal Love Too bag again, I like it with black and I think it looked good with the lighter blues and greens in the cover up. While it is a true deep teal in person it definitely looked more navy against the bright turquoise, so the navy and gold beaded necklace was a nice way to look a little more matchy-matchy too.

This outfit made my matchy-matchy self really happy!

Why I wore it:

This was a very busy day, with trying to cram in a few hours of work in the morning before heading to a sports session in a local park in the afternoon with the kids. Things were so busy at work I got caught up and was nearly late, but luckily they were running a little behind at the park so it wasn't too bad. The kids had a great time too!

As it was a cooler morning I got these jeans out for a wear - Mum got them for me for Christmas on our opshopping day, and this is their first wear. While they do look similar in the photos to the other pair of faded black Jeanswest jeans I won, they are very different in person, with zip detail hems and zip detail pockets. I tried to tuck the tank in enough so that you could see the zips in the photo, but it didn't really work. Tucking the tank in also didn't disguise the fact that I'd not ironed this tank as much as I thought it would!

With the navy tank I added more colour and a bit of shoulder coverage for the sun in the afternoon with this green floral duster, that is a favourite of mine to wear with navy!

Making easy office outfits with black tops and textured pencil skirts. Despite the different coloured skirts in both outfits, I accessorised with my deep teal Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag which has certainly been getting a lot of love lately!

Why I wore it:

With the lace bib detail on this tank I always have a heard time trying to pick a necklace to wear with it! I settled on statement earrings this time, these gold and pink ones, while not the same shade of pastel pink as the pencil skirt, I thought still complimented my outfit nicely.

This pink polka dot pencil skirt is one I have been reaching for a lot - it's easy to wear with Converse for an office outfit that doesn't require a lot of planning. With the black textured polka dots on the mesh top layer, any black top works well with it! Although I have a few black tops I could pick from, this is the second time I've worn this tip and skirt together, I added a blazer on top last time I wore the combination.

Why I wore it:

This plain black tee is usually not one I struggle picking a necklace with, as it doesn't have the extra detail at the neckline like the tank in the first outfit. I still couldn't pick a nice necklace in the morning when trying to get ready - in the end I went with this silver one that hadn't been worn in a while, even if I did worry it looked a little more formal than the plain black tee suggested.

Much like the pencil skirt in the first outfit, I find I wear this one with a lot of black, with the black jacquard weave making the choice of top simple and making any black option a nice matchy-matchy choice. I also really like the navy background with the deep teal Love Too bag. The blue Converse sneakers were a third shade of blue with this outfit, but I feel they really go with everything!
