What I wore:
Necklace: thrifted pearl and heart charm long necklace
Top: Jeanswest 'Maria' cami in cream
Skirt: Ally Fashion blue border print floral maxi skirt
Shoes: Wittner 'Jasmarie' studded sandals
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Love Too in deep teal croc embossed leather
Why I wore it:
With the pleated ruffle cami and the silky maxi skirt this outfit felt a little overdressed for a quiet Monday. We had the school run, sports and a playdate. I thought the cream cami was so nice with this floral print maxi skirt though, I was eager to pair the two together. It has been a while since this ruffle cami was last worn too, definitely deserved another outing!
The necklace helped dress this outfit up more as well I felt, especially with the teal tassel earrings too. I thought they were a great match for the deep teal Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag. Even if it was a little dressier than my usual outfits, and a bit more dressed up than the day needed, I really liked this outfit.
Last worn: ruffle cami, teal tassel earrings, heart charm necklace, floral maxi skirt, studded sandals, Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag.
Other ways to wear: ruffle cami and printed jeans, floral maxi skirt and pink tee, studded sandals and maxi dress, Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag and denim.
Perfect for pregnancy: ruffle cami in second trimester, studded sandals in third trimester.

Unboxing Rebecca Minkoff Love Too Bag
What I wore:
Necklace: Kmart gold and navy beaded necklace
Cami: H&M mint v-neck cami
Skirt: Target navy side split maxi skirt
Shoes: Wittner 'Jasmarie' studded sandals
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Love Too in deep teal croc embossed leather
Why I wore it:
The casual jersey material of this maxi skirt made it feel a little more dressed down than the outfit above. I love this mint cami with blue and you can't go wrong with stripes, it looks great with the navy striped maxi skirt. Added the navy beaded necklace for a little matchy-matchy too.
Not the first time I've worn this cami and the teal bag together either, I really like the combination. Although once again I found myself wishing I'd tucked this cami in when I look back at the photos! I thought that last time I wore it too.
Just like the first outfit above, I went with simple studded sandals again. After the school run we had a couple errands to do and then we spent a bit of time at our favourite library again before school pick up in the afternoon.

How You Can Wear It:
A simple cami is a nice combination with a more casual maxi skirt - no matter what colour combinations you choose. You can't go wrong with a plain block colour cami and a printed skirt.
That bag is gorgeous, love the way you portray blue as a versatile, wearable color, I never regarded it that way! You make blue look more gorgeous than ever before. <3

Thanks! It's a great bag, and blue is my favourite colour, it goes with so much! :)
DeleteI love the first cami, but you are right, it looks a little dressier.
ReplyDeleteTwo lovely outfits, Mica, but my favourite is the first one! That ruffled cami is delicious and I'm swooning over that maxi skirt. You really don't need a special occasion to dress up in my book! The Rebecca Minkoff handbag is gorgeous too, what a wonderful colour and texture! Have a great weekend Mica! xxx
ReplyDeleteSo true - I need to just dress up for no reason more often! :)

Mica, these are such pretty, feminine outfits. I LOVE the first one - that gentle ruffle is just so nice on you. I see what you mean about the second one - a similar "French tuck" would take care of that waistline situation.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely bag - such a classic shape. Have a great weekend, my friend!
Yes I really need to tuck this cami in more! I always wear it untucked and never quite like the outfits, being petite a front tuck works better for me!
DeleteI love how the colors complement each other perfectly in your second outfit! That first skirt is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteIt really is such a pretty skirt! My mum gave me it :)
DeleteI do like maxi skirts. You look comfortable.
