Green and Blue Jeans and Tee Outfits

I really like wearing green and blue together. Both these jeans and tee outfits feature blue and green together in different shades, and I like the colour combinations in each outfit. 

What I wore:

Jacket: Cotton On Alana Wanderlust kimono in floral mood indigo
Necklace: Kmart gold and navy beaded necklace
Tee: thrifted Cotton On The one crew tee in green
Jeans: Jeanswest black skinny jeans with zipper detail
Shoes: thrifted Anko Kmart black strappy sandals
Bracelets: the usual plus jade beads and Roie Designs bracelets
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff emerald green mini 5-zip rocker bag

Why I wore it:

Jeans and a tee has become a staple for me while working from home this spring! I liked the printed cover up on top of the green tee, it adds a little interest when on a video call. With the blue printed cover up against the green tee I added the navy and gold necklace for an extra contrast. Doesn't match the blue in the print at all but I liked the different shades of blue in this outfit.

Added more green as well with the green Rebecca Minkoff mini 5-zip bag. Like the necklace and cover up, the shade doesn't match the tee, but again I liked both shades in this outfit.

Kept the rest simple with my black jeans and black strappy sandals, for doing the school run in the morning and evening.

Why I wore it:

Another school run and working from home outfit, with sports in the evening after school. The navy beaded necklace is more of a match with the navy chevron print cover up. I tried to match the turquoise in the print with the Balenciaga first bag, although I'm not sure the print shows that turquoise so well in the photos. It still made my matchy-matchy self happy though!

These olive green jeans were due another wear, they are a pair I've exceeded 30 wears with and I have worn them a lot with grey tees, although it's the first time I've worn them with this tee. Wore the same black strappy sandals as I did in the outfit above, they are very comfortable.

Green and Black Outfits With Love Too Bag

While it's officially winter now in Brisbane, I still have some autumn outfits I wore that I haven't posted yet, like this printed shorts outfit I actually wore back in April! Both it and the second outfit are made up of green and black.

What I wore:

Necklace: thrifted wooden geometric bead necklace
Tee: thrifted Cotton On The one crew tee in green
Shorts: Jeanswest Parker printed shirred short
Shoes: New Balance Coast women's running shoe in black 
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Love Too in deep teal croc embossed leather

Why I wore it:

I really like this combination of a green piece in my outfit with the deep teal Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag and the chunky green, navy and black geometric bead statement necklace. It's an outfit combination I've worn a few times. This is the first time I've worn the green tee with these black printed shorts though. I also liked this pairing.

Just needed something practical and comfortable to wear for a day of working at home with a break in the afternoon for a physio appointment. As it was back in April and a warm autumn, shorts and tee was perfect.

Why I wore it:

Another autumn outfit, but you can definitely tell it's cooler here! Again it's a black and green outfit, with the black zip detail skinny jeans, and a green floral duster. I wore my little Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag with this again as well. I really like wearing this teal bag with greens!

It's not the first time I've worn this green floral duster with navy either, I really like pairing navy tops with it. I thrifted this tee a while back and it has a beautiful metallic thread weaved through it that sadly just doesn't show up in photos. I really like it in person though, feels a little more special than a plain navy tee with that sparkle.

Jeans and a tee is always a good idea for a working from home day when I'm also doing the school run, and we had sports in the evening too.

Blue And Green Shorts Tee Duster Outfits

I really like wearing blue and green together! I definitely don't agree with the "blue and green should never be seen" saying! Both these shorts and tee outfits feature different shades of blue and green together.

Why I wore it:

This was a really fun day! We headed out to join in a science walk for Brisbane's Big Butterfly Count. The kids had a great time running around with their nets catching and identifying a bunch of different insects. We caught a few dragonflies along with the butterflies, and it was so interesting learning about them from the entomologist that joined us. Although I'm sure that we double caught some butterflies a few times, as the kids kept running backwards and forwards and as soon as one was released someone else was on its tail!

Needed a good practical outfit for a bush walk on a warm day, shorts and tee and sneakers were perfect. This black tee and denim Bermuda shorts felt a bit plain, even with the yellow necklace adding a little colour. So I added the green floral duster on top. Good for extra sun coverage and a little more colour. The cobalt Rebecca Minkoff Julian bag really pops against the green duster, and it was a good size for carrying all our water bottles.

Why I wore it:

I had a shorter work day, just working from home, because as well as the school run I had an appointment in the afternoon. Even had time for a super quick browse of my local opshop before picking up the kids.

Just like in the outfit above, I wanted to be comfortable. I haven't worn these olive embroidered shorts for a while but they are such a great piece as olive goes with so much. I really liked the navy tee with them, and then I added more green and blue with the brighter palm print cover up. I added yet another shade of blue with the electric blue Rebecca Minkoff 5 zip bag also. I liked all these different shades of blue and green together.
