Shoes: Marc by Marc Jacobs two tone flats in blush and black
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Love cross body bag in grey
Why I wore it:
This is a little more dressed up than I'd normally get for working from home and doing daycare drop off / pick up, but we had an evening out planned to have dinner with a friend so I put a little more effort in.I was trying on a few different jackets in the morning, trying to find a nice one that would work with this, when i saw this little lightweight one. I'm pleased it's getting warmer in Brisbane so I can start wearing things like this again. I've really been looking forward to spring!
Last worn: Ray-Ban Wayfarers, white blazer, black blouson tank, pink leopard print jeans, cap toe flats, Rebecca Minkoff Love bag.
Other ways to wear: white blazer belted over a baby bump, blouson tank and a lace pencil skirt, pink leopard print jeans in winter, cap toe flats and a wrap dress, Rebecca Minkoff Love bag and maxi dresses.

Tank: Zalora basics ruffle hem tank in black
Jeans: Emerson red skinny jeans
Shoes: Walnut Melbourne 'Ava' black lizard ballet flats
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Love cross body bag in grey
Why I wore it:
I was in such a rush on this morning, and already late, so you get a quick pic with my little fluffy and not so fluffy children photobombing! It's impossible to keep toddler T still, but most of the time he likes to run around behind the tripod. I usually manage to grab a photo without him in the frame for the blog, but didn't have time to take a few shots this time.As this peplum tank is sleeveless, I added the cardigan to keep me warm, but ended up taking it off later in the day as it was a gloriously warm spring day.
Last worn: grey cardi, black peplum tank, red skinny jeans, black ballet flats, Rebecca Minkoff Love bag (above).
Other ways to wear: grey cardi and a printed dress, peplum tank worn tucked in with a skirt, red skinny jeans and a printed cami, ballet flats and maxi skirts, Rebecca Minkoff love bag and a little black dress.

I love those pink jeans of yours. I never think jeans are interesting enough in terms of colour and pattern (but these certainy are!). I don't think I've ever noticed jeans in Portmans before...of course you can never go wrong with Marc Jacobs flats either.
ReplyDeleteYeah Portmans isn't the first place I think of when I think of denim, but these are perfect !I've been really impressed with them :)
DeleteThose patterned skinny jeans are amazing! I really like the print of them and by keeping the rest of the outfit black and white, you really kept their statement status...I did love this first look.
ReplyDeleteThe second outfit is also lovely....I do like those red jeans...and how cute is your toddler photobombing this shot. You look fantastic!
Thanks Ivanna! It's nice to wear some brighter denim now and then :)
DeleteI love pink jeans, what a fun look

I need more colorful skinny jeans especially a true red pair. Love those pink leopard skinnies, so much. They would be perfect to link with the pink-themed linkup I have on currently. Thanks. =)

I just ADORE those pink pants on you, girl! Also that circle necklace is precious.
ReplyDeleteAgain, congrats! Though I totally knew months ago. (; It was back when you did no buy July when you bought that blue Target top. I looked at Joshua, showed him the pic, and said "Mica is totally pregnant." He looked so confused and said "she's tiny! How do you know?" I still have no idea, I just knew. haha. Super human mom powers? haha
ReplyDeleteI love peplum everything. I have a large bust and very small behind. Peplum gives the illusion that I'm proportionate. Sadly peplum is actually hard to find here. Isn't that weird. ?? I also love me some colorful jeans. I like that I can getaway with them at the office without looking too casual. They are so functional!
haha definitely super mum powers! We didn't even know when I took that pic! :)
DeleteI found peplum was huge here a while ago now it seems to be harder to find - was definitely easier when it was the 'trendy' thing. Very flattering, especially for a little bit of starting-to-show baby belly! ;)
your pink pants are really cute!

These printed pants are so great, especially for a change up in style form the regular denim. I also really like the second outfit with the red pants very much. I love grey, and this cardigan would be a perfect versatile piece for me. <3

Always love seeing when you rock the bold pants! While your gold metallic ones will always be my top fave, these rich red pair are probably my second favorite from your closet. Haha, great styling!

I actually really like that your kid & the dog are both in the photo, that's how life truly is. Busy and not everything is always "perfect" looking, unlike a ton of other fashion bloggers I see. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but your photos are just a lot more real! If that made any sense at all haha
ReplyDeleteN- Naomi in Wonderland
haha yes, life is rarely perfect! :) I prefer the 'realer' photos and blogs too, I know exactly what you mean :)
DeleteWow i love your bag :)

Oh wow, your baby is solo big Mica, he is a little boy now :)
ReplyDeleteI think the grey+black+red assemble works beautifully.
He is! Crazy how fast he's grown!
DeleteI really like those pink jeans. I'd have absolutely no idea what to do with them but you make them look great :) Also love the toddler T and Cooper photobombs, with you serene inamongst them charging about!
ReplyDeletehaha I was like 'just one good photo, just one good photo' as the chaos reigns!
DeleteI tend to play it really safe with these jeans - I think this black top is the first time I've worn them with anything other than grey, haha!
The photos of T and your dog are so sweet. I love photos like that - just caught in the moment of real life. The first pair is such a great print and I love the colour of the second pair. Perfect for Spring.
ReplyDeleteA photo always tells such a story when it's caught in the moment doesn't it? :)
DeleteThe first pants are so cool! Wanna have the same print on clothes, it looks so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI like the pink leopard jeans, they look so pretty! T is photobombing :) It actually turned out pretty good :)
