What I wore:
Necklace: thrifted gold large double circle necklace
Tee: Jeanswest Ruby frill sleeve Ric Rac detailed tee in deep iris
Jeans: Sass & Bide The Winning Day Lovestate jeans in magenta
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star low in white
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Mini 5 zip in pink iris with gold hardware
Why I wore it:
This was a busy day! I had a couple of quick errands to run in the morning before working from home for a few hours, a trip to the library and playground with the kids in the afternoon, before dinner and sports in the evening. I knew I wasn't going to have to layer up too much as all the running around would keep me warm! It was the perfect opportunity to give this navy tie dye kimono another wear.I really like these magenta jeans with navy, and so I thought this navy tee would be a good pairing. It does have some fun fluted sleeves which unfortunately were covered up by the kimono though - felt like a bit of a waste hiding the cute sleeves of the tee under the kimono! The block navy colour was perfect with the tie dye print and magenta pink of the jeans though. Added the gold necklace to match the little gold hardware on the Rebecca Minkoff mini 5 zip bag.
Last worn: tie dye kimono, navy tee, gold circle necklace, magenta jeans, white Converse All Star, pink mini 5 zip bag.
Other ways to wear: tie dye kimono and shorts, navy tee and maxi skirt, magenta jeans and leather jacket, white Converse All Star and midi skirt, pink mini 5 zip bag and denim skirt.
What I wore:
Necklace: rose gold and turquoise beaded necklace
Top: Jeanswest black scoop neck tee
Jeans: Jeanswest Harper skinny pant in Russet
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff mini MAC in aquamarine with python embossed leather (get it in pink)
Why I wore it:
Although this was a wet day it was still pretty warm! We were lucky to miss most of the rain in the morning, as it didn't start raining heavily until I had dropped the kids off at their holiday program, and it wasn't raining in the afternoon. Was another busy day as I had to work from home while the kids were out. My mum came over in the afternoon too.Kept it simple - surprisingly despite the burgundy jeans pairing so nicely with the red florals in the print of this duster I haven't worn them together frequently! I thought the plain black tee was a good basic piece, and to stop the outfit being too dark I added some turquoise accessories with the beaded necklace and the little Rebecca Minkoff mini MAC bag.
Last worn: tropical floral print duster, turquoise beaded necklace, black tee, burgundy jeans, Converse, Rebecca Minkoff aqua mini MAC.
Other ways to wear: tropical floral print duster and chambray dress, black tee and shorts, burgundy jeans and stripe tee, Converse and dress, Rebecca Minkoff aqua mini MAC and culottes.
Perfect for pregnancy: Converse in second trimester, mini MAC and non-maternity clothes in third trimester.

How You Can Wear It:
A staple jeans and tee outfit is perfect for working from home, and you can make it even more colourful with different denim instead of classic blue, and add a kimono on top.
