Blue And Green Shorts Tee Duster Outfits

I really like wearing blue and green together! I definitely don't agree with the "blue and green should never be seen" saying! Both these shorts and tee outfits feature different shades of blue and green together.

What I wore:

Jacket: Jeanswest Delilah long line kimono in green floral
Necklace: thrifted yellow beaded statement pendant long necklace
Tee: black textured crew neck tee
Shorts: Jeanswest Trinity Bermuda denim shorts
ShoesSketchers Bountiful navy fabric sneakers
Bracelets: the usual
BagRebecca Minkoff Julian nylon backpack in bright blue

Why I wore it:

This was a really fun day! We headed out to join in a science walk for Brisbane's Big Butterfly Count. The kids had a great time running around with their nets catching and identifying a bunch of different insects. We caught a few dragonflies along with the butterflies, and it was so interesting learning about them from the entomologist that joined us. Although I'm sure that we double caught some butterflies a few times, as the kids kept running backwards and forwards and as soon as one was released someone else was on its tail!

Needed a good practical outfit for a bush walk on a warm day, shorts and tee and sneakers were perfect. This black tee and denim Bermuda shorts felt a bit plain, even with the yellow necklace adding a little colour. So I added the green floral duster on top. Good for extra sun coverage and a little more colour. The cobalt Rebecca Minkoff Julian bag really pops against the green duster, and it was a good size for carrying all our water bottles.

Last worn: green floral duster, black textured tee, yellow necklace, Bermuda denim shorts, Sketchers, Rebecca Minkoff Julian nylon backpack.

Other ways to weargreen floral duster and dress, black textured tee and printed shorts, Bermuda denim shorts worn 30 ways, Sketchers and sundress, Rebecca Minkoff Julian nylon backpack and jeans.

What I wore:

Jacket: thrifted no label tropical print tassel cover up
Necklace: thrifted pearl and heart charm long necklace
TeeAtmos & Here Avery marle tee in navy
Shorts: Jeanswest Tessa olive embroidered shorts
Shoes: Kmart tan crossover slides
Bracelets: the usual
Bagvintage original Rebecca Minkoff 5-zip in faded electric blue

Why I wore it:

I had a shorter work day, just working from home, because as well as the school run I had an appointment in the afternoon. Even had time for a super quick browse of my local opshop before picking up the kids.

Just like in the outfit above, I wanted to be comfortable. I haven't worn these olive embroidered shorts for a while but they are such a great piece as olive goes with so much. I really liked the navy tee with them, and then I added more green and blue with the brighter palm print cover up. I added yet another shade of blue with the electric blue Rebecca Minkoff 5 zip bag also. I liked all these different shades of blue and green together.

Last worn: palm print cover up, heart charm necklace, navy tee, olive embroidered shorts, tan slides, Rebecca Minkoff electric blue 5 zip bag.

Other ways to wearpalm print cover up with yellow, navy tee and leopard print, olive embroidered shorts worn 30 ways, tan slides and maxi skirt, Rebecca Minkoff electric blue 5 zip bag with red.
