Green Floral Toppers Over White Tees and Jeans Outfits With Balenciaga Part Time Bag

For today's Weekday Wear Link Up, I'm sharing some green floral toppers over basic white tees and jeans outfits. Accessorising with my black Balenciaga part time bag, the green layers were the only pops of colour in my outfits.

What I wore:

Diane Von Furstenberg Gabrielle boxy floral jacket in garden green with white tee and jeans balenciaga part time bag | awayfromblue

Balenciaga part time in black 2010 with SGH | awayfromtheblue

Jacket: Diane Von Furstenberg Gabrielle boxy floral jacket in garden green (via Sheila's wardrobe)
Necklace: Kmart black and gold double strand beaded necklace
TeeAtmos & Here white essential v-neck tee
Jeans: thrifted Jeanswest faded black cropped butt lifter jeans
ShoesWalnut Melbourne 'Ava' black lizard ballet flats
Bracelets: the usual plus beaded black bracelet stack
BagBalenciaga part time in black 2010 with SGH

Why I wore it:

I got this beautiful Diane Von Furstenberg jacket from Sheila! She very kindly included it in the box when she sent my bag back to me with her gorgeous artwork on it. It was perfect timing as that day I had a reminder for an appointment the next day I'd forgotten about - this jacket felt like the perfect way to dress up my work from home jeans and tee outfit to make it appropriate for an appointment I needed to feel confident with. Totally copied Sheila and stuck with the black and white colours for my outfit, with the white tee, black skinny jeans, black ballet flats and even a black bag!

Perfect outfit for working from home, spending some time with my mum, and an appointment in the afternoon, although I still am not sure that was quite the right necklace for this outfit, I'd try a longer one next time.

Last worn: white tee, beaded necklace, faded black skinny jeans, black ballet flats, Balenciaga part time bag. First time I've worn this jacket as it was a recent gift from Sheila.

Other ways to wearwhite tee over maxi dress, faded black skinny jeans and black knit, black ballet flats and printed skirt, Balenciaga part time bag worn 30 ways.

Perfect for pregnancy: ballet flats in third trimester, Balenciaga part time bag in second trimester.

30 Ways To Wear A Black Balenciaga Part Time Bag:

What I wore:

green floral duster over white tee grey jeans black converse balenciaga part time bag outfit | awayfromblue

Jacket: Jeanswest Delilah long line kimono in green floral
Necklace: Roie Designs multi chain layered beaded necklace
TeeCotton On The One Deep V tee in marle nep white body black
JeansNobody Denim Cult high rise skinny ankle jeans in charred grey
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
Bracelets: the usual plus beaded black bracelet stack
BagBalenciaga part time in black 2010 with SGH

Why I wore it:

A much more casual outfit than the one above, although it follows an identical formula. Dark denim jeans, a white tee, and this lovely green floral print duster as a topper. Worn with Converse rather than ballet flats, but again I went with black accessories with a necklace I think really did work with this outfit, a beaded black bracelet stack, and my Balenciaga part time bag.

Just needed something simple and comfortable for a busy morning, with a little bit of driving to-and-fro as my son had a birthday party to attend. Thankfully the party was indoors with all the rain - although the little shower we did get caught in wasn't too kind to my hair!

How You Can Wear It:

With a classic black jeans and white tee outfit you can add a lot more colour and interest with a light layer like these green floral ones. A silk jacket, or floral duster, can be the perfect light layer for spring.

Jewel Tones Blouses With Skinny Jeans | Weekday Wear Link Up

Some business casual outfits with jewel toned blouses and skinny jeans for today's Weekday Wear Link up! Getting out an old office bag for another spin too, the Mulberry oak Bayswater.

What I wore:

navy macintosh with berry blouse black skinny jeans ballet flats winter outfit | awayfromblue

navy macintosh with Mulberry Bayswater in Oak NVT leather | awayfromtheblue

Jacket: Jeanswest Monica Mac coat in Indigo
Necklace: engraved interlinked silver circle family name necklace
TopJeanswest Frankie soft blouse in berry
JeansNobody Denim Siren skinny super high-rise jeans in power black denim (c/o)
ShoesWalnut Melbourne 'Ava' black lizard ballet flats
BagMulberry Bayswater in Oak NVT leather

Why I wore it:

I didn't wear this to the office, but it's something I totally would wear to work! As well as working from home and doing the school run I had an appointment that afternoon I was a little concerned about, so tried a version of power dressing. If I hadn't fallen down the stairs and twisted my ankle the day before, I would have pulled out a pair of confidence boosting heels too! I settled for more comfortable and practical ballet flats.

I thought the formal trench and classic black jeans, with a pretty berry blouse and the Bayswater tote looked like I meant business, to help me get into the right mindset for the appointment. The tote fit a notebook as well for the session, which didn't go as badly as I had feared! Even though it was warmer in the afternoon and I ended up leaving the jacket behind, I still felt very pulled together in this outfit.

Last worn: navy trench, silver necklace, berry blouse, Nobody Denim skinny jeans, black ballet flats, Mulberry Bayswater tote.

Other ways to wearnavy trench and pencil skirt, berry blouse and maxi skirt, Nobody Denim skinny jeans and kimono, black ballet flats and dress, Mulberry Bayswater tote in the office.

Perfect for pregnancyblack ballet flats in third trimester, Mulberry Bayswater tote in second trimester.

Mulberry Bayswater Wear & Tear:

What I wore:

Jacket: Jeanswest Cassandra jacquard jacket
NecklaceTiffany diamonds by the yard necklace and Tiffany & Co silver 5th Avenue notes heart pendant necklace
Blouse: Jeanswest Chana long sleeve stud top in night sky navy
Jeans: thrifted Jeanswest faded black cropped butt lifter jeans
Shoesthrifted Adidas Superstar sneakers
Bracelets: the usual
BagMulberry Bayswater in Oak NVT leather

Why I wore it:

This outfit does not translate as well in the photos as I felt wearing it! It's full of pieces I love, my favourite black skinny jeans, this navy studded blouse, and the fun jacquard jacket. Added the Adidas Superstar sneakers as I needed something comfortable for all the walking around - working in the office I get in much more steps than I do working from home! We did all go out and get something for lunch to bring back to the office and eat together too that involved a little walking.

As I'd used the Mulberry Bayswater tote in the outfit above, I figured it would be a good bag to take into the office. I did worry when I threw it on my shoulder that maybe with the silver jacket another bag would have worked better, but it's not that bad.

The jeans and blouse definitely look much too similar together though. I think if I'd gone with black jeans or grey jeans it would have been much better than this navy blouse with the faded black denim. I didn't feel that when wearing it, just when looking at these photos afterwards, so maybe just my poor photography skills!

Last worn: jacquard jacket, navy blouse, diamond necklace, Tiffany heart necklacefaded black jeans, Adidas Superstar sneakers, Mulberry Bayswater tote (above).

Other ways to wearjacquard jacket and little black dress, navy blouse and pencil skirt, faded black jeans and double denim, Adidas Superstar sneakers and midi dress, Mulberry Bayswater tote and wrap dress.

Perfect for pregnancyjacquard jacket in second trimester, Mulberry Bayswater tote in third trimester.

How You Can Wear It:

Pretty jewel toned blouses are a nice top to wear with skinny jeans. Just make sure you have enough contrast between the colour of the blouse and denim, unlike my second outfit!

Textured Jackets, Pink Tops, Blush Bag and Jeans | Weekday Wear Link Up

For today's Weekday Wear Link Up, two outfits I'd planned to wear in the office. It had been a while since I'd worn these textured jackets, they look so good with jeans! Unfortunately with all the winter viruses going around in Brisbane at the moment I had to cancel one of my planned office days and work from home instead, but I still wore one of the outfits I'd planned anyway. Thankfully I was able to go into the office to wear my other planned outfit the next week when everyone was feeling better.

What I wore:

berry top with blush darren bag, printed ballet flats, jeans and tweed jacket for office | awayfromblue

Rebecca Minkoff small Darren messenger bag in peony with black outfit | awayfromtheblue

Jacket: Jeanswest Dixie collarless jacket
Necklace: Kmart black and gold double strand beaded necklace
BlouseJeanswest Frankie soft blouse in berry
JeansNobody Denim Siren skinny super high-rise jeans in power black denim (c/o)
ShoesWalnut Melbourne Ava white leopard ballet flats
Bracelets: the usual
BagRebecca Minkoff small Darren messenger bag in peony (more affordable preowned!)

Why I wore it:

This is the outfit I actually got to wear in the office! I was pleased I'd picked this berry toned top with the long sleeves as it was super cold in this office! It was my first time working in that building. Because some team members have moved around a little I was going to be meeting some colleagues face to face for the first time, and others after only seeing them on screens for a while! So I thought it was a nice dressy outfit for this, but still not too formal with the jeans. Jeans were a 5 day a week thing pre-pandemic in my office but it's even more casual now! Was pleased I wasn't the only one wearing jeans but did realise my mistake when everyone started pulling on all of their winter coats and cardigans after lunch when the office aircon got even colder 😂 Next time I'm in that office I'll definitely pack a cardigan instead of this cute but not quite as cosy textured tweed cropped sleeve jacket!

Although the berry pink top is a very different shade from the blush pink Rebecca Minkoff Darren bag I think they worked nicely together, and I really liked this outfit. It was nice to wear something different from Converse with these cute printed ballet flats too! Converse has been a bit of a default lately.

Last worn: tweed jacket, beaded necklace, berry blouse, Nobody Denim jeans, printed ballet flats, Rebecca Minkoff Darren bag.

Other ways to weartweed jacket and pencil skirt, berry blouse and leather jacket, Nobody Denim jeans and orange tee, printed ballet flats and grey dress, Rebecca Minkoff Darren bag and shorts.

Perfect for pregnancytweed jacket in second trimester,.

3 Ways To Wear: Rebecca Minkoff Darren Messenger Bag

What I wore:

pink tee blush darren bag, converse, skinny jeans, jacquard jacket and scarf | awayfromblue

metallic jacquard jacket with Rebecca Minkoff small Darren messenger bag in peony pink | awayfromtheblue

Jacket: Jeanswest Cassandra jacquard jacket
ScarfFashion Scarf Girl lush forest scarf
Tee: Jeanswest essential v-neck tee in azalea pink
Jeans: thrifted Jeanswest faded black cropped butt lifter jeans
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in white
Bracelets: the usual
BagRebecca Minkoff small Darren messenger bag in peony (more affordable preowned!)

Why I wore it:

I'd been planning to go into the office with just a few team members so jeans and a tee was not too overdressed for that, and I relied on the textured jacket to make it seem a little more formal for an office setting. Decided to still wear it even though I ended up not going into the office as one of the kids was too sick for school. Jeans and a tee is a great working from home outfit and I was very comfortable in this all day, for working from home and the school run.

It was a much colder morning than I expected though so I added the scarf at the last moment. I couldn't decide between a few, but I haven't worn this floral scarf yet this year so it seemed like a good choice, even if the print is very busy against he textured boucle jacket. I like the blues and purple in the scarf against the pink tee, and again although the blush pink Rebecca Minkoff Daren bag is a different shade from the brighter pink of the tee I thought they looked nice together. These faded black jeans I scored at the opshop last year are definitely proving their worth in my wardrobe too! This is their 8th wear and they were only $1!

Last worn: jacquard jacket, forest print scarf, pink tee, faded black jeans, white Converse, Rebecca Minkoff small Darren bag (above).

Other ways to wearjacquard jacket and little black dress, forest print scarf and cobalt knit, pink tee and shorts, faded black jeans and blazer, white Converse and chambray dress, Rebecca Minkoff small Darren bag and sundress.

Perfect for pregnancyjacquard jacket in third trimesterwhite Converse Chucks in second trimester.

How You Can Wear It:

A textured jacket - tweed or boucle - is a good way to make a casual jeans outfit feel a little more dressed up for the day!

Printed Skirts, V-Neck Tees and Chloe Marcie Shoulder Bag

More outfits I wore recently with my Chloe Marcie bag that's been on frequent repeat! Wearing the neutral brown bag with some printed skirts and colourful tees.

What I wore:

pink tee and black white vertical stripe maxi skirt outfit and chloe marcie bag | awayfromblue

vertical stripe maxi skirt, Chloe Marcie medium shoulder bag in nut | awayfromtheblue

Necklace: terrazzo and wood rose gold bead necklace
TeeCotton On deep v tee in washed desert rose
Skirt: thrifted SES Fashions vertical stripe maxi skirt
Shoesblack slim Havaianas thongs
Bracelets: the usual plus wooden bead bracelets
BagChloe Marcie medium shoulder bag in nut

Why I wore it:

I realised I hadn't worn this maxi skirt in a while and got it out on this day to try give it one last wear, to see if I should keep it in my wardrobe. A $1 opshop find, I've only worn it times 4 times since I thrifted it back in 2019. However wearing it just reminded my why I bought it, it's definitely a keeper. It was a nice light skirt to wear, and it has pockets! The black and white stripes go with everything too.

Perfect outfit for a long weekend day spent at the beach and playground with the kids - this maxi skirt, although polyester, wasn't too heavy in the heat of the day and I felt quite cool in it with the slits up the side. It provided awesome physical sunblock for my legs too!

The wooden bead bracelets are new - I found these in a box of old things at my parent's place, still with tags on, from a now closed store. I thought they complimented the brown of the Chloe Marcie bag nicely.

Last worn: pink teeterrazzo and wood rose gold bead necklace, vertical striped maxi skirt, Havaianas, Chloe Marcie shoulder bag.

Other ways to wearpink tee and culottes, vertical striped maxi skirt with denim jacket, Chloe Marcie shoulder bag and floral dress.

Chloe Marcie Handbag Reveal:

Chloe Marcie medium shoulder bag in nut on shoulder with blue tee and green skirt | awayfromtheblue

Necklace: Kmart gold and navy beaded necklace
TeeCotton On The One fitted v tee in washed poolside blue
Skirt: thrifted Ghanda midi slink skirt in green mini blossom
ShoesMarc by Marc Jacobs logo plaque flats in camel
Bracelets: the usual
BagChloe Marcie medium shoulder bag in nut

Why I wore it:

This skirt was another thrift find, also just $1, that I felt I should wear again! I got this skirt because my sister has the same one and I thought it was such a lucky find I couldn't say no. Being a green midi skirt, it's two things I find challenging to wear, but I can always ask my sister for style tips, and it's good to try different things sometimes. I spent a little while trying to think of what to wear with it before I decided on this blue tee - I do like blue and green together!

Just like last time I wore this bag with tan shoes, I figured the two browns were far enough apart that they worked together in this outfit. And I really like the look of this skirt with ballet flats.

Spent the day working from home, with the school run too. Had a little appointment in the afternoon before picking up the kids as well.

Last worn: blue tee, beaded necklace, daisy print midi skirt, tan flats, Chloe Marcie shoulder bag (above).

Other ways to wearblue tee and red skirt, daisy print midi skirt and Converse, tan flats and wrap dress, Chloe Marcie shoulder bag and blue dress.

How You Can Wear It:

Printed skirts pair perfectly with block colour tees! With the tee being a single basic colour you don't have to worry about it clashing with any prints on your skirt.

Green Floral Prints and Grey Tees With Black Studded Tote Bag

Sometimes my outfit posts are two very similar outfits that follow the same formula. Other times, like today's post, it's just me trying to find some kind of similarity in what I wore so I can group them together for a post! Sharing two green floral print, grey tee and skirt outfits, two very different looks with very different pieces.

What I wore:

grey tee, black statement necklace accessories unlined tote bag and green daisy print midi skirt ghanda | awayfromblue

green daisy print skirt with Rebecca Minkoff medium unlined tote in black with shellac studded dome hardware | awayfromtheblue

Necklace: thrifted Eb&Ive black wooden bead multi strand statement necklace
Tee: thrifted Cotton on grey tunic tee
Skirt: thrifted Ghanda midi slink skirt in green mini blossom
ShoesWalnut Melbourne 'Ava' black lizard ballet flats
BagRebecca Minkoff medium unlined tote in black with shellac studded dome hardware

Why I wore it:

Another busy day! My son had a specialist appointment which lucky for him meant he missed a little bit of school that morning. We headed into the city - unfortunately with all the traffic - in the morning, and then I dropped him off at school and worked from home for a bit before school pickup in the afternoon.

I was determined to try this midi skirt with something other than Converse - these little black ballet flats were cute, although maybe not the best for driving with my knee injury, and matched the black statement necklace nicely. Both the skirt and necklace are recent opshop finds. I wasn't quite sure if this grey tunic top worked with the green midi skirt - maybe too relaxed a style with it, I went back and forth a few times but in the end I liked this outfit, I'm glad I gave it a try! A grey tee really does go with anything!

Last worn: grey tunic, black multi strand necklace, green floral midi skirt, ballet flats, Rebecca Minkoff unlined tote bag.

Other ways to weargrey tunic and printed shorts, green floral midi skirt and Converse, ballet flats and jeans, Rebecca Minkoff unlined tote bag and denim skirt.

Perfect for pregnancyballet flats in second trimester.

Opshop Haul - What I Thrifted In February

What I wore:

green floral print duster kimono over denim skirt sneakers and grey tee | awayfromblue

worn on shoulder with green Rebecca Minkoff medium unlined tote in black with shellac studded dome hardware | awayfromtheblue

Jacket: Jeanswest Delilah long line kimono in green floral
Necklace: Happiness Boutique turquoise and coral pendant necklace (c/o)
TeeJimmy Rees Pfiiiiizer darling vaxed tee
SkirtNobody Denim Piper vacation skirt in black distressed denim
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
BagRebecca Minkoff medium unlined tote in black with shellac studded dome hardware

Why I wore it:

Couldn't resist getting another wear of my Jimmy Rees Pfiiiiizer tee to the vaccination centre! Took the boys back for their second vaccine dose. I was feeling a lot better than when we took them for their first one back at the start of the year, when I was still recovering from my wisdom tooth surgery.

We had a trip to the library that day too so I added this green floral print duster to my outfit to keep me warm in the cold aircon in both places. It's not the same shade of green as the text on the tee but I love this duster with grey tees! And with the grey tee, black denim skirt, black Converse, and black tote bag, it was a very monochromatic outfit without that pop of colour from the kimono! The black tote bag was a must though, for carrying snacks, water bottles, and a little post-vaccination lolly for the kids. They were very brave.

How You Can Wear It:

The outfits above would work with any colourful printed piece you're not too confident about wearing. Any colour looks great with a grey tee! It's the best wardrobe basic!

Printed Dresses And Rebecca Minkoff Love Too Teal Crossbody Bag: Weekday Wear Link up

Sharing some printed dress outfits for today's Weekday Wear Link Up with my latest purchase, the adorable Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag in croc embossed deep teal. It's stunning and felt like the perfect touch with these pretty dresses. Works for two very different occasions too, as I was making the most of relaxed restrictions in Brisbane.

Earrings: Piper recycled metal turquoise tassel earring
Necklace: Jeanswest Taryn turquoise tassel bead necklace
Dress: Jeanswest Sophia high-low maxi dress
ShoesNovo Tawny rose gold sandals
BagRebecca Minkoff Love Too in deep teal croc embossed leather

Why I wore it:

Wore this for my son's birthday party. Last year we had planned a party in the park with friends and family for his birthday, and then Coronavirus happened and we had to cancel it. So this year he was extremely excited to have a proper party! While it was a different theme from last year we picked the same park and invited all the same people and a few of his kindy friends along. He had a wonderful time!

I was extremely grateful that the weather held out - the park we chose is prone to flooding and the big wet was starting to set in. We are so lucky that the rain stopped the morning of the party, the park wasn't flooded yet and the rain didn't start again until we were driving home. It was such a good morning. Just so nice for him to have a normal party with his friends like we did before the virus - even if things were a little different with lots of hand sanitiser and individual food servings and cupcakes, rather than one big birthday cake and platters of shared food.

Wanted to dress up even though it was just a casual park party - this cute high-low mandala print maxi dress was overdue a wear, and with all the pretty colours in the print I thought the turquoise tassel earrings and necklace were good accessories. The teal Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag doesn't match any of the colours in the print but I think it went really well together - and it fit all my essentials as well as my camera for the party.

Last worn: turquoise tassel earrings, mandala print maxi dress, turquoise tassel necklace, gold sandals. First time I've worn the Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag as it's a recent purchase.

Other ways to wearmandala print maxi dress and denim jacket, gold sandals and blue dress.

Revealing My Rebecca Minkoff Love Too Bag:

What I wore:

Jacket: Glassons orange jersey blazer
Necklace: thrifted Equip gold and marble station necklace
DressFrench Connection blue Paisley print dress
ShoesMarc by Marc Jacobs metallic mouse flats
BagRebecca Minkoff Love Too in deep teal croc embossed leather

Why I wore it:

This was another little return to normality! First time back in the office after over a year! After some big events at work our little team went into the office and had a team a lunch to celebrate, and I of course just had to wear my new bag I bought with my recent work rewards! I think the teal works so well with the blue and orange.

I'd been avoiding public transport since everything happened last year so it was strange being on a bus and being back in the office. It was rather unpleasant cleaning out all of the food and medication that I had left behind over a year ago, not knowing my last time in the office would be the last time! So nice to see people in person though and dress up in office wear again.

Had to go with this blue paisley print sheath dress, an office staple for me back in the day. And of course this orange blazer! That I bid for on eBay in 2020, won a few days later, and then by the time it arrived at my house I was already working from home in lockdown. Extremely poor timing! But good to get it out for a wear for the first time, over a year later.

Our office is open for people who want to work there, and has been for a while, although this was my first time venturing. A recent couple of cases outside of quarantine in Brisbane, and them being so close to when I was in the office as well as a brief lockdown a couple weeks later means I'm back to working from home for now sadly.

Last worn: statement necklace, paisley print sheath dress, gold mouse flats, Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag (above). First time I've worn the blazer as it was an office purchase before the first lockdown last year.

Other ways to wearpaisley print sheath dress worn belted, gold mouse flats worn 30 ways.

Perfect for pregnancypaisley print sheath dress in second trimester, gold mouse flats in third trimester.

How You Can Wear It:

A handbag doesn't have to match your outfit to go with it! The teal Rebecca Minkoff Love Too bag works with both of these outfits, despite not matching any of the colours in the printed dresses.

Neutral Dresses And Pink Balenciaga City Bag

A sign of how behind I've been with blogging, these are the outfits I wore for the first week back at school at the end of January. Back into the routine with the school run each day called for easy outfits - nothing easier than a neutral dress and a bright pink bag, this Balenciaga sorbet pink city bag really pops against neutral.

What I wore:

grey skater dress, Adidas superstar, Balenciaga sorbet pink city bag | away from blue

Balenciaga RH classic city in 2010 sorbet and grey dress | awayfromtheblue

Necklace: Colette crescent purple and gold necklace
DressAsos grey skater dress
Shoesthrifted Adidas Superstar sneakers
BagBalenciaga RH classic city in 2010 sorbet

Why I wore it:

Had a busy day ahead, with some errands after the school drop off so I picked this grey skater dress, it looks so good with pink but surprisingly I've never worn this bag and dress together before. I was so sure I had until I looked back through my blog archives. Despite taking years to wear these two together I really liked the pairing, especially when I added the little magenta necklace too.

Good simple outfit for a hot day with a little running around - we visited the library and got some groceries as well as attempting to return an item to Jeanswest. They don't do returns for sale items any more so I had to exchange instead - luckily my sister had her eye on a dress in store and I could pick that up for her.

Last worn: grey skater dress, magenta crescent necklace, Adidas Superstar, Balenciaga sorbet pink city bag.

Other ways to weargrey skater dress worn two ways, Adidas Superstar and Bermuda shorts, Balenciaga sorbet pink city bag worn 30 ways.

Perfect for pregnancygrey skater dress in second trimester, Balenciaga sorbet pink city bag at 37 weeks.

30 Ways To Wear: Balenciaga Sorbet City Bag

What I wore:

Cotton On 'Tina' white striped tee dress in Lissy black / Gardenia with Adidas Superstar and Balenciaga sorbet pink city bag | away from blue

striped tee dress with Balenciaga RH classic city in 2010 sorbet | away from the blue

EarringsMichael Hill stud earrings with aqua cubic zirconia in sterling silver
Necklace: Kmart pink multi-colour beaded necklace
DressCotton On 'Tina' white striped tee dress in Lissy black / Gardenia
Shoesthrifted Adidas Superstar sneakers
BagBalenciaga RH classic city in 2010 sorbet

Why I wore it:

More matchy-matchy with a pink necklace and pink bag! Working from home and doing the school run called for something really easy - this dress is what my blog friend Sheila would call a "jammy dress" as it's as comfortable as pyjamas, just what I needed for an impossibly long day of meetings. I'd planned to wear this dress as I knew the first week back at school after the summer holidays would be a busy one as we all settled into the routine, dresses are so good for outfits you don't have to think too hard about!

I'd grabbed the Adidas Superstar sneakers to wear without considering the stripes on the dress but looking at the photos I liked the contrasting stripes! Was just another bit of matchy-matchy like the pink accessories really.

Last worn: blue earrings, stripe tee dress, wooden beaded necklace, Adidas Superstar (above), Balenciaga sorbet pink city bag (above).

Other ways to wearstripe tee dress with purple, Adidas Superstar and maxi skirt, Balenciaga sorbet pink city bag and jeans.

Perfect for pregnancyBalenciaga sorbet pink city bag in third trimester.

How You Can Wear It:

Bright and colourful bags are a fun pop with a simple neutral dress outfit - you can match a necklace too for a little extra colour without thinking too hard! Simple summer school run style!
