What I wore:
Necklace: Jeanswest Taryn turquoise tassel bead necklace
Dress: Jeanswest Sophia high-low maxi dress
Shoes: Acne pistol boots in "skin"
Bag: Chanel vintage quilted lambskin flap
Why I wore it:
I wore this pretty maxi dress out to brunch with some other Brisbane style Instagrammers. When I first tried on this dress in Jeanswest back in Spring last year I was wearing ankle boots and I loved how it looked - so I am glad with the cooler weather I got to give this combination a wear!We all caught up for a wonderful brunch at Little and Oliver's on the Bayside and then some of us went and took a few extra photos afterwards. Big thanks to K for taking this shot for me!
I rarely get a chance to wear this vintage Chanel bag so I decided to wear it out since I was kid-free for a rare change! It was a nice accessory with the colourful printed dress.
Last worn: denim jacket, gold pendant necklace, printed ruffle hem maxi dress, Acne Pistol boots, vintage Chanel flap bag.
Other ways to wear: denim jacket and shorts, printed ruffle hem maxi dress and sandals, Acne Pistol boots and printed shorts, vintage Chanel flap bag and snakeprint dress.
Perfect for pregnancy: denim jacket in second trimester, vintage Chanel flap bag at 39 weeks.
30 Ways To Wear A Tie Dye Maxi Dress:
What I wore:
Jacket: Bubblegum denim jacket
Necklace: Kmart pink multi-colour beaded necklace
Dress: Jeanswest 'Elodie' tie dye grey jersey maxi dress
Shoes: Asos leather Chelsea boots in tan
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff small Darren messenger bag in peony
Why I wore it:
Repeated the outfit formula from above again with different pieces. You can't really see in the pics but I picked my tan ankle boots to go under this tie dye maxi dress with the peony pink Rebecca Minkoff Darren cross body bag and the same trusty denim jacket.Couldn't resist being a little matchy-matchy with the blush necklace to match the blush pink bag! Wore this out to church on a rather busy day. The dress was a throw on and go easy outfit.
Last worn: denim jacket (above), pink beaded necklace, tie dye maxi dress, ASOS Chelsea boots, Rebecca Minkoff Darren bag.
Other ways to wear: denim jacket worn 30 ways, tie dye maxi dress worn 30 ways, ASOS Chelsea boots and printed shorts, Rebecca Minkoff Darren bag and jeans.
Perfect for pregnancy: denim jacket in second trimester, tie dye maxi dress at 38 weeks, ASOS Chelsea boots in second trimester.

Scotland is my absolute favourite place to visit in the entire world - I'm more than a bit jealous that you're there! And I am also a fan of longer dresses and ankle boots in chillier weather, it always makes for a nice combo.

It is a beautiful country, very cold though, haha!
DeleteI love a jean jacket with dresses like this Mica!! What a great way to travel.

Oh both of these dresses are so great. I love the hi-low hem detail on the first one. What a fun and flattering way to show off your shoes! I hope you are having an amazing time in Scotland!
ReplyDeleteWe had a great time thank you!
DeleteI'm drawn to both of your bags! I love a classic Chanel purse but am too afraid to use lambskin after wrecking a favorite lambskin purse (caviar all the way for me!) The blush color of your Rebecca minkoff is sweet too!
ReplyDeleteYes this one is definitely lived in, haha!
DeleteLovely outfit, jean jackets are my favorite!!
ReplyDeleteOh I love maxi dresses with denim jackets, this is a go to look for me in the summer months. I wear this to the office and the jacket helps with the AC and from not showing too much skin.

Oh yes we needed all the layers in Scotland, haha! Even now it's winter in Brisbane it's still not been that cold yet!
DeleteBeautiful maxi dresses dear! I love how you styled it with a denim outfit and ankle boots. Your vintage Chanel bag is beautiful. I think vintage designer bags are always such a good choice because they are more sustainable and to me they always look better than new ones. I think it has to do with the fact that materials used were treated with less chemical in the past and that makes vintage items more valuable.
ReplyDeleteThe second outfit is very pretty as well. That dress is so lovely. I love its colour and the subtle print. You look fantastic in both outfits. I hope that you have enjoyed your European trip. Have a great weekend!

Dresses, and not just maxi dresses, worn with ankle boots are my outfit formula. It's ankle boot season for most of the year here anyway, even in Summer. Love both your outfits! The first dress with the hi-low hem is perfect for showing off your boots, and even though we cannot see them in your second outfit, that dress looks fabulous on you! Have a great weekend, Mica! xxx
ReplyDeleteMica, I just love how your new hairstyle is gently waving in the breeze - it's so flattering! And I love how you've styled both maxis (I love to wear maxis in the summer and should be carrying them through the autumn at least) with the ankle boots and denim jacket (I wear my denim jackets with everything). I hope you're having an awesome weekend!
