What I wore:
Necklace: Kmart gold and navy beaded necklace
Tee: Atmos&Here navy stripe v-neck tee
Skirt: thrifted no label rust ruffle tiered skirt
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star low in white
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff micro Regan satchel in Harvest Gold
Why I wore it:
Not the first time I've worn a striped tee with this skirt, and definitely won't be the last! I really like the navy stripes with the rust colour of this skirt, such a good combination. I added the navy necklace for a little more navy too, and this mustard yellow Rebecca Minkoff micro Regan bag for something a little different. I thought the yellow would be nice with the rust and I really liked this! Casual Converse for the little bit of driving around I did do to take the kids to a school holiday program for the day, before working from home and picking them up in the afternoon.Last worn: navy stripe tee, navy beaded necklace, rust ruffle skirt, white Converse, Rebecca Minkoff micro Regan bag.
Other ways to wear: navy stripe tee and maxi skirt, rust ruffle skirt and denim jacket, white Converse and pink dress, Rebecca Minkoff micro Regan bag worn 30 ways.
Perfect for pregnancy: navy stripe tee in third trimester, white Converse Chucks in second trimester.
What's In My Rebecca Minkoff Micro Regan Bag:
What I wore:
Skirt: Nobody Denim Piper vacation skirt in black distressed denim
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff micro Regan satchel in Harvest Gold
Why I wore it:
Another very similar outfit! Like the rust ruffle skirt in the first outfit, I found this striped tee at the opshop. I've gotten a lot of wear from it over the years, it's become a firm favourite in my wardrobe! Not bad for $1! Wore it with my distressed denim skirt and again the little micro Regan bag. I had to work from home, but as the kids are up so early in the mornings I took them out to the playground first. I had a big green reusable tote with their remote control cars and our water bottles, so the micro Regan just had my essentials in it. It's the perfect bag for that!Last worn: Coca-Cola striped tee, Nobody Denim skirt, Converse, Rebecca Minkoff micro Regan bag (above).
Other ways to wear: Coca-Cola striped tee worn two ways, Nobody Denim skirt and leopard print, Converse and dress, Rebecca Minkoff micro Regan bag worn 30 ways.
Perfect for pregnancy: Converse in second trimester.
How You Can Wear It:
You can't go wrong pairing a striped tee with a basic block colour skirt like I have in these outfits!

You can never go wrong with striped tees, and I've got them in a range of colours too. The first outfit is my favourite. The rust-coloured ruffle skirt and navy striped tee make for a gorgeous combo. The bag is great with both outfits. Such a nice colour! xxx
ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful bag, it's a shame I hadn't worn it in a while!
DeleteI wish secondhand clothing was as inexpensive here as your finds! You always do so well thrifting. Your striped tees are really cute with these skirts!
ReplyDeleteThe chain opshops can be a bit more expensive but we have a lot of small local ones around that often have deals or sales on, and I've scored so many great things there!
DeleteI remember when you brought that coke cola shirt.
