What I wore:
Necklace: Kmart blue multi-colour beaded necklace
Tank: Asos satin singlet in pink
Jeans: Nobody Denim Cult high rise skinny ankle jeans in charred grey
Shoes: New Balance Coast women's running shoe in black
Bag: Chloe periwinkle small Paraty
Why I wore it:
Wore this for a very relaxed day! It was a pupil free day, so a morning free from the school run! I planned to work from home and take the kids to the library afterwards - this jeans and tank outfit was perfect, the cosy navy waterfall cardigan is so comfortable and kept me warm. My mum and sister looked after the kids when I worked and treated us to lunch which was nice, as well as taking the boys out for a few adventures.I felt this satin pink tank was overdue another wear and I really do like it with navy! Added even more blue with the wooden bead necklace and periwinkle Chloe Paraty bag.
These charcoal Nobody Denim jeans go with everything of course, and I picked the New Balance sneakers for their support while driving around.
Last worn: navy waterfall cardigan, blue tri colour wooden necklace, pink satin tank, Nobody Denim jeans, New Balance sneakers, Chloe periwinkle small Paraty.
Other ways to wear: navy waterfall cardigan and shorts, pink satin tank and pencil skirt, Nobody Denim jeans and blazer, Chloe periwinkle small Paraty and maxi dress.
Perfect for pregnancy: pink satin tank and hidden baby bump.
Chloe Handbag Collection: Past and Present
What I wore:
Necklace: Lovisa gold filigree heart pendant
Top: Sass and Bide "For Easy Reference" tank
Jeans: thrifted Jeanswest faded black cropped butt lifter jeans
Shoes: thrifted Adidas Superstar sneakers
Bag: Chloe Marcie medium shoulder bag in nut
Why I wore it:
This is exactly the same cardigan as the one above, just in red, because I couldn't decide between the two colours when I bought them a few years back. I am glad I have both in my wardrobe, even though this red one hasn't been worn as much as the navy one above, that I've hit 30 wears with. I do love wearing this red cardigan with neutrals though to let it really shine! The brown printed tank was a great pairing with it, and the faded black jeans, a $1 opshop find, go with everything.Again I went with sneakers, my comfortable Adidas Superstar ones, for the school run, helping in my son's classroom and a few errands after school. We had to go buy a few little special snacks for the upcoming playdate we had on the weekend.
Although the rose gold necklace is a different tone from the gold hardware on the Chloe Marcie bag, I thought the two accessories worked well together, and I really liked the filigree heart with the brown print on the tank.
Last worn: red waterfall cardigan, rose gold heart necklace, Sass and Bide printed tank, faded black skinny jeans, Adidas Superstar sneakers, Chloe Marcie shoulder bag.
Other ways to wear: red waterfall cardigan and pencil skirt, Sass and Bide printed tank and maxi skirt, faded black skinny jeans and blazer, Adidas Superstar sneakers and midi dress, Chloe Marcie shoulder bag and printed dress.
How You Can Wear It:
A cosy block colour cardigan is the perfect layer for those in-between seasons. A neutral like navy lets you pair it with brighter outfits, or you can go bolder with a red knit and stick to neutral shades with the rest of your outfit like I have in these two outfits.

I'm so excited that we are heading into fall over here and the weather has been blissfully brisk! Your outfits are delightful!!
ReplyDeleteCozy cardigans are work horses over here as well. It looks like you snagged two really good quality ones and even after so many wears they look great and not pilled. I bet you are excited for the arrival of spring. Do you get much rain? It's nice that you are able to have somewhat of a flexible schedule so that when there is a day off from school you are able to work from home for part of the day and then enjoy spending time with your son as well. I do think COVID taught us that we can do many things without being in person and I do hope many companies find a good balance and use this time to reassess how they can help employee's have a bit more flexibility without compromising the actual work that needs to be accomplished.

yes they are great quality, and such bargains I had to have both! :) I'm really lucky I get to work from home so often - I do go into the office now and then but working from home is my default.
DeleteThis is a great outfit formula, and of course I love the pink + blue!
ReplyDeletePink and blue just always works! I've been wearing it so much recently :)
DeleteThese are both lovely outfits, Mica! I especially like the second one. I’m glad you brought that red cardigan out to play again.

ReplyDeleteHappy spring - I hope it warms up again soon for you. We're about to go into a month of pretty nice weather here (low-to-mid teens during the day, with mostly sun), as the rain usually starts well into October. I'm still in summer mode for my wardrobe - the closet swap-over will be on our long weekend.
I'm looking forward to ogling your closet swap over process and photos, haha!

Me encanto el segundo outfit, saludos:D
ReplyDeleteAutumn has come early here, as we've been having an unusually wet September. Spring seems such a long way off, so I'm enjoying yours vicariously!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving both looks but my favourite is the second one. That red cardigan could brighten up any outfit.
I often buy things I love in two different colourways because I cannot decide on which one to take :-) xxx
Now I'm thrifting more I rarely get a chance to buy two or more of the same piece, but I do have a lot of fun when I'm shopping retail and have that choice! :)
DeleteThis is a beautiful post.
ReplyDeleteA well-chosen outfit.
Love waterfall cardigans they are so nice to wear this time of the year! Also love the Chloe collection!

ReplyDeleteYes to purchasing multiples of items that you love! I didn't used to do that, but I would always regret not getting more than one color and I love both colors of this cardigan on you! Such a great transitional layer.
