Pink and Black Outfits With Printed Scarves and Rebecca Minkoff Cupid Bag

Just like my previous post, sticking to another colour scheme for these two outfits with pink tees, printed scarves and black. Both slightly different outfits, for busy days working from home and watching my kids sports events.

What I wore:

Jacket: thrifted Dotti black cocoon cape cardigan
ScarfStella McCartney heart print scarf
TeeCotton On deep v tee in washed desert rose
Jeans: thrifted Jeanswest faded black cropped butt lifter jeans
ShoesAdidas Superstar sneakers
Bracelets: the usual
Bagthrifted Rebecca Minkoff vintage Cupid satchel in dark navy blue

Why I wore it:

I love this cosy cocoon cardigan! It was a great $1 opshop find and I always look forward to being able to wear it when the weather gets cooler. Paired with the black skinny jeans, it was quite a dark outfit, but the pink tee and the blue heart print scarf added just enough colour to brighten it up.

Had to have something simple and practical for working from home, and using the gaps between meetings to run a quick errand at lunch time and spend a little time at my son's sports day at school. Of course it meant making up the time afterwards, so quite a long day, but a fun one too. The Rebecca Minkoff Cupid bag was ideal as it fit my camera alongside all my other essentials for taking photos of my son competing.

Last worn: cocoon cardigan, Stella McCartney scarf, pink tee, black skinny jeans, Adidas Superstar sneakers, Rebecca Minkoff Cupid.

Other ways to wearcocoon cardigan and printed jeans, Stella McCartney scarf and dress, pink tee and pencil skirt, black skinny jeans and band tee, Adidas Superstar sneakers and dress, Rebecca Minkoff Cupid and shorts.

What I wore:

Jacket: Bubblegum denim jacket
ScarfSeed Heritage Paisley print snood
TeeCle The Label Charlotte tee in ombre rose
Skirt: thrifted Crossroads black ruffle hem maxi skirt
ShoesAdidas Superstar sneakers
Bracelets: the usual
Bagthrifted Rebecca Minkoff vintage Cupid satchel in dark navy blue

Why I wore it:

Another pink and black outfit, with this ruffle hem maxi skirt instead of jeans. Still had some denim in it though with the denim jacket. Again I wore my Rebecca Minkoff Cupid bag for extra carry space, as I had another sports day to attend for my sons. Luckily, this one was in the afternoon so I was able to wrap up work early and go enjoy the whole event, and I got some great pics!

While it had been a cool morning on the school run and a little chilly while working from home, this cosy Paisley print snood / infinity scarf was much too warm for the afternoon sports day on the oval and I ended up taking it off. I did like the print and interest it added to the outfit, even if it did cover up the ombre colour on this pink tee and I took it off later in the afternoon.

Pink and Purple: Jeans, Grey Tees, Blazers And Scarves Outfits

Trying to inject a little colour into my winter work outfits, with both of these jeans and tee outfits featuring a little bit of pink and some cosy purple scarves.

What I wore:

Jacket: Jeanswest Nadine 3/4 sleeve dusky pink blazer
Scarf: thrifted checked purple pashmina scarf
Tee: thrifted Cotton on grey tunic tee
JeansNobody Denim Siren skinny super high-rise jeans in power black denim (c/o)
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: MIMCO Mim-Mazing crossbody bag in black and light gold (new purchase)

Why I wore it:

This is quite a light blazer. I thought it might be warm enough for the commute to the office as I wore the dark grey tunic tee underneath which has longer length sleeves, and I had my big cosy checked purple scarf. Definitely needed a little more than this blazer though, it's not the best for winter. Thankfully the office aircon has been switched to the winter setting so it kept me cosy, and it wasn't too cold on the way home, I just wished a little in the morning I'd picked a warmer blazer!

I did like the extra colour the blush pink blazer added to the grey tee and black jeans outfit though, brightened it up nicely especially as I'd gone for a little black crossbody bag and needed some colourful layers.

Last worn: blush blazer, purple checked scarf, grey tunic, Nobody denim jeans, black Converse. First time I've worn the Mimco bag on the blog as it was a recent purchase.

Other ways to wearblush blazer and dress, purple checked scarf and jumper, grey tunic and shorts, Nobody denim jeans and printed blouse, black Converse and pencil skirt.

Perfect for pregnancyConverse in second trimester.

What I wore:

Jacketthrifted Zara black blazer
ScarfMarc by Marc Jacobs mauve square scarf
Tee: grey marle pocket tee
Jeans: thrifted Zara pink frayed hem skinny jeans
ShoesAdidas Superstar sneakers
Bracelets: the usual
BagMIMCO Mim-Mazing crossbody bag in black and light gold

Why I wore it:

This outfit gets the sniff of approval from Bonnie! Had to take my photos inside as it was raining so much and so dark outside that morning. Haven't quite mastered taking photos inside but I was in a rush trying to get out the door to work on time.

Just like the first outfit, I stuck with pink and purple against the neutrals, again with my little black Mimco Mim-Mazing crossbody bag. This was a much more colourful outfit though with the pink frayed hem jeans, and the bold purple scarf. The black blazer was an obvious neutral choice with the pink and purple, and unlike the think blush one in the first outfit, this one is a comfortable lined jersey so it kept me a lot warmer on the commute to the office.
