What I wore:
Jacket: no label white drape jacket
Necklace: engraved interlinked silver circle family name necklace
Dress: Kmart Aztec print tiered little black dress
Shoes: Wittner 'Jasmarie' studded sandals
Bracelets: the usual plus Marc by Marc Jacobs enamel turnlock stripey hinge black and white bangle
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Avery crossbody bag in burgundy
Why I wore it:
This white waterfall jacket was definitely not needed for extra warmth! This sundress is the cutest but it has spaghetti straps I wanted to cover up for church. I have a few kimonos but settled on this jacket that hasn't been worn in a while. Last time I wore it I noted how it had been pretty underutilised in my wardrobe and I needed to wear it more. Well it's certainly been more than a month since I wore it last but I think it's been given another pass to stay in my wardrobe a while longer! I did like how it looked with the black printed sundress, even if I took the jacket off as soon as we got home as it was much too hot for it in the afternoon! With the simple black and white outfit I wanted to add a little more colour - this burgundy Rebecca Minkoff Avery crossbody bag seemed like a good choice and the silver hardware matched my necklace and bracelet stack well too. I always take the baby bag into church with some entertainment for the kids and all our water bottles, so a small crossbody bag was all I needed.
Last worn: waterfall jacket, silver circle necklace, black printed sundress, studded sandals, Rebecca Minkoff Avery crossbody. First time I've worn the earrings as they were a gift from hubby.
Other ways to wear: waterfall jacket and shorts, black printed sundress in winter, studded sandals and chambray, Rebecca Minkoff Avery crossbody and jeans.
Perfect for pregnancy: waterfall jacket in third trimester, studded sandals in third trimester.
My Favourite Rebecca Minkoff Bag:
What I wore:
Dress: Kmart strappy tiered sundress in watercolour blue and blush print
Shoes: slim navy and pink Havaianas
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Regan Satchel Tote in moon
Why I wore it:
The day before all the rains arrived it was a much too hot and humid 36͒ C (97͒ F). I didn't want to wear any layers or anything too warm, this printed sundress was perfect. Being a size bigger than the one above, it was really loose and heatwave friendly, perfect for the school run on a very warm day. I'm definitely getting the most from this $2 clearance sale find!I did try accessorise it a little with this long necklace - the stones aren't real so it's quite light to wear. I picked the Rebecca Minkoff Regan bag as I liked the navy with the blue in the dress, and also because it fit mine and my son's water bottles inside so I didn't need to carry the baby bag around. It was nice to not have to carry multiple bags around, even if we only went to grab groceries and then chilled at home in the aircon before school pickup!
Last worn: blue and pink Kmart sundress, Happiness boutique necklace, Havaianas, Rebecca Minkoff Regan bag.
Other ways to wear: blue and pink Kmart sundress and magenta bag, Rebecca Minkoff Regan bag and pencil skirt.
