What I wore:
Tee: Jeanswest Ruby frill sleeve Ric Rac detailed tee in deep iris (on sale!)
Skirt: thrifted Cotton On navy and grey striped maxi skirt
Shoes: Marc by Marc Jacobs metallic mouse flats
Bracelets: the usual plus pink and gold bracelet stack on other arm
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff chevron quilted small Love crossbody bag in pale coral
Why I wore it:
I like a bit of matchy-matchy and the navy frill sleeved tee pairs so perfectly with the navy and grey striped maxi skirt. The peachy Rebecca Minkoff small Love bag was the perfect pop against the neutral navy outfit, especially when worn with the peach and gold bracelet stack. The beaded necklace is gold and pink but I still think it went nicely with the colours of the outfit, the blush and peach were sweet together. A casual and comfortable outfit for a superhero birthday party in the park. If you look closely at the Instagram pic you might see one of my little superheroes running away 😂
It was a little windy at the park so I did wish I'd added an extra layer to this, especially when standing in the shade, but it was perfect when sitting in the sun. We hadn't been to a party in that park before so weren't expecting the breeze off the water to be so chilly!
Last worn: navy frill sleeve tee, blush and rose gold necklace, navy stripe maxi skirt, gold mouse flats, Rebecca Minkoff small love bag.
Other ways to wear: navy frill sleeve tee and printed shorts, navy stripe maxi skirt and pink scarf, gold mouse flats and wrap dress, Rebecca Minkoff small love bag and jeans.
Perfect for pregnancy: gold mouse flats in third trimester.
Rebecca Minkoff Regular and Small Love Bag Comparison
What I wore:
Tee: Jeanswest Ruby frill sleeve tee in fuchsia
Skirt: thrifted SES Fashions vertical stripe maxi skirt
Shoes: Walnut Melbourne 'Ava' black lizard ballet flats
Bracelets: the usual plus Roie Designs black leather Swarovski beaded wrap bracelet
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Love cross body bag in grey
Why I wore it:
Since I liked the outfit above so much I did my usual and copied the outfit formula to wear again a few days later. I went with a bright pink frill sleeve tee this time, and a vertical stripe maxi skirt.Swapped out my little peach small Rebecca Minkoff love bag with this regular size one, and added a different pink beaded necklace this time to compliment the pink tee.
Another simple and comfortable outfit I really enjoyed wearing for a quiet day running errands and visiting the library with the boys.
Last worn: frill sleeve tee, wooden bead necklace, vertical stripe maxi skirt, black ballet flats, Rebecca Minkoff grey love bag.
Other ways to wear: frill sleeve tee and chambray, vertical stripe maxi skirt and denim jacket, black ballet flats and sheath dress, Rebecca Minkoff grey love bag worn 30 ways.
Perfect for pregnancy: black ballet flats in second trimester, Rebecca Minkoff grey love bag in third trimester.
Frill Sleeve Tees Under $50:
How You Can Wear It:
A plain block colour frill sleeve tee is a nice twist on a standard basic tee and just as easy to wear! Try pairing it with something striped or printed for a little more interest in your outfit. You can match the tee to the print like I have in the first outfit or wear a bright tee with a neutral print like I have in the second outfit.Linking up with Weekend Wear, Fancy Friday, Lizzie In Lace, Red Carpet Style.

I have serious bracelet stack envy! Yours are always so pretty, but I get annoyed with bracelets myself, unfortunately!
ReplyDeleteI'm rediscovering all my bracelets! they weren't the most practical choice with little ones, but now the boys are bigger it's a bit easier!
DeleteThanks all for your kind comments! :)
