Orange pants, pink nails

I have a small confession. I bought these pants at Asos thinking that they were red pants, not orange. I was using a different computer that evidently had major issues showing colours. I think I love them even more than the red ones though!


Here's what I wore today:
Singlet: Sass & Bide Musical Genius tank
Necklace: Black multi chain necklace from Indigo Rose Design
Bracelets: the usual
Jeans: Burnt Ochre orange pants from Vero Moda at Asos
Bag: Vintage Chanel chevron evening bag
Nail polish: Chanel 535 May pink polish (gift from my bestie)

I have owned 2 pairs of bright pants before: a bright pink pair when I was much younger that I loved, and a red pair of Ripcurl ones a few years ago. I no longer have either, and I doubt I would fit into them if I did.

What do you think is better, red pants or orange pants? Could I justify buying a red pair too?

    Gotta love happy accidents. Those orange pants are neat, and they go nicely with that top. It may be my monitor, but I'd say those red pants are pretty close in colour to the orange. I can see how the mix-up happened. :)

      Thanks, a very happy accident indeed! I saw them in the parcel and wasn't sure but pulled them out and it was like "yes they're orange!" haha. They are quite a deep orange.

    You look amazing in your bright jeans. I'm normally not a fan of orange, but the darker burnt orange looks great! How do pants/jeans from ASOS fit? I've gotten dresses, but never pants. I am a size US 2 or 4 and a 26 in jeans. Do they run true to size or should I size up? Their models are SOOOO skinny.

    I like the orange pants better because of the slimmer cut! Great choice.

      Thanks! I really quite like orange! :) These are vera moda I find these pretty true to size, maybe a little extra space. I take anywhere between a 25 and 26, I got a 25 in these and they are perfect. I find dresses more forgiving online, but took the chance as these jeans were so cheap and asos have a fab return policy!

      haha sorry!!! The red pants do seem a bit orange in that photo but it was the only one I had of them. Hope all your purchases turn out ok!

    The photos probably don't give credit to the real hue for each pant. From what I see, I love the orange pant better. I like the sandal very much too.

    I really love your outfit! and i LOVE that Sass & Bide top.

    To be honest I cant tell the difference between the colour of the orange and red pants (maybe its just my computer?) But i think the orange ones are a better make - more of a straight leg which looks better in my opinion.

      Oh and by the way, if you dont really want to spend too much on another pair of red pants, I bought some a couple of weeks ago from Target. Good skinny leg and quite stretchy =]
