Bright Office Wear: Blue, Pink and Purple Outfits With Balenciaga Work Bag

While it is spring here in Brisbane, it's still a bit chilly in the mornings so all layers are still needed! I had some fun with the outfits below, wearing blue pink and purple together. I realised I hadn't worn these pink tanks in a while and it was so easy to layer them up and make them appropriate for a colder than expected spring morning.

What I wore:

ShoesWalnut Melbourne 'Ava' black lizard ballet flats (also available in silver)
BagBalenciaga raisin purple 2009 giant silver G21 hardware work bag

Why I wore it:

While this is the first time I've worn all of these pieces together, it's not a completely new outfit. I've worn the skirt with a different pink tank here, and I've worn the jacquard skirt and skull scarf together here. I frequently wear the pencil skirt and purple work bag together too.

If you're feeling unsure about what to wear, pick a piece you love (like this skirt), a piece you've worn with it recently (like the bag), and then look to other past combinations for further outfit inspiration.

Mostly I plan my outfits out the evening before, but it's usually before I go to bed so any opportunity to pull an outfit together faster makes me happy as it means I get to go to bed earlier!

Why I wore it:

I was actually surprised to see that I hadn't worn this button up tank and blue lace skirt together before when I looked on the blog - I really like pink and blue together and a button up tank is perfect for work. I ended up keeping the big purple blanket scarf on all day, it kept me cosy at my desk. I did cover up the sleeveless tank even more with a cardigan during meetings. Party to keep my shoulders covered and partly because our meeting rooms are always even colder than the rest of the office!

While the pieces are different from the first outfit (except the bag which was a constant), I stuck with the same colour scheme and enjoyed this outfit just as much as the one above. Nice and cheerful for a cooler spring day.

How You Can Wear It:

You don't have to stick to neutrals when you layer! Bright and colourful accessories can work well with a colourful outfit, if you stick with combinations you love. The blue, pink and purple in these outfits are colours I like on their own and together in different combinations. They look wonderful worn as a colourful trio as well.

  40. Wow! I absolutely adore your handbag collection. The variety of colors and styles are so cute. I really love the color of the clutch bag. I have been carrying my clutches a lot this year but I should try one with color. You may to have to take the coin purse to a handbag specialist so you don't risk damaging it. Good luck:)

I pray you are having a great week pretty lady!
