What I wore:
Necklace: Kmart navy and gold beaded tassel necklace
Tee: Sass and Bide 'New Day Rising' tee in orange leopard print
Jeans: Jeanswest Vicki skinny pant in moss green
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star low in white
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Micro Bedford zip satchel in twilight
Why I wore it:
This was a busy day! I wanted to try wear these jeans with something a bit different, so went with this neon orange leopard print tee. I've worn orange with these olive jeans only a few times, but I really like the combination! I think the neutral denim is a good match with the bright statement tee.
Kept everything else neutral in this outfit too, to let the tee shine. With the navy necklace, navy Rebecca Minkoff micro Bedford bag, and the white Converse. Was a nice and comfortable outfit for working from home, with the school run, a quick stop at the shops in the afternoon and sports in the evening.
My son discovered a mantis in our garden which laid eggs before it went away so he was very excited to go to Petbarn to stock up on everything the baby mantids will need when they hatch. And I have to give credit to the wonderful employee who was very understanding and who gave me multiple options and price points for everything, so I wasn't spending hundreds on housing a little mantis egg pouch 😂 We have since added two mantids to our "collection" but the babies haven't hatched just yet!

Rebecca Minkoff Micro Bedford Bag Review:
What I wore:
Necklace: Kmart silver long circle pendant necklace
Tee: Atmos&Here navy stripe v-neck tee
Jeans: Jeanswest Harper skinny pant in Russet
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star coast blue
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Micro Bedford zip satchel in twilight
Why I wore it:
This was another working from home day with the school run, although when I went to pick the kids up in the afternoon I did wish I'd added an extra layer with this, it wasn't as warm a day as the one above! I liked the simplicity of this outfit, with the matchy-matchy of the navy striped tee and navy Micro Bedford bag together. I like wearing blue and red together, and these pants work well with both the navy and the brighter blue of the Converse sneakers.
I thought the silver circle necklace was a nice matchy-matchy choice with the circle zipper pull on the Micro Bedford bag too.
Last worn: navy stripe tee, silver circle necklace, burgundy jeans, blue Converse, Rebecca Minkoff Micro Bedford bag (above).
Other ways to wear: navy stripe tee and maxi skirt, burgundy jeans and floral duster, blue Converse and navy dress, Rebecca Minkoff Micro Bedford bag and shorts.
Perfect for pregnancy: navy stripe tee in third trimester.

How You Can Wear It:
Jeans and a tee is a staple outfit formula! You can change it up a little each time you wear it with other colours of denim and not just classic blue, and try a printed tee to make it seem even more different too.
Great casual work outfits. Hope you are having an awesome week.

Nice not-blue jeans.
ReplyDeleteWonderful color combinations here! The orange + olive is really fun. I need to do that one more often.
ReplyDeleteMe too !I like it so much, it's a fun combination!
DeleteSometimes simple outfits are best. This week I am trying to remember to add bracelets!

I need to get back to adding bracelets and accessorising a bit more too, before it's cold and my arms are hidden away for winter, haha!
DeleteAwesome looks, Mica! I love the bright orange pattern with the olive jeans - olive is such a good neutral for brights. Whoa, a mantis family in your house?? Your little one's going to be an entomologist, no doubt!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear the second outfit was a little chilly. You need to be packing a kimono in your bags for those chilly days.
It's raining here...again...sigh.
Yes a kimono or cardi is a great option, I should have added that!
DeleteAnd thankfully we have a covered outdoor area the mantids are living in - because we keep adding to the family! He is so obsessed with bugs, we went to an expo yesterday and one of the entomologists there said she was 8 when she decided that's what she wanted to do - he's 8! You should have seen his face light up!
I love this bag, it looks great :)
