What I wore:
Jumper: thrifted Valleygirl blue knit jumper
Dress: Jeanswest Sophia high-low maxi dress
Shoes: Atmos&Here tan Lola leather ankle boots
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Love cross body bag in grey
Why I wore it:
This cobalt knit is one of my favourites to pull out every winter! Thrifted back in 2015, it's always so fun to wear, and I was even wearing it in my previous post too! With 13 wears so far it's doing pretty well! Much too thin for colder climates, it's perfect for Brisbane winter.I like how the blue knit matches the blue in the print of the maxi dress! With bare legs and ankle boots, as I wore this out for a big family dinner at my parents and didn't have to be outside much - the high-low hem of the maxi dress kept my bare legs mostly covered and warm. The pink necklace doesn't match the shade of pink in the print exactly but seemed like a nice complimentary colour, and with the colourful dress, blue knit and pink necklace, the grey Rebecca Minkoff Love bag was a nice neutral choice.
Last worn: blue knit, pink tassel necklace, ruffle hem maxi dress, tan ankle boots, Rebecca Minkoff Love Bag.
Other ways to wear: blue knit and pencil skirt, ruffle hem maxi dress on Christmas, tan ankle boots and skinny jeans, Rebecca Minkoff Love Bag worn 30 ways.
Perfect for pregnancy: blue marle knit in first trimester, Rebecca Minkoff Love Bag in third trimester.
What's In My Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Love Bag
What I wore:
Knit: thrifted Spirit grey marle jumper
Dress: Kmart Tropicana sleeveless tiered maxi dress
Shoes: Asos Cleo leather boots in tan
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Love cross body bag in grey
Why I wore it:
Again, wearing my Rebecca Minkoff Love bag as a neutral against a bright maxi dress with a knotted jumper, but this time I picked this grey marle knit. It's a tunic length on me, with an uneven hem, so there was a lot of fabric to tie up! I decided to tie it more in the centre, and make it more of a feature than how I tied the first knit off to the side.Apart from one moment where this knit came unfurled just as we got to church, it stayed in place all day and I quite liked this different way of wearing it. I'm guessing I'll be wearing knits over spaghetti strap maxi dresses like this more next winter too!
Last worn: grey marle knit, navy tassel necklace, tiered maxi dress, tan boots, Rebecca Minkoff Love bag (above).
Other ways to wear: grey marle knit meeting a Highland Cow, tiered maxi dress in summer, tan boots and jeans, Rebecca Minkoff Love bag and short.
Perfect for pregnancy: Rebecca Minkoff Love bag in second trimester.

How You Can Wear It:
A pretty spaghetti strip maxi dress can easily be worn in cooler weather with a cosy knit on top! If you're petite or want to add some extra definition to the outfit, you can knot the knit at your waist. Experiment with different knots depending on the jumper - you can create different looks with different knots and knot placement.Linking up with Mutton Style, On Mondays We Link Up, Sunday Reflections, Trend Spin.
