What I wore:
Scarf: Stella McCartney heart print scarf
Earrings: Piper gold heart earrings
Dress: thrifted Kmart short sleeve godet skirt linen blend dress in fuchsia
Shoes: thrifted Adidas Superstar sneakers
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Chloe Marcie medium shoulder bag in nut
Why I wore it:
This was a bit of a busy day! While it was cold I decided to go bare legged as my mum and sister and I had a fun day out of shopping planned. Quickly realised when my son woke up though that he wasn't quite right, so it was a quick scrabble to find him a doctor and get him some medicine. Luckily there was a local doctor open with availability, and we could leave him to rest at home with hubby and his brother while we went out to shop. I didn't have anything planned to buy, was just looking forward to catching up with my mum and sister and having lunch, but it turned into a really productive shopping day and I started buying a few Christmas presents. We took much longer at the shops than expected, as we hadn't been planning to buy a lot, but it was nice having that time together, especially after the stressful morning. Some of the shops were very warm, so I was glad I'd gone bare legged, and I even took my denim jacket off not long after arriving at the shopping centre. The heart print scarf kept me cosy enough over the linen dress. It's not the first time I've layered this Kmart linen blend dress up for winter, and once again I stuck to that familiar outfit formula like I'd worn before, with the scarf and denim jacket. Instead of ankle boots like I wore previously, I went with my Adidas Superstar sneakers, such a comfortable shoe for all the walking we did.
Last worn: white denim jacket, heart studs, heart print scarf, pink linen dress, Adidas Superstar sneakers, Chloe Marcie bag.
Other ways to wear: white denim jacket and maxi skirt, heart print scarf and stripes, pink linen dress and kimono, Adidas Superstar sneakers and jeans, Chloe Marcie bag and blazer.

Chloe Marcie Hobo Bag: Review and Contents
What I wore:
Earrings: Kmart pink resin teardrop statement earrings
Jacket: Jeanswest Kitty denim biker jacketScarf: Louis Vuitton monogram shawl in bleu
Dress: Kmart Whsdch Red short sleeved tiered midi dress
Shoes: Adidas Stan Smith sneakers in white and navy
Bag: Chloe Marcie medium shoulder bag in nut
Why I wore it:
This was another fun day! I'm even wearing a couple of pieces that my mum bought for me on our day out shopping above. I just had to wear my new little resin earrings right away, I thought they went nicely with the coral pink Kmart tiered dress, even though they are a little hard to see because of my hair. I already have this tiered Kmart midi dress in fuchsia pink and in orange, but I loved this coral colour! As it was on sale Mum offered to get it for me along with the pink resin earrings, and another cute purple pair too.
The sneakers are a Kmart pair too, ones I hadn't worn in a while so they were due another wearing!
I layered the dress up a bit for a cold morning. I had the school run, a vet appointment for Cooper, and then in the afternoon I took advantage of having the day off to spend a couple hours at school watching the kids sports event. They did really well, very proud of them! It was such a warm day that I ended up taking the denim jacket off, although when we spent some time at the playground in the afternoon with my Mum I had pulled the jacket back on. It got cold quickly, even with this cosy wool blend Louis Vuitton scarf.
Last worn: moto denim jacket, blue Louis Vuitton shawl, Stan Smith sneakers, Chloe Marcie bag (above). First time I've worn the earrings and midi dress as they were a recent gift from my mum.
Other ways to wear: moto denim jacket in double denim outfit, blue Louis Vuitton shawl and denim jacket, Stan Smith sneakers and jeans, Chloe Marcie bag and blue dress.
How You Can Wear It:
Pink and blue are a great combination together - no matter what shade of blue and pink! You can add to a pink dress with a blue denim jacket, or even just a blue scarf to try out the colour combination.

I'm so glad you were able to find a local doctor that was open. What a relief! How wonderful that you had a productive shopping day and were able to find some Christmas presents. I always love shopping early, because then I don't have to worry about shopping for gifts when the malls are packed and everything is sold out. I love the scarves that you added onto these looks. So gorgeous!
ReplyDeletethe creation of beauty is art.
Yes I like to be a little more organised as early as possible so I don't have to stress in December! :)
DeletePink and blue forever! The subtle print on the scarf in the first outfit is really great with the colorblocked dress + jacket, and I really like the low-key print mix with the striped sneakers.
ReplyDeleteThese are both delightful combos of pink and blue, but my heart belongs to the second one, as I keep swooning over that tiered midi dress! xxx
ReplyDeleteI love these tiered midi dresses, I will be sad the day the style is discontinued, haha!
DeleteYou look beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteBoth outfits are very nice, but I like the first one more - especially the jacket :)

ReplyDeleteYou look so great in these two dresses, Mica:) Really suits you, and the colour combo is a winner as always. And I hope the kiddo is ok now. That's great though that your husband was able to watch him and that you had a productive shopping day. Girl....I am so jealous you got some Christmas shopping day already:D
ReplyDeleteYes we like to try organise things early!
DeleteSuper cute style! Very similar outfits but so different too. I am absolutely in love with this pink shade on you. And the bag is on point. Every time I see you rocking this Chloe bag I regret selling mine
ReplyDeleteI regretted selling the Marcie hobo bag I had often, this shoulder bag is much better for my lifestyle and I don't think I'll ever part with it!
DeleteI love the pattern and hue of that scarf. I have a silk one and it is oxblood and red combined and it’s one of my favourite accessories. It just can elevate an entire outfit. I hope you are having a lovely week.
