What I wore:
Necklace: thrifted gold large double circle necklace
Dress: thrifted Kmart short sleeve godet skirt linen blend dress in fuchsia
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star low in white
Bracelets: the usual plus Cora purpleheart and mother of pearl watch c/o JORD
Bag: Louis Vuitton MM damier azur Neverfull
Why I wore it:
Wore this quite some time ago, back before Christmas when we went to stay at Seaworld resort for the weekend. This was a comfortable and colourful outfit for the school run and the library and some errands with the little one in the morning. We headed straight down the coast after picking my eldest son up from school that afternoon. While this dress was comfortable for the drive it was probably not the best for a long car ride, the linen creased quite a lot!I loved the bright colour combination of the digital print kimono against the bold fuchsia dress though, it compliments the magenta in the print of the kimono nicely and pops with the orange in the print.
The Louis Vuitton damier azur Neverfull was perfect for toting everything around too, we had a swim before dinner once we got to the resort. You'll notice I changed my shoes too in the evening, I knew I'd need the extra support for walking around the theme park so swapped out my Converse I'd worn during the day in the afternoon for the New Balance as they are a bit more supportive.
Last worn: digital print kimono, fuchsia Kmart godet skirt dress, gold circle necklace, Converse, Louis Vuitton Neverfull.
Other ways to wear: digital print kimono and shorts, fuchsia Kmart godet skirt dress with lilac, Converse and printed jeans, Louis Vuitton Neverfull in the office.
Perfect for pregnancy: Converse Chucks and maternity shorts, Louis Vuitton Neverfull at 38 weeks.

30 Ways To Wear: Louis Vuitton Neverfull
What I wore:
Dress: Kmart short sleeve tiered jersey dress in Fuchsia
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star coast blue
Bag: Louis Vuitton MM damier azur Neverfull
Why I wore it:
The Converse stayed on all day on this day! We had a quick errand to run that morning as well as a fun picnic playdate in the park. Because it was a warm day I wanted something light and this tiered midi dress is perfect, so loose and comfortable. I liked the shoulder coverage too, as I sat around talking while the kids played in the playground. It was a really fun day! This lilac statement necklace was a fun combo with the fuchsia dress too - I've worn it with the first fuchsia dress above before so knew it would work just as well with this midi dress in the same shade. The blue Converse were a nice way to add a third colour to my outfit and again the Louis Vuitton Neverfull came in helpful for toting everything around. I had a big reusable Woolies tote for our picnic snacks and blanket too.

Other ways to wear: Kmart fuchsia tiered midi dress and gold clutch, blue Converse and shorts, Louis Vuitton damier azur neverfull worn 30 ways.

How You Can Wear It:
A bold bright pink dress is an easy instant outfit for summer. You can add a little more colour with a printed kimono like I have in the first outfit, or a beaded statement necklace like in the second outfit.

It is a great colour for summer! Lovely shade of pink :)
Deletevery cute dress, I'd wear it a lot, I am sure (I actually have a very similar dress, pretty much the same color and silhouette and I do wear it a lot) but it's your kimono from the first look that stolen all of my attention! It is just SO pretty! The colors, the flowers! perfect addition to any look in my eyes
ReplyDeleteI'll need to see how you wear yours on your blog to give me more ideas for how to wear this one! :)

ReplyDeleteThat longer dress is so very nice, I love tiered dresses! I wish it was summer here already!
ReplyDeleteI love the first outfit. The dress is really cool and the kimono looks great.

Can't beat a tiered maxi or midi dress for comfort and style! And as much as I love linen, the wrinkle factor irritates me - but that first dress looks so good on you!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week Mica!
xo,
Kellyann
I'm glad it's a linen blend so it doesn't wrinkle too much like pure linen but it is so pretty I do forgive the wrinkling it does, haha!
DeleteThis color is so great on you, Mica! I really like both dresses and I love that you paired them with Converse. Adorable!

Love, love, love the bright color! It makes me yearn for some tulips in spring. Seaworld sounds like so much fun for the whole family. We went once while on a trip to Disney and we all loved it. Have a great week ahead.

Yes the kids love it there - they like seeing all the animals and listening to all their rescue stories! :)
DeleteFuchsia is such a pretty color! I love it!
ReplyDeleteYou always make me look forward to the season, Mica! I love that first dress and the color really becomes you. I am trying to not spend much money on clothes this year and what I do want to add more is dresses!

Fuchsia pink is such a fab colour and it really suits you! I love the kimono too but have to admit to a weakness for them. I find it hard to resist buying them when I see them. The LV bag is very versatile and a great find.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week

I'm the same - can never resist the cute kimonos, I have so many but there's always room for one more!
DeleteLove both of your summery looks, Mica! Bright pink is such an uplifting color, and so pretty on you. Thanks for your hospitality, hosting the link for the past year, also. Hope you have a good week!
ReplyDeleteI'm really liking your light blue converse paired with the fuschia! I need to see if I try this color combination by shopping my closet! Both dresses are really pretty on you!
ReplyDeleteI love blue and pink together and these are great shades of the combination! I hope you can find some pieces in your wardrobe to recreate :)
DeleteHi
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I love this color it's one of my favorites, as for the model of the dress I like the second dress most, in fact you look very pretty with it! As for the bag, it is beautiful, I would also like to have one, but this model is very expensive here in Portugal!

I got this one years ago when it was a lot cheaper - Louis Vuitton have so many price increases! But it was worth the investment for me :)
DeleteTwo gorgeous fuchsia dresses, Mica! My favourite is the first one, which I've been swooning over since you first showed it on the blog. It looks fabulous on you, and it's just perfect with the digital print kimono! xxx
ReplyDeleteYour dress + sneakers game is as strong as ever, and the way you combine them with kimonos is really fun.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it's such a fashionable outfit combo right now as I need the supportive shoes for my knee injury!
DeleteMica, you just glow in these lovely shades of pink! I appreciate the pic of you at Seaworld, as I can see the fullness of the dress better - sorry to hear it wrinkled, but eh, that's life. Full of wrinkles, ha ha! :-P
ReplyDeleteLove your Converse with both looks, but I hear you on changing into comfier shoes! Have a good week!
So true about the wrinkles! It is a beautiful full skirt, I really love that dress!
DeleteYou look fantastic! I love your bag <3
ReplyDeleteGosh this pink has me dreaming of all things spring and summer! SO ready for some sunshine! You look gorgeous.

You are ALWAYS stylish. I do love linen but yes, it creases dreadfully. It is a beast to iron too.

I love both of these dresses. The first shorter fuchsia dress looks so lovely on you and that maxi dress fits you so well as well. Converse sneakers look great with that maxi dress. You cannot go wrong with a pink dress on a summer day. Have a nice day!:)

You look lovely in fuchsia! I really like the midi dress, but I love linen, too! I don't mind when linen wrinkles. I figure if someone has enough time to worry about my wrinkles, they really need something else to do! What fun adventures you are having this spring with your family!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the link up!

So true about the wrinkles! It's just such a pain when you spend so long ironing them out...haha!
DeleteEl primer outfit me encanto, saludos:D
