For today's Weekday Wear Link Up, another couple of loosely connected outfits - both are blue and yellow and feature kimonos, denim, Converse and blue bags.
What I wore:
Necklace: Kmart navy and gold beaded tassel necklace
Top: Jeanswest Maya gather back tank in chartreuse
Skirt: JayJays distressed denim mini skirt
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star coast blue
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Chloe periwinkle small Paraty
Why I wore it:
Wore this for a quiet day with the kids - our regular library run for more books, and a little time playing at the playground too. I was surprised to realise that I hadn't worn this yellow tank with this blue printed kimono before! Blue and yellow is a combination I enjoy wearing. It was a warm day so a tank and kimono was a good choice with the denim skirt.Added even more blue with the periwinkle blue Chloe Paraty bag and the blue Converse. None of the shades match but I find all shades of blue go with each other!
Last worn: blue printed kimono, mustard yellow tank, navy beaded necklace, distressed denim skirt, Converse, Chloe small Paraty bag.
Other ways to wear: blue printed kimono and pink shorts, mustard yellow tank and printed culottes, distressed denim skirt and leopard print tee, Converse and midi skirt, Chloe small Paraty bag.
Jacket: Jeanswest Eliza summer poncho in yellow floral
Necklace: thrifted blue statement beaded necklace
Top: Jeanswest Maji metallic tank in soft green and silver
Shorts: Jeanswest Trinity Bermuda denim shorts
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Edie regular shoulder bag in Luna blue
Last worn: blue printed kimono, mustard yellow tank, navy beaded necklace, distressed denim skirt, Converse, Chloe small Paraty bag.

My Blue Handbag Collection:
What I wore:
Necklace: thrifted blue statement beaded necklace
Top: Jeanswest Maji metallic tank in soft green and silver
Shorts: Jeanswest Trinity Bermuda denim shorts
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Edie regular shoulder bag in Luna blue
Why I wore it:
A very bright outfit! One of my friends remarked how bright I was looking - deliberately picked this to go surprise my kids at sports day at school. I figured they wouldn't miss me standing on the side lines in this yellow kimono! it added a nice burst of colour to this silver metallic tank too.Just like the outfit above I went with denim again - these Bermuda denim shorts are a staple every summer. Added more blue with the beaded statement necklace and the Rebecca Minkoff Edie shoulder bag. My Converse were a comfortable choice too although I did regret them a little - no problems with the school run or working from home, but when I made it to sports day the ground was still very very wet and muddy from the floods and I ended up squelching in a few puddles, ugh! Maybe gumboots would have been a better choice!
Last worn: yellow printed kimono, silver tank, blue beaded necklace, Bermuda denim shorts, black Converse, Rebecca Minkoff Edie shoulder bag.
Other ways to wear: yellow printed kimono and olive shorts, silver tank and denim skirt, Bermuda denim shorts worn 30 ways, black Converse and stripes, Rebecca Minkoff Edie shoulder bag and floral dress.
Perfect for pregnancy: Converse in second trimester.

You’re rocking this kimonos Mica! Perfect with denim. Great inspo, though at my age and weight I’d swap the mini skirt and shorts for plain old jeans!

You could definitely rock a mini skirt! :) I see short shorts and minis on people of all ages here, especially during heatwaves!
