Tee: thrifted Cotton on grey tunic tee
Jeans: Dannii Minogue denim high waist skinny jean in ecru
Shoes: thrifted Adidas Superstar sneakers
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Edie small crossbody bag in magenta
Why I wore it:
Wore this for a very busy day! I'd finally gotten organised enough to sign up for a stall to sell some things from my wardrobe at Glad Rags Markets. I figured the awesome sequins from The Haus of Queenie would be a real conversation starter with everyone, and the outfit had plenty of admirers! I did get so warm setting up the stall I took it off for a little while, and as I was crawling around on the floor chasing a screw for one of my clothes racks I realised white jeans were maybe not the best choice!I had a lot of tun though, and have booked a stall at a future market again! This little Rebecca Minkoff Edie bag was the perfect size for my essentials and a little bit of cash, although everyone that bought from me paid with card. My friend gave me a little payment reader chip for my phone that worked really well! I was pleased to see some of my accessories go so quickly, and I have a few ideas for changing up my stall next time.

What I wore:
Necklace: Roie Designs coral beaded tassel necklace
Tank: Sass and Bide "For Easy Reference" tank
Skirt: Target classic denim skirt in white
Shoes: thrifted Adidas Superstar sneakers
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Edie small crossbody bag in magenta
Why I wore it:
Again with the white denim! I have been wearing this skirt so much since I bought it this year, it's the staple I didn't know I needed. With the simple printed tank it was a bit too chilly for school drop off on an autumn morning, so I added this cute cocoon cardigan I picked up from the opshop recently. Never worn, I knew I had to have it, especially as it was just $1. It was nice and warm for the cooler morning, and comfortable for working from home before picking up the kids in the afternoon. I like how the neutral black, brown tank and white denim skirt let the little magenta Rebecca Minkoff Edie bag really pop.Last worn: brown printed tank, coral tassel necklace, white denim skirt, Adidas Superstar sneakers (above), Rebecca Minkoff Edie crossbody bag (above). First time I've worn the cardigan as it was a recent opshop find.
Other ways to wear: brown printed tank and maxi skirt, white denim skirt with navy, Adidas Superstar sneakers ad floral dress, Rebecca Minkoff Edie crossbody bag worn 30 ways.
I love white denim anytime of the year. It always looks fresh and crisp. Oh, i am so intrigued about the stall you got. Did you sell a lot? Was it your clothes or you were getting rid of some of your purse collection, or a bit of everything? Have a great weekend.

I admire the bravery it takes to wear white pants. I can't do it. Something always gets on them.
ReplyDeleteLove the white denim skirt. So going to need to add one to my closet.

Well done on your stall! That sounds like a lot of fun, and I'm sure you were eye-catching in your spangles! I LOVE both white denims - I think it's one of those classic things everyone needs in their wardrobe. That magenta bag pops so perfectly, Mica!
ReplyDeleteHoping you have had a lovely weekend, my friend!
very cute outfits! I agree: sequins are great for a busy yet fun day and definitely is a great conversation starter (also great if you need to meet with someone you don't exactly know). The white skirt looks wonderful I'd love to add it to my closet as well, I think it might work wonderfully for my needs as well. And wow, only 1$ for the cardi, I'd get it as well, the price makes it a must even if you are not going to wear it very often. Good basics with low price tag are hard to resist. Hope you'll have a great week, beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAww, I'm so happy it went well with setting up your stall and that you have another one booked - that's awesome! :) I bet that would be fun and of course be so helpful to sell some of your pretty pieces! I love that you wore that colorful cardigan, I always get so happy each time I see it on your blog - it is so bold and beautiful!
