Black, White and Grey Outfits With Pink Crossbody Bag

Adding a little pop of pink to neutral black, white and grey outfits with my Rebecca Minkoff iris pink mini 5-zip bag.

JacketThe Kindness Collective 'Vienna Awaits' floral print kimono
Necklace: Kmart pink multi-colour beaded necklace
Tee: Jeanswest 'Lucy' colour block tee in grey marle/rosebud
SkirtNobody Denim Piper vacation skirt in black distressed denim
Shoesslim navy and pink Havaianas
Bracelets: the usual
BagRebecca Minkoff Mini 5 zip in pink iris with gold hardware

Why I wore it:

Felt like I hadn't worn this pretty printed black and white cover up in a while, it was definitely overdue a wear! Kept the rest of my outfit neutral with the black Nobody denim skirt, and the grey tee, although the tee is a little deceptive. It's got a pink panel on the back, which although you can't see it in the photos, was visible through the sheer fabric on the back of the cover up. With that I added a pink beaded necklace and my little pink iris Rebecca Minkoff mini 5-zip bag too, for a little matchy-matchy pink even though the shades differ.

It was a very hot day, but we had a nice relaxing one, dropping my eldest off with his friends for a playdate, a trip to the library with the little one, and then catching up with friends in the afternoon before picking up my eldest from his playdate.

Last worn: black and white cover up, wooden bead necklace, grey tee, Nobody Denim skirt, Havaianas, Rebecca Minkoff mini 5 zip.

Other ways to wearblack and white cover up and maxi dress, grey tee knotted over a dress, Nobody Denim skirt and leopard print, Rebecca Minkoff mini 5 zip and jeans.

Perfect for pregnancygrey tee in second trimester.

Why I wore it:

Again with another black and white cover up! I like the black embellishment on this one, so paired it with the black printed shorts. I felt they hadn't been worn in a while either! They were perfect for a hot day as they are nice and light. It was a little busy with the school run, some errands, and working from home before school pick up in the afternoon and then a little last minute shopping for a present for a birthday party that weekend.

I wore another grey tee. I like the darker colour of this one, and although I did add a little pink to it as well with the blush and gold necklace, the pink mini 5-zip bag was the main touch of colour in this outfit.

Last worn: embellished cover up, grey tunic, gold and blush necklace, black printed shorts, sneakers, Rebecca Minkoff pink Iris mini 5-zip (above).

Other ways to wearembellished cover up and denim, grey tunic and green midi skirt, black printed shorts and cardiganRebecca Minkoff pink iris mini 5-zip and floral dress.

  7. I have just put two of my dusters/kimonos in the giveaway pile, as I find it so hard to style them with outerwear (I had a bad case of Velvet Rage today!). I should learn from you and these two black and white toppers - they look great! Love the pops of pink in both outfits, and it delights me that you can see pink through the back of the kimono in the first outfit - I love details like that!

    Happy almost weekend, Mica!

    1. Velvet rage is the worst! As pretty as dusters are I know they don't work for everyone, these are just such perfect layers for our tropical weather!
