What I wore:
Necklace: Uniquely Made with Love Sea Change necklace
Tee: Atmos&Here navy stripe v-neck tee
Jeans: thrifted ASOS petite green skinny jeans
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
Bag: Louis Vuitton Damier Ebene 30 speedy bandouliere
Why I wore it:
I really struggled with what to wear when I pulled this outfit together! We had a messy play morning booked in for the boys, and I had some older clothes for them to wear. For me it was a little harder as I didn't want to get anything dirty 😅Went with these green jeans as they are an opshop find and so not an expensive loss if they were ruined, this wool cardi that's already starting to look a little old and a striped tee to disguise any possible paint spills 😂 The Louis Vuitton speedy bandouliere is waterproof and easy to wipe clean so that was an obvious choice.
The boys had a fun time and although they were covered in the fake 'mud' I managed to keep my outfit clean! There was none of the paint there was last time that refused to wash out of their clothes.
Last worn: grey maxi cardigan, beaded necklace, navy stripe tee, green skinny jeans, Converse, Louis Vuitton speedy bandouliere.
Other ways to wear: grey maxi cardigan and maxi dress, navy stripe tee and flares, green skinny jeans and blue knit, Converse at disneyland, Louis Vuitton speedy bandouliere for international flight.
Perfect for pregnancy: navy stripe tee in third trimester, Converse in second trimester, Louis Vuitton speedy bandouliere in third trimester.
3 Must-Have Bags For Mums
What I wore:
Tee: thrifted navy stripe Coca-Cola logo tee
Jeans: Jeanswest blackberry super skinny jeans
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff small Darren messenger bag in peony
Why I wore it:
A nice quiet stay at home mum day with the boys. We headed to our fave park in the morning, grabbed some groceries and then my aunt and uncle came over later in the afternoon to check out our new place. My uncle helped setup part of my wardrobe room too, it's a work in progress and I will share a video when it's all done!Felt like it had been a while since I'd worn this striped tee, so got it out for another wear. With purple jeans for something different, and the blush pink Rebecca Minkoff Darren bag as I like pink and purple together. Easy outfit for a cooler day.
Last worn: black belted cardigan, stripe Coca Cola tee, purple skinny jeans, Converse (above), Rebecca Minkoff Darren messenger.
Other ways to wear: black belted cardigan and skater dress, stripe Coca Cola tee worn two ways, purple skinny jeans and kimono, Converse for international flight, Rebecca Minkoff Darren messenger and sundress.
Perfect for pregnancy: black belted cardigan and hidden baby bump, purple skinny jeans in the first trimester, Converse in third trimester.
I love all the colorful denim! Keeps things interesting when it gets cold! As always I love your handbags Mica!

yes, they are a fun alternative to blue jeans!
DeleteColourful jeans FTW:) And you seriously can't go wrong with striped tees IMO. You look great as always. And can't wait to see the wardrobe room!
ReplyDeleteHope you're all having a lovely week so far.
I'm looking forward to getting the room finished and sharing it! :)
DeleteYou know, I'd completely forgotten about all of the striped t-shirts hanging in my wardrobe until I saw this post haha! They're so ideal and versatile for any of the seasons :)

Haha, it's always funny trying to find something cute to wear but also something you don't mind ruining. I always have that issue when I go camping, I don't want to be in sweats or workout clothes the whole time so I have to figure out which clothes are okay to get gross or smell like fire
ReplyDeletehttps://www.closet-fashionista.com/
Oh I'd imagine camping would be a little more challenging than a messy play morning as more time to factor in, haha!
DeleteSounds like your kids are keeping things fun and busy for you (and sometimes messy!). It's fun to hear the thought process that goes into each item you select for your outfits!
ReplyDeleteOh, I never can resist green and therefore I really like your look with the green pants. Kudos to you that you managed to stay totally clean and also your second look is cool! Looking forward to the video :)

You are giving me green jean envy! I think you inspired me to get a pair a few years ago, but the fit was off after having my 2nd daughter so now I need to search for a new pair! I love seeing all the ways you wear colored denim!
ReplyDeleteHope you manage to find another pair! These were a lucky thrift find!
DeleteWith my capsule wardrobe in place I am much more conscious about not getting things dirty too - before that I didn't mind that much. With little kids that can make dressing a challenge!
ReplyDeletehaha yes, little kids make everything a little trickier!
DeleteBoth version are so cool. I love green on me so I am crazy about your pants from first picture dear. Have a lovely weekend xx

Green being my favourite colour, it is obvious that the first is my favourite outfit. The striped tee and long grey cardigan are perfect with your green jeans. But I love the blackberry coloured ones as well, they're such a gorgeous, rich shade! xxx
ReplyDeleteOooh! I love both of these outfits. Colorful jeans are so much fun. I especially love your green pair! I hope you're having a wonderful week. :)
ReplyDeleteYour colorful denim is so fun! Love both of these looks! So exciting that you are getting a wardrobe room! Can't wait to see it!
ReplyDeleteJill - Doused in Pink
I'm looking forward to completing it and sharing it!
DeleteI love your collection of colourful jeans, Mica! How annoying to have to plan NOT to get dirty! Glad there was no paint this time!
ReplyDeleteYa for being able to stay clean during mess play. Paint it so hard to get out of kids clothes. My daughter ruin one of her onesie with paint from daycare.

My boys are the same! Fun often means mess for kids, and it can;t all be cleaned up, haha!
DeleteI'm a huge fan of stripes that I always gravitate towards it whenever I go shopping. Of course that means I love the striped tees in your outfits here!

I love how you mixed it up with colour denim! A striped tee is indeed a classic and wearing it with coloured denim is a great way to spice it up.

I LOVE those green jeans!! Such a cute outfit. You are making me miss the cooler weather with all these looks!
ReplyDeleteI've seen these Coca Cola tee shirts, pjs and bathing suits around and they totally remind me of my time in high school. I had a tee shirt and shorts set branded with Coca Cola and wore it to death.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I had any clothing as a kid but I had a beach towel! :)
DeleteCongrats on your new home, Mica! It's so nice your uncle is helping you out with your wardrobe room. How cool that your kids get to play with fake mud. I don't know what that is but it sounds awesome and you're such a sweet mum to join in and still remain flawless. And yay to colorful denims for winter :D xx
ReplyDeleteIt's corn starch, water and coco powder! it smells delicious, haha!
DeleteThanks all for your lovely comments :)
