What I wore:
Necklace: Lovisa mixed texture beaded necklace
Dress: Shein navy flower print flowy dress (c/o)
Shoes: Marc by Marc Jacobs metallic mouse flats
Bag: Balenciaga first bag in 2006 Blue India
Why I wore it:
Wore this for my last official day in my old team before moving onto a new role! I'm so excited to start the new year off with a new job, even if I am just on the other side of the building from my old team.Despite the rain it was quite a warm day so this simple navy swing dress was perfect for the office and the commute. I kept the accessories simple with the gold spiral drop earrings, beaded necklace and gold mouse flats. I love a bit of matchy matchy! Thought that this teal-ish turquoise-y Balenciaga first bag would be a nice touch with the navy dress, I really liked this combination and I like that this bag seems a slightly different shade in different lights sometimes! it's hard to tell if it's more turquoise or teal!
Last worn: gold earrings, navy swing dress, beaded necklace, gold mouse flats, Balenciaga blue India first bag.
Other ways to wear: navy swing dress and sneakers, gold mouse flats worn 30 ways, Balenciaga blue India first bag and shorts.
Perfect for pregnancy: gold mouse flats in third trimester.
Balenciaga Bags Vs Rebecca Minkoff Bags:
What I wore:
Necklace: Tiffany & Co silver 5th Avenue notes heart pendant necklace
Dress: Kmart teal floral print midi dress
Shoes: Marc by Marc Jacobs silver tuxedo flats
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Regan Satchel Tote in moon
Why I wore it:
The same outfit formula as the one above, just a little changed around and an extra layer added. This time it's a teal floral dress and a navy bag. I've worn a different Rebecca Minkoff navy bag with this teal floral midi dress before, I like the colour combo. I thought this Rebecca Minkoff Regan satchel went so nicely with the dress, and with the grey blazer it made it a little more formal for the office.I'd planned to wear this outfit the week before but the wild weather changed my mind. While it was still raining on this day, it wasn't as bad (and I could actually take blog photos on the patio without the rain blowing in). The blazer wasn't needed for warmth as it was still quite humid even with all the rain.
Last worn: grey blazer, Tiffany heart necklace, teal floral midi dress, silver ballet flats, Rebecca Minkoff Regan tote.
Other ways to wear: grey blazer and a-line skirt, teal floral midi dress worn two ways, silver ballet flats and pencil skirt, Rebecca Minkoff Regan tote and skinny jeans.
Perfect for pregnancy: silver ballet flats in third trimester.

How You Can Wear It:
A floral dress is a fun and easy outfit for the office. It looks great worn on its own or you can make it a little more formal with a blazer on top too. Picking a handbag in a different shade of blue is a great way to accessorise too.Weekday Wear Linkup #59
