What I wore:
Necklace: Tiffany & Co silver 5th Avenue notes heart pendant necklace
Dress: Orange Sherbet Zoe tiered dress in geranium print pink
Shoes: thrifted Adidas Superstar sneakers
Bracelets: the usual plus Mimco gunmetal twisted bracelet stack
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff quilted jumbo Love bag in cobalt
Why I wore it:
I love pink and blue together, so a classic indigo wash denim jacket and cobalt Rebecca Minkoff jumbo love bag seemed like the perfect accessories to try out with this dress. I love the bright cobalt blue of the bag against the red and pink geranium print on the dress. And a classic denim jacket like this goes with everything! You can see 30 ways I've worn this denim jacket here. The Mimco bracelet stack was also a bargain find from Gladrags Markets, and I liked having a bracelet stack on each arm. Picked my comfortable Adidas Superstar sneakers to wear as we had a kids birthday party at an indoor play area to enjoy that morning.
Last worn: denim jacket, Tiffany necklace, Mimco bracelet stack, Orange Sherbet maxi dress, Adidas Superstar sneakers, Rebecca Minkoff jumbo Love bag.
Last worn: denim jacket, Tiffany necklace, Mimco bracelet stack, Orange Sherbet maxi dress, Adidas Superstar sneakers, Rebecca Minkoff jumbo Love bag.
Other ways to wear: denim jacket worn 30 ways, Orange Sherbet maxi dress with white jacket, Adidas Superstar sneakers and denim skirt, Rebecca Minkoff jumbo Love bag and jeans.
What I wore:
Necklace: adjustable coral flat bead necklace
Dress: Orange Sherbet Zoe tiered dress in geranium print pink
Shoes: RMK Chester black ankle boots
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff metallic silver mini MAC
Why I wore it:
This is actually the first time I wore this dress. It was a really cold morning, with the school run and then working from home, so the perfect opportunity to wear some of the new pieces I'd picked up at Gladrags Markets that weekend. I got this coral necklace for just $2! I like the colour with the floral print on the maxi dress, even if it isn't a perfect match to the red or pink. The leather jacket was a super cosy and super cheap buy from the markets too - beautifully preloved, it's so comfortable, and I was very grateful for it and the ankle boots on this chilly day. I had a slip on under the dress as well!Last worn: Witchery leather jacket, coral necklace, Orange Sherbet maxi dress (above), black ankle boots, Rebecca Minkoff silver mini MAC.
Other ways to wear: Witchery leather jacket and knit, black ankle boots worn 30 ways, Rebecca Minkoff silver mini MAC and band tee.
Perfect for pregnancy: black ankle boots in second trimester, Rebecca Minkoff mini MAC bag in second trimester.
Love the dress! Yes to adding leather jackets over it. So chic!

What a gorgeous dress Mica! I'm loving both outfits you created with it, my favourite being the first one with the denim jacket and cobalt quilted bag. Just delicious! xxx
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I love both outfits. They are both so stylish and so different! It's even hard to wrap your mind around the fact that it is actually the same dress featured. Definitely details matter most. I'd definitely go for a rocker second myself even though I do see myself rocking the first as well. You look adorable in both! I hope you had a wonderful time (and didn't free too much) on a market
ReplyDeleteIt is a cute dress.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely dress, Mica, and again, both awesome outfits. I love it with the cobalt blue, and the black leather jacket is fabulous! You chose well. Thank you for the sweet comment regarding your upgrading <3.
ReplyDeleteI really love this dress and it looks so fab on you, Mica! Loved how you styled it both ways, and that Witchery jacket is such a great score for sure!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the accessories, of course:D
Have a great weekend!
Wow, that's a stunning maxi dress. I love the vibrant colors of pink and warm orange together. I think the biker jacket brought a lot of edge to the feminine frock and the denim made it chic. I hope you had a great time at the kids' birthday party. Wishing you a splendid day ahead, lovely Mica!
