What I wore:
Necklace: blush pink and gold beaded tassel necklace
Tee: Spectrum basic v-neck tee in washed lilacSkirt: Ally Fashion blue border print floral maxi skirt
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star coast blue
Bracelets: the usual plus Cora purpleheart and mother of pearl watch c/o JORD
Bag: Chloe periwinkle small Paraty
Why I wore it:
When I was putting this tee away in my wardrobe I was trying to think of another way I could rewear it next time, as I want to hit 30 wears with it soon. I realised that despite loving the trio of purple, pink and blue together, surprisingly I hadn't yet worn this skirt with it! It seems like such an obvious combo so I was glad I could give these two pieces a wear together. The accessories seemed like a no brainer too, the blush necklace went nicely with the pastel pink in the floral print of the skirt, as did the periwinkle Chloe Paraty bag even though it's a slightly different shade of blue from the print. The Converse were another way to get more blue into my outfit!Had a stressful morning as I had to get a blood test and I don't like needles, but after that was over we went out to a little local event with the kids. It was a super hot day so we didn't stay long, just a couple of hours, but they enjoyed exploring somewhere new and we bought a few things at the market stalls. They had some second hand books for just $1, and the boys got some more of the Weirdo series they love so they were really happy. The Chloe small Paraty bag was a great one for the essentials, including our water bottles and a little reusable tote for our market purchases. It holds a lot despite the small size!
Last worn: lilac tee, blush tassel necklace, floral print maxi skirt, blue Converse, Chloe periwinkle Paraty bag.
Other ways to wear: lilac tee and shorts, floral print maxi skirt with navy, blue Converse and culottes, Chloe periwinkle Paraty bag and red skirt.
Perfect for pregnancy: lilac tee in second trimester.

Changing The Chloe Paraty Strap:
What I wore:
Tee: Cotton On The One Deep V tee in marle nep white body black
Skirt: Target navy side split maxi skirt
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star coast blue
Bracelets: the usual plus Cora purpleheart and mother of pearl watch c/o JORD
Bag: Chloe periwinkle small Paraty
Why I wore it:
This was a busy day! After the school run I had a doctor's appointment, and then I took the little one to the library. We decided not to go to the playground after as we usually would as it was far too warm mid-morning, so it was home to relax a little and have lunch before another appointment in the afternoon to get my tax done and then picking up my eldest from school. Not the most fun day, but at least we enjoyed the library in the morning.I wanted to try this white tee with this striped maxi skirt - the texture it has on it with the fabric looks like a really subtle print and it makes it easy to try print mixing with. I enjoyed the combination last time I wore it with a printed maxi skirt too!
With the casual Converse and Chloe Paraty bag I'm not entirely sure that the long heart charm necklace was the right choice with this, maybe a little dressy compared to everything else, but I hadn't thought about what necklace to wear in advance and when I saw this hanging up that morning I felt it deserved another wear.
Last worn: textured white tee, heart charm necklace, navy white stripe maxi skirt, blue Converse (above), Chloe small Paraty bag (above).
Other ways to wear: textured white tee and blazer, navy white stripe maxi skirt and mustard, blue Converse and striped dress, Chloe small Paraty bag and maxi dress.

How You Can Wear It:
Printed maxi skirts are spring staples, great for mum days. They work well with a v-neck tee for an easy casual outfit.

I never look at needles! When I was in high school, I wanted to go in the medical field and we had to have more shots than other students since we would be having interships in hospitals and I got used to getting them but never liked to look at it happening.
ReplyDeletewww.chezmireillefashiontravelmom.com
I definitely couldn't do that - too squeamish, haha!
DeleteYou rock this T, maxi skirt, sneakers combo like nobody's business! Love the combination of soft colors in that first outfit. All the pieces just work together beautifully.
ReplyDeleteThat bag is the perfect accessory to dress up almost every kind of look! Totally love it, espcially the color!
ReplyDeleteBoth outfits look very nice, Mica, I especially like the boho vibes of the first skirt!

Two great spring outfits-I wish we were heading into summer where I live, instead of winter! I love those blue Converse, they are so perfect with all of your casual maxi skirts. Also, the lilac color of your tee in the first outfit is such a beautiful color on you! Hope you have a good week, with zero stressful days!
ReplyDeleteI'm obsessed with that first maxi skirt! love the paisley pattern :)

You can't go wrong with maxi skirt and tees, and I particularly love the blue floral skirt worn with the washed lilac tee. I'm not surprised you're nearing 30 wears of that tee, as it's such a delicious and very versatile colour! xxx
ReplyDeleteIt is a great colour and I'm hoping I can hit 30 wears with it soon - it's on frequent repeat!
DeleteThe first look is so pretty. I love the combination of a purple t-shirt with the blue dress. The bag you wore is so pretty. Sometimes the 30 wears things influences what I wear too. I think of it sometimes and it gives me ideas to wear things in different ways. Styling items in different ways is something I always enjoyed, but the whole 30 wears thing makes me think more about it.
ReplyDeleteYes, nobody likes a blood test. I can relate:). Fortunately, it all went well. :)
I love your second blue styling as well. That's a lovely blue tee and it matches the striped maxi really well. I also like the necklace you wear. You look very pretty in these spring outfits.
Have a nice day Mica!
Yes it definitely gives me a lot of style inspiration when I realise I'm near 30 wears with something and start thinking harder about more ways I can wear it! :) Really helps me come up with more outfit ideas!
DeleteI LOVE the maxi skirt in the first outfit! It's such a pretty color of blue!

I have a navy and white striped maxi skirt just like yours and love pairing it with a v-neck tee for the summer. These are both fabulous outfits.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason I've convinced myself that V-neck doesn't suit me, so I've got only round neck tees. V-neck tee suits you all right.
ReplyDeleteThe blue maxi dress is so stylish! it looks lovely on you!
Thanks! I'm the opposite, prefer v-neck over round neck, haha!
DeleteThat bag is the perfect size! Love it!

I love the color palette of your first look - the purple, pink, blue combo looks great! Of course, your bag is fabulous with both looks. I hate needles and having my blood drawn too, and I hope the phlebotomist made it quick and painless. <3
ReplyDeleteI hope you are having a great week so far!

Good for you for getting bloodwork done! That's never fun. At least you looked very cute! :)
