What I wore:
Scarf: Louis Vuitton monogram shawl in bleu
Dress: black Jeanswest halterneck maxi dress
Shoes: Marc by Marc Jacobs silver tuxedo flats
Bag: Louis Vuitton MM damier azur neverfull
Why I wore it:
So excited for this day! I picked my simplest maxi dress, this plain thrifted black one, and we all kinda of matched in our outfits as we had our family photo shoot. We were supposed to have it at the start of the year but then the restrictions hit and it had to be rescheduled.Of course this being a halter neck maxi dress it was a little too cold to wear on its own so I added the denim jacket. The blue Louis Vuitton shawl was a bit too warm in the heat of the day but I was thankful for it in the shade and in the colder evening as we had a late afternoon photo session.
Last worn: denim biker jacket, Louis Vuitton monogram shawl, black maxi dress, silver ballet flats, Louis Vuitton damier azur neverfull.
Other ways to wear: denim biker jacket and floral dress, Louis Vuitton monogram shawl worn as a wrap, black maxi dress and kimono, silver ballet flats and pleated skirt, Louis Vuitton damier azur neverfull and sheath dress.
Perfect for pregnancy: black maxi dress in third trimester, silver ballet flats in second trimester, Louis Vuitton damier azur neverfull in third trimester.
Earrings: A Little Bit of North blue mandala earrings (giveaway prize, close up photo)
Necklace: navy and silver circle pendant tassel necklace
Knit: white vintage knit jumper from my mum's wardrobe
Dress: Kmart Tropicana sleeveless tiered maxi dress
Shoes: RMK Chester black ankle boots
Bag: Louis Vuitton MM damier azur neverfull
Last worn: white knit, statement earrings, navy tassel necklace, floral maxi dress, black ankle boots, Louis Vuitton damier azur neverfull (above).

Carried my Louis Vuitton damier azur neverfull bag to fit a few extra things in - water bottles and some snacks for the kids to keep their energy levels up. Not that they needed any of that after having a glass of complimentary fruit juice when we arrived 😂 Cooper appreciated the doggy snacks we brought though!
It was so fun to dress up and wear makeup again!

30 Outfit Ideas With Louis Vuitton Damier Azur Neverfull
What I wore:
Necklace: navy and silver circle pendant tassel necklace
Knit: white vintage knit jumper from my mum's wardrobe
Dress: Kmart Tropicana sleeveless tiered maxi dress
Shoes: RMK Chester black ankle boots
Bag: Louis Vuitton MM damier azur neverfull
Why I wore it:
This outfit was a little more dressed down than the one above, not as much makeup for starters! Still felt formal enough for a kid's birthday party. It was our first birthday party after restrictions and it was so good seeing the boys playing with all their friends. This white knit from my mum's wardrobe was actually pretty warm and standing in the back yard in the sun watching the kids on the trampoline I was glad it didn't have full length sleeves. Was just perfect again when it cooled off in the afternoon. And I surprisingly managed to keep the white jumper clean all day!Added a couple extra accessories with the statement earrings and tassel necklace. The Louis Vuitton damier azur neverfull bag was perfect for taking everything for myself and the boys without worrying about carrying a baby bag too.
Oh and if you've been following along, I completed no buy July again this year, so that's now 6 years I've been avoiding fashion spending in July! It can be tricky with all the sales in that month, but honestly this year we aren't going out much and I'm finding I'm uninspired to shop!
Last worn: white knit, statement earrings, navy tassel necklace, floral maxi dress, black ankle boots, Louis Vuitton damier azur neverfull (above).
Other ways to wear: white knit and pencil skirt, floral maxi dress in summer, black ankle boots worn 30 ways, Louis Vuitton damier azur neverfull worn 30 ways.
Perfect for pregnancy: black ankle boots in second trimester, Louis Vuitton damier azur neverfull at 38 weeks.
How You Can Wear It:
A maxi dress can work well on a warmer winter day with the addition of cosy layers. A knit jumper, scarf, or denim jacket can keep you warm and comfortable, and can easily be removed if the day heats up.

I'm sure your photos turned out beautiful! I love the blue pieces against the black,. I have a similar blue leather jacket I love to wear with black, too. It pops so beautifully! Your warmer Winter days are average Summer days here in Belgium and we're lucky to get 11-12 degrees in the daytime in Winter ;-) How exciting and fun to have a family photo shoot! And wearing matching outfits too! The dress you've chosen looks fabulous with the denim jacket worn on top. I've been wearing mine a lot, such wardrobe workhorses, aren't they? Your second outfit looks absolutely perfect for a kid's birthday party. I do love that cheerful floral maxi! Have a lovely week, and well done on once again completing No Buy July! xxx

The boys must've really had a good time:) So jealous you can wear a white knit...there's no way I can wear something like without spilling something in a second:P
ReplyDeleteStay safe:)
Haha yes I'm worried any time I wear white, with my clumsy self and the kids, probably not the best choice for a kid's birthday party but it stayed clean! :)
DeleteI just love that outfit with the blues, especially that blue jacket!

They were amazing photos, it was so hard picking just a few to buy! I loved them all!
DeleteThis bright floral maxi skirt is gorgeous on you, Mica! Your "no buy July" commitment for six years straight is impressive too! I have to admit that I am not motivated to shop much at all this summer, other than essentials for the house. With COVID cases up and restrictions tightening again, there really isn't anywhere to dress up and go!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a fabulous week!
