What I wore:
Necklace: Kmart navy and gold beaded tassel necklace
Dress: Kmart Tropicana sleeveless tiered maxi dress
Shoes: Acne pistol boots in "skin"
Bag: Louis Vuitton MM damier azur neverfull
Why I wore it:
Picked this maxi dress to wear for a family birthday dinner, but with the much cooler evening I knew I'd need an extra layer. I've worn my denim jacket with this maxi dress often, so I thought I'd try something a little different and picked this pretty crochet trim kimono instead. Being white I didn't have to worry about it clashing with the print at all.I added the Acne pistol ankle boots for a little extra warmth. I tend to stay away from heels now with the boys but I used to wear these all the time pre-babies, they are quite comfortable and I figured dinner was a good way to reintroduce them to my wardrobe - not too much walking at all, haha!
The Louis Vuitton neverfull is a much bigger bag than I needed for dinner but it worked so well with the white kimono I had to give it a wear :)
Last worn: crochet trim kimono, navy and gold tassel necklace, Kmart floral maxi dress, Acne Pistol boots, Louis Vuitton damier azur neverfull.
Other ways to wear: crochet trim kimono and denim shorts, Kmart floral maxi dress in winter, Acne Pistol boots and printed shorts, Louis Vuitton damier azur neverfull and jeans.
Perfect for pregnancy: Louis Vuitton damier azur neverfull in second trimester.
30 Ways To Wear: Louis Vuitton Neverfull Tote
What I wore:
Necklace: M initial silver pendant necklace
Dress: Jeanswest 'Sierra' embellished black maxi dress (on sale!)
Shoes: RMK Chester black ankle boots
Bag: Louis Vuitton MM damier azur neverfull
Why I wore it:
Since I liked the first outfit so much, I decided to wear something similar to church. I stuck with the Louis Vuitton neverfull tote as it was already filled from the day before and I usually carry a couple of books for the boys to read quietly during the service anyway. Perfect tote for that!I picked black ankle boots but they kind of blend into the black maxi dress a little! The necklace pick I was happier with - I am sometimes a little unsure what to pair with this dress as it has the embellished neckline, but the sparkly M initial necklace looked great.
It's not the first time I've worn this maxi dress with a kimono, but it is the first time I've paired this floral one with it. I liked the navy with the black, and the cosy kimono kept my shoulders warm in church.
Last worn: floral cocoon kimono, initial necklace, embellished black maxi dress, black ankle boots, Louis Vuitton neverfull tote (above).
Other ways to wear: floral cocoon kimono and jeans, embellished black maxi dress with belted cardigan, black ankle boots and printed shorts, Louis Vuitton neverfull tote worn 30 ways.
Perfect for pregnancy: floral cocoon kimono in third trimester, embellished black maxi dress at 39 weeks, black ankle boots in second trimester, Louis Vuitton neverfull tote in third trimester.

How You Can Wear It:
A maxi dress is not just a summer piece - it works well into autumn too with a few more layers! Ankle boots are an obvious choice to keep your feet cosy, and a light kimono can protect against some of the early morning or evening autumn chill in the air.FYI: If you're not following along on Instagram, we are currently having the time of our lives at Disneyland and I'm sharing a ton of pics in stories!

I think Brisbane's mild autumn days must be very similar to San Diego's mild Spring days! For once our seasons overlap! Definitely a great idea to get as much use out of that bag as you can! I know I would if I owned it!:)
