What I wore:
Scarf: Fashion Scarf Girl lush forest scarf
Top: Atmos&Here grey Arizona zip tee
Jeans: Sass & Bide The Winning Day Lovestate jeans in magenta
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff 2012 sky grey mini MAC bag
Why I wore it:
A colourful outfit for a bit of a sad day. Added all the colour to cheer myself up a bit, with my Sass and Bide magenta skinny jeans and purple cardigan. I really like pink and purple together so it won't be the first time I wear these pieces together! Plus the colours matched the pink and purple in the forest print of my scarf, even if the pink is a different shade. The blue Rebecca Minkoff mini MAC bag matched the colours in the scarf too and I thought the grey tee was a good neutral piece to add to all those colours!
On this day we got to see our dog off as she went home with her family. Originally we were only going to look after her a little while, but as Coronavirus took hold things got more complicated. Plans changed a few times, so with her being with us so long it was a little hard to say goodbye, but nice to see her going home.
Last worn: purple cardigan, forest print scarf, grey zip side tee, magenta Sass & Bide skinny jeans, Converse, Rebecca Minkoff sky grey mini MAC.
Other ways to wear: purple cardigan and maxi dress, forest print scarf with stripes, grey zip side tee and shorts, magenta Sass & Bide skinny jeans and navy, Converse for long haul flight, Rebecca Minkoff sky grey mini MAC in monochrome outfit.
Perfect for pregnancy: purple cardigan in second trimester, grey zip side tee and hidden baby bump, Converse in second trimester.
5 Ways To Wear Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC:
What I wore:
Scarf: Fashion Scarf Girl colourful print scarf in green
Tee: Atmos&Here charcoal grey v neck tee
Jeans: thrifted ASOS petite green skinny jeans
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff 2012 sky grey mini MAC bag
Why I wore it:
Again, matching the colours in a printed scarf to the colour of my jeans! The green skinny jeans work well with the green print in this scarf, and the blue Rebecca Minkoff mini MAC bag matched the blue bits nicely too! Kept the rest of my outfit a little more neutral with the black cardigan and grey long sleeve tee. I was thankful for this thicker black cardigan in the evening, as we had to again sit outside the hall for my son's sports class as there were too many people training in the venue for the COVID restrictions at the time. The cardigan and scarf kept me extra cosy on a very cold winter night!Last worn: black cardigan, green printed scarf, grey tee, green skinny jeans, Converse (above), Rebecca Minkoff sky grey mini MAC bag (above).
Other ways to wear: black cardigan and band tee, green printed scarf and dress, grey tee and shorts, green skinny jeans and yellow, Converse and maxi skirt, Rebecca Minkoff sky grey mini MAC bag and floral dress.
Perfect for pregnancy: black wrap cardigan and hidden second trimester bump, grey tee in third trimester, Converse in second trimester.
How You Can Wear It
A a colourful printed scarf can be so easy to wear if you match it to another colourful piece in our outfit, like I have here with the bright skinny jeans, and the cardigan in the first outfit. You can always add a neutral base like a grey tee too to balance out the colours.

I need a pair of bright green jeans, just like your, you rock it so well! wonderful outfits, I like both. But as for the first outfit your dog steels all of the attention: she looks like a female clone of my pup. I wish we could see them side by side
ReplyDeleteShe is a cute dog, it's a shame she isn't staying with us any more!

Such a great rule to wear something twice in the month you purchased it! Love the vibrant colors!
ReplyDeleteJill - Doused in Pink
I like your rule of wearing new purchases twice in that month - that's definitely something I need to try. More often that not, I get really excited about a purchase and then, when it actually gets delivered to me, I just let it it, unworn in my closet.
ReplyDeleteCourtney ~ Sartorial Sidelines
It's something I started after realising I had so many things unworn in my wardrobe with tags on, it's really worked for me!
DeleteYou have the best scarves and fun pops of color <3
ReplyDeleteGreen Fashionista
I love the scarf in that first outfit! And how the pink jeans bring out the color in it!
ReplyDeleteSo sad to see the doggy go, but at least you had fun while it lasted! Makes me wish I could see Layla, its been months. I guess I could text my cousin to see if he's back at work in the office and go get her, hah! (I don't like going to get her when he's home, especially now with the virus)

Yes it was so good to have that time with her until she went home! :)

DeleteArg, not again! the page keeps reloading on me and saying my comment was published, even though I don't see it anywhere. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteLove the outfits, great colours. Matching to a print in a scarf is exactly the same when you're wearing printed shoes (hint!). :)
Sorry to hear the dog you were caring for is leaving - I'm sure Cooper will miss him too!
Thank you so much for the linkup, I'll be joining you shortly.
Cooper is a rescue who was likely never socialised so doesn't really know how to get on with other dogs, haha! He tolerated her and she tolerated him but I think it was harder on the kids to say goodbye!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea: wear a new outfit twice in the month I bought it! I'm normally anxious to wear something new, but I've made several online purchases during the Covid stuff and one or two are still just hanging in my closet. I did buy two winter tops that were on a really good sale and they're packed away (hot summer here).
ReplyDeleteI can imagine how difficult it would be to send the furbaby home after you'd had him for awhile. I'm sure they appreciated you taking care of him.

DeleteHi Mica!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all so sad that you had to say goodbye to your dog :( But at least you were able to enjoy these days with this pretty one and you did a great job :)
Talking about the outfit I like when you add this kind of prints and the unexpected pop of color with the accessories, that's a great thing to do..... to play with accessories in order to add that interesting detail ;)

I imagine it was hard saying goodbye to that adorable dog. So nice you took care of it and how lovely it is going to be with a family that loves it.
ReplyDeleteWonderful styling. The outfits that you wore are very chic. The first outfit with the magenta jeans is wonderful. The scarf is very pretty and so is the RB bag. The second outfit with the green skinny jeans is fantastic. I always loved the combo of green and blue. How pretty is that scarf! Scarves are such a nice way to accessorize. I was just thinking how they can come in hand in the case we lose our face mask or something- they can even serve as a temporary face mask. Anyhow, I do like both of these outfits.
yes it was nice to spend time with her, and she is so happy with her family! :)
DeleteOh I love how you matched the scarves with the skinny jeans. And the second green look is especially fun. And now just cardigans? That is warm and probably not a good sign for the environment. And yes sad to say goodbye to her but she is back with her family which is good! Hmm do I see a puppy in your future?

I'd love to adopt another dog but our pup is a rescue who doesn't really know how to interact with other dogs much from not being socialised as a pup so it's hard to commit to a new dog! Luckily he go on okay with this lovely one :)
DeleteI love the idea of matching them to your jeans, it's a great way to coordinate your outfit and add a little bit of colour. So sorry you had to say goodbye to the dog! They become like family so quickly x
