What I wore:
Tee: Uniqlo Mickey Mouse 'Mickey Stands' short sleeve graphic tee
Jeans: Nobody Denim Siren skinny super high-rise jeans in power black denim (c/o)
Shoes: slim navy and pink Havaianas
Why I wore it:
It's crazy to think I first wore this tee a year ago when we were in Disneyland Paris, as part of our Europe trip. Seems like a lifetime ago now, especially with all the changes around the world and the travel restrictions. It was fun to wear this again, I did the cliche "get everyone Mickey tees to wear to Disneyland" thing and I wasn't sure how much wear it would get afterwards but I have worn it a handful of times. Much more than I expected. It's super soft and has such good memories attached. The floral kimono was needed in the cooler morning, as it was a bit of a dressier option than my usual dressing gown for staying warm! I did end up taking it off at lunchtime though.
Really liked how this outfit turned out - the high amount of stretch in these Nobody denim skinny jeans make them so comfortable to wear!
Last worn: floral kimono, Mickey Mouse tee, Nobody Denim skinny jeans, Havaianas.
Other ways to wear: floral kimono worn 30 ways, Mickey Mouse tee at Disneyland, Nobody Denim skinny jeans with denim jacket.
Perfect for pregnancy: floral kimono and shorts.
What Bag I'd Wear With These Outfits:
While I'm at home my bags are staying in my wardrobe, but if I was wearing these outfits outside the house I'd wear this bag with them. It's the perfect neutral. What I wore:
Jeans: Jeanswest Vicki skinny pant in moss green
Shoes: slim navy and pink Havaianas
Why I wore it:
Another pair of super comfortably jeans, I actually wore these on our long-haul flights from Brisbane to Europe last year - very comfortable for being at home. Again, it was nice to get out of the pyjamas and loungewear I've been wearing a lot lately while isolating at home with social distancing. This Kisschasy tee hasn't got a lot of wear - it was from one of their earlier tours, but after Jess had a challenge to wear band tees it got me going through my big box of tees from concerts I went to pre-kids and I found this. I realised this should come into my regular wardrobe, it's fun to wear. I like how the lighter blue went with these olive skinny jeans too! I've worn them a lot with navy in the past, it's nice to try a different shade.
Last worn: Kisschasy band tee, olive skinny jeans, Havaianas (above).
Other ways to wear: Kisschasy band tee and maxi skirt, olive skinny jeans in the office.

The band tee is so cute, I had to look at it awhile before I realized it was a cassette tape--haha! The little camera bag is darling. I know on traveling!

Oh my gosh, YES. I have to admit....graphic tees are my favourite fashion items. I love the ones you showed here! I also think adding the kimono over top really elevates the look. I need to remember this for future!!
ReplyDeletethe creation of beauty is art.
Comfortable and cute! I remember having a similar Mickey tee a lifetime ago, also in grey. This is the outfit of the two I love the most! xxx
ReplyDeleteI think it's such a classic graphic tee! :)

Both are such super cute outfits, Mica, and comfy to boot! Always a plus especially with the kiddos:) And I think it's such a cool idea to wear Mickey tees to Disney. Unfortunately, this thought never occurred to me when we went to Disneyworld in Florida...argh!
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a lovely Monday!
Good thing to remember for the next visit ;) haha!

I love both of these graphic tee looks! I just had to get rid of one of mine because it had a big hole in it (sob!) so I think I need to find one to replace it!
ReplyDeleteHope you can find a cute one to replace it!
DeleteBand tees are my favourite graphic tees, for sure - that's almost all that I own now (and I mostly sleep in them). Adding the kimono is just perfect.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are doing well, Mica! Stay safe, my dear.
Thank you for the link-up!
Enjoy your posts very much. My computer is in the shop currently (what a bad time for a breakdown!)so I cannot join the link up with a photo. Hopefully it it will be resuscitated by next week. Stay safe and well!
ReplyDeleteHope you got your computer fixed!
DeleteGraphic tees and jeans are such a foolproof outfit formula and both looks are really cute. I tend not wear jeans as much at home but softer options can be as comfortable as joggers. I just got a graphic tee with the words Go big, Stay home on it. I liked the slogan and the proceeds go towards charity.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a great tee! :)
DeleteI've definitely been keeping it casual lately—comfort first! ;)

I love the Mickey Mouse graphic tee, so cute and it's even better that it brings memories of a fun filled family trip! I love Disney. We've taken the kids twice, once Disneyland and once Disneyworld. I need more graphic tees in my life. I am putting it on my spring/summer wish list, inspired by you.

Cute tees :-D
ReplyDeleteGlad the restrictions have eased for you, in Scotland we are still on full lockdown. But England have eased things for their people!
I really love the way those Havianas look with both pairs of skinnies. I need to wear my simple thongs with skinnies more often. Isn't it funny how dressed-up that Micky T-shirt looks just with a pretty kimono over it? And I love the light blue band shirt with the olive pants. I don't mix up my top colors with my olive pants nearly enough. Thank you for the inspiration and for the linkup!

I love graphic T's because your personality can really shine. And picking skinnies for them is such a perfect choice. I actually have a couple that I bought from a Kansas City designer.

I really enjoy wearing a graphic tee in a bold color and print with jeans, makes me feel less frumpy. And with sitting on the desk all day, it is the only part of the outfit that gets seen anyway.
ReplyDeletehaha yes I had a blanket on my lap in my last zoom call with it being winter here - no-one could see how cosy I was!
DeleteIt's strange looking back and seeing all the freedoms we used to have isn't it? A few months ago we took it for granted that we could just meet a friend for coffee and now it's just over Zoom. Now we are trying to create a new routine and lifestyle in lockdown.
ReplyDeleteI really like your outfit, comfy but stylish :) xo
It has definitely changed the world! :)
DeleteBoth of these outfits are really cute. I like the look with the Mickey Mouse tee and a floral kimono. I also like the combo of dark green jeans and a light blue tee. That's a great colour combo. You look lovely in both outfits. Have a great week ahead.
ReplyDeleteAh you are moving in to skinny jeans season and we are moving out of it. Though not really looking forward to summer this year. It won't be normal and probably no beach. Both these looks are great. Love the Micky Mouse tee with the floral kimono!

ReplyDeleteWishing you well, my friend, and I hope your week is going well so far!

I really like how you paired that mickey shirt with the kimono, and I had no idea that the second shirt was a band shirt until you mentioned it, but it's really cute!

I love both outfits, but the first one is my favorite! It's such a cute pairing and one I never would have thought of!
ReplyDeleteI agree about comfy jeans being a good option for quarantine too. It's nice be feel put-together, but be comfy at the same time.

ReplyDeleteooomaye.com
Aw, I love your Mickey tee! It's wonderful when our outfits have such good memories attached. I'm going to give your Disneyland Paris post a read - I think I missed that one! And if a pair of jeans can be comfortable for that long of flight - then they have to be the comfiest jeans ever. It's awesome when you find a pair like that! It's surprising how uncomfortable most jeans can be.
ReplyDeleteI hope you all are keeping well, and have a wonderful weekend!
Yes they are super comfortable! I was so sad when the stores almost closed down earlier this year! glad they stayed open, the jeans are the best!
DeleteAw, I recognized your Kisschasy shirt immediately! :) I'm so glad it's still in your regular rotation! It looks great paired with olive pants.
ReplyDeleteIt really needs to be worn more! :)
DeleteThose tees are both the cutest! Especially the Mickey one - love how you styled it too. Thank you for the linkup and for stopping by, MICA. =)
