Skirts, Striped Tees and Mustard Crossbody Bag

Stripes and skirts outfits for the school holidays! Despite it being the Autumn school holidays here in Brisbane, it still feels very summer-like during the day, so these outfits were perfect. I'm thankful it's cooling off a little more in the mornings and afternoons though as Autumn weather starts to arrive.

What I wore:

stripe tee rust ruffle tiered mini skirt white converse mustard yellow bag | awayfromblue

Rebecca Minkoff micro Regan satchel in Harvest Gold with rust ruffle mini skirt | awayfromblue

Necklace: Kmart gold and navy beaded necklace
TeeAtmos&Here navy stripe v-neck tee
Skirt: thrifted no label rust ruffle tiered skirt
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in white
Bracelets: the usual
BagRebecca Minkoff micro Regan satchel in Harvest Gold

Why I wore it:

Not the first time I've worn a striped tee with this skirt, and definitely won't be the last! I really like the navy stripes with the rust colour of this skirt, such a good combination. I added the navy necklace for a little more navy too, and this mustard yellow Rebecca Minkoff micro Regan bag for something a little different. I thought the yellow would be nice with the rust and I really liked this! Casual Converse for the little bit of driving around I did do to take the kids to a school holiday program for the day, before working from home and picking them up in the afternoon.

Last worn: navy stripe tee, navy beaded necklace, rust ruffle skirt, white Converse, Rebecca Minkoff micro Regan bag.

Other ways to wearnavy stripe tee and maxi skirt, rust ruffle skirt and denim jacket, white Converse and pink dress, Rebecca Minkoff micro Regan bag worn 30 ways.

What's In My Rebecca Minkoff Micro Regan Bag:

What I wore:

striped coca-cola tee distressed denim mini skirt, black converse chucks, mustard yellow bag | awayfromblue

black denim skirt with Rebecca Minkoff micro Regan satchel in Harvest Gold | awayfromtheblue

Tee: thrifted navy stripe Coca-Cola logo tee
SkirtNobody Denim Piper vacation skirt in black distressed denim
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
Bracelets: the usual
BagRebecca Minkoff micro Regan satchel in Harvest Gold

Why I wore it:

Another very similar outfit! Like the rust ruffle skirt in the first outfit, I found this striped tee at the opshop. I've gotten a lot of wear from it over the years, it's become a firm favourite in my wardrobe! Not bad for $1! Wore it with my distressed denim skirt and again the little micro Regan bag. I had to work from home, but as the kids are up so early in the mornings I took them out to the playground first.  I had a big green reusable tote with their remote control cars and our water bottles, so the micro Regan just had my essentials in it. It's the perfect bag for that!

How You Can Wear It:

You can't go wrong pairing a striped tee with a basic block colour skirt like I have in these outfits!

    1. The chain opshops can be a bit more expensive but we have a lot of small local ones around that often have deals or sales on, and I've scored so many great things there!
