What I wore:
Earrings: Piper gold heart earrings
Jacket: Bubblegum denim jacketNecklace: Tiffany diamonds by the yard necklace
Tee: thrifted navy stripe Coca-Cola logo tee
Skirt: thrifted no label rust ruffle tiered skirt
Shoes: New Balance Coast women's running shoe in black
Bracelets: the usual plus Cora purpleheart and mother of pearl watch c/o JORD and Hermes Kelly double tour bracelet in rubis
Bag: Louis Vuitton MM damier azur neverfull
Why I wore it:
A while back one of my Tiffany bracelets broke, so I had to take it back to a store to get repaired. We decided to make a day of it and head out to Pac Fair again. They had some school holiday fun for the kids to enjoy: a little putt putt golf course through the shopping centre that kept them amused between us popping into shops. Not the most relaxing day trying to shop multiple places with the kids in tow, but certainly fun and they really enjoyed it. Especially the ice cream after lunch! The Louis Vuitton neverfull was just right for carrying all our water bottles and some snacks for the kids - and thankfully because it's mostly coated canvas, just got a bit of a clean and no ill effects when I forgot to tighten the lid on a water bottle. It started filling the bag up with water before I realised it was a bit wet!
Last worn: denim jacket, heart earrings, diamond necklace, Coca Cola tee, rust ruffle skirt, Hermes bracelet, New Balance sneakers, Louis Vuitton Neverfull.
Other ways to wear: denim jacket worn 30 ways, Coca Cola tee and shorts, rust ruffle skirt and band tee, Louis Vuitton Neverfull and maxi skirt.
Perfect for pregnancy: denim jacket in second trimester, Louis Vuitton Neverfull in third trimester.
Tee: The Collective Store Love Local tee in black
Skirt: Target navy side split maxi skirt
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star coast blue
Bracelets: the usual plus Cora purpleheart and mother of pearl watch c/o JORD
Bag: Louis Vuitton MM damier azur neverfull
Last worn: navy stripe maxi skirt, blue Converse, Louis Vuitton Neverfull (above). First time I've worn the tee as it's a recent addition to my wardrobe.
Other ways to wear: navy stripe maxi skirt with mustard yellow, blue Converse and shorts, Louis Vuitton Neverfull worn 30 ways.
Perfect for pregnancy: Louis Vuitton Neverfull at 38 weeks.

It was a warmer spring day but I thought I might be a little too cold with just a tee and skirt in the aircon of the shopping centre, so I layered my denim jacket on top of this. We couldn't help noticing that despite the warmer day though a lot of the stores seemed to still have the heating on. It was really warm in the individual stores. Probably didn't need the denim jacket after all. I did like how it looked with this outfit though, I've worn the denim jacket with this striped Coca Cola tee before. Such a cute pairing with this thrifted skirt too - both the tee and skirt are $1 each opshop finds!

Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM As A Baby Bag:
What I wore:
Tee: The Collective Store Love Local tee in black
Skirt: Target navy side split maxi skirt
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star coast blue
Bracelets: the usual plus Cora purpleheart and mother of pearl watch c/o JORD
Bag: Louis Vuitton MM damier azur neverfull
Why I wore it:
Another day of school holiday fun, this one a bit more tailored for the kids though! Took the boys for a haircut in the morning, and then a trip to a newly constructed park I'd wanted to check out for a while. It had a little bit of everything with slides, swings, climbing equipment, water play and a bike track. It was a hit and hard to get the kids to leave in the afternoon, but we had to get home and have dinner as we had evening sports to get to.Just had an easy outfit for the day, with the first wearing of this Love Local tee I got as a lucky door prize at an event I went to a while back. It's a bit oversized but easily fixed by knotting it. I liked the black with the navy striped maxi skirt and the longer oversized sleeves covered up my shoulders well to provide some sun coverage. The Louis Vuitton Neverfull was my bag of choice again, to fit all of our water bottles, snacks and essentials for our day out. It had dried out after the water bottle incident above which was a few days prior!
How You Can Wear It:
Stripes and skirts are a good alliterative combo! Tees and skirts are comfortable for running around with the kids all day, and longer maxi skirts work well for a trip to the playground.

Nice outfits. I like the bag.

The Neverfull Tote is a great mom on the go bag! Such a smart idea to have fun little events for the kids to take part in while shopping!

Kellyann
Yes it's great that there are so many activities on during the school holidays here!
Deletethat mustard skirt is my all time favorite color, I just bought a hoodie almost the same hue!!
ReplyDeleteLove that mustard colored skirt and it's such a perfect lengths on you! But both outfits are fabulous and I'm always a fan of stripes, so really like the maxi skirt as well!
ReplyDeletePerfect outfits for fun days spent with the kids! We finally got a chance to go for a fall family hike, it's gotten harder to do now that they are teenagers/young adult and it doesn't help that my husband now has to work on Sundays (his "weekend" is now on Friday and Saturday instead.)
PS: I've had trouble getting my photo up here with linky tools, in fact I've had this problem on other blogs using linky tools too, no idea why... but it does link over to the correct blog post.
Thanks for still linking despite the technical issues! I appreciate it :)
DeleteI love the second outfit. Glad you had two good days off.

EAch time you wear that striped skirts it reminds me that I should wear mine. I haven't tried it with a black graphic tee yet! Need to remember this combination.

Glad I could give you an idea of a new way to wear your skirt!
DeleteBeautiful outfit! Especially bag (its color) looks great and elegance. It matches the other clothes very well. Have a great new week to you.
ReplyDeleteI love graphic tees, they're so fun to style! The first skirt is really cute.

You can never go wrong with stripes, which I think lends quite a Summery vibe to your outfits. I particularly love the first outfit. The tiered skirt is looking cute combined with the Coca Cola striped tee, and surely nothing beats stripes + denim! Have a lovely week, Mica xxx
ReplyDeleteSo true, it's such a staple outfit formula!
DeleteThis is such a great look! I love the way you styled the skirt and the denim jacket. It’s great casual style that I just love. Hope your having a great week. It’s nice and cool here so great way to relax after a busy few weeks.

These are both perfect outfits for fun days on the go with your boys! The pieces in your first outfit look like they were made for each other-that orange skirt was the best thrift find! Hope you have a good week and thanks for the link up!
ReplyDeleteYes the skirt is such a lucky find, I love it!
DeleteThe Luis Vuitton bag, the mustard skirt, and the denim jacket are typical of Summer time. Really beautiful (1st photo). The 2nd outfit seems more elegant than the 1st one, isn't it? Have a nice week, Mica!
ReplyDeleteYes, although they are similar outfit formulas, it's two very different looks :)
DeleteLove that orange skirt.. so cute.
ReplyDeleteI realny like both outfits :) this bag is great
ReplyDeleteYour bag is so cute and goes with so much. I love that mustard color skirt!

The park sounds like fun! I love your coke teeshirt! Looks great with that skirt. I'm sure I've worn a similar outfit in the past but the stripy top had an owl instead.

What a darling, flirty short skirt. Great color, too. Seasonless!! Love it paired with the Coke graphic. And I like the way you knotted the tee in the maxi skirt look. I can never get my knots to stay.
ReplyDeleteA hair tie helps with that to hold it in place once you've knotted it! :)
DeleteLooks like you had a couple nice days. I'm trying to wrap my head around school holidays in September. (We don't get holidays in September here.)
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine not having spring holidays - although I guess they would be the autumn school holidays for you?
DeleteLooking fab as always:) Love that ruffle skirt (I need one!) and love how you knotted that oversized shirt. And yes...the Neverfull tote is such a great bag to carry coz it literally fits everything!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Mica, I love both your outfits!

I love these two looks! I think number two is my favourite as maxi skirts are so comfy and I always feel a little uncomfortable in shorter skirts :)
ReplyDeletemia // https://beautiful-inspiring-creative-life.com/
I'm just starting to embrace short skirts again now the boys are bigger and I spend less time sitting on the floor with them, haha! But maxi skirts are still a staple!
DeleteLOVE that ruffle skirt outfit! Such a fun skirt. Sounds like it was a fun day too! I always enjoy a game of putt putt golf.

I love the easy breezy vibes of these two outfits, Mica! The Coca Cola stripe top and your Love Local top are so cute! Your LV handbag is lovely too! I'm so glad it was ruined after the water spill. Sounds like you had a great time with the kiddies. I'm always on the go when I babysit my brother's 3 kids. When I give them back, I end up sleeping for a day or two to recuperate. Haha! Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeletehttp://lizzyslatest.com/
haha yeah I'm definitely a lot more tired now than I was pre-kids!
DeleteLove your style, Mica. especially mixing high end with thrift xx
ReplyDeleteLove the rust coloured ruffle skirt. Looks good on you. I like ruffle and tiered skirts but have stopped wearing these. The Louis Vuitton tote sure can carry a far bit of shopping, all the more for you to go out and get more stuff. As the saying goes, "shop till you drop!"
ReplyDeleteeste tipo de bolsos son mis favoritos para el dia a dia, van muy bien y cabe de todo, tus zapatillas son muy chulas
ReplyDeleteThe bag is nice, it can also hold a small purchase :-)
ReplyDeleteHello Mica, hope you're doing well!
ReplyDeleteLovely proposals with stripes, i liked both since they include this timeless print.... stripes are definitely my thing since I feel it makes you look stylish in a matter of seconds :)
I think my favorite one is the first with the Coca Cola retro tee, can't believe it was only $1! Nice purchase!
And that LV handbag seems like a timeless piece, actually I really like its name.... "never full" I imagine you can put everything there: from a light jacket, to snacks to things for your kids!
All the best and have a nice week!

Yes the bag fits so much! And I'm glad I scored that tee, it was such a great bargain!
DeleteLove both outfits. The first one looks like so much fun and of course I love the long skirt in the second one. Glad you could have some fun with your family.
ReplyDeleteIris
Easy peasy! Love both of your outfits and I am a huge fan of graphic tees. They make dressing easier but also on trend. I was looking through consignment to find the LV Neverfull in PM but it's almost like a needle in a haystack. Regret not buying it when it was available. I hope your week is off to a great start and happy Tuesday!

DeleteHello Micah
ReplyDeleteToday my attention goes to your bag, it's beautiful and it matches very well with both looks! I like mini skirts as much as maxi skirts, I don't even know which of the looks I like most!

ReplyDeleteBoth really cute outfits, Mica! I think it speaks to the quality of the bag that it actually filled with water and didn't leak!
ReplyDeleteWhat a smart idea to put a putt-putt course in a shopping mall.
yes it's a big shopping centre they always go all out for the school holidays with fun things for the kids that are good to entertain them! And yes it was good it didn't get damaged or leave a trail of water everywhere we went, haha!
