Corporate Style: Colourful With French Connection Printed Dresses and Scarves

After I finished doing the two instagram style challenges at once, I was looking forward to not dressing for a theme. I wanted to wear some of my office wear that I hadn't worn in a long time, my printed French Connection dresses. The weather was a little cooler, so I layered up and added some scarves.

What I wore:

turquoise pashmina printed FCUK sheath dress tweed blazer ankle boots

Rebecca Minkoff soft grey MAM MAB mini Bag with orange and turqouise
Scarf: Cotton On turquoise pashmina
DressFrench Connection 'Fast Rhonda' dress in black/caramel
ShoesAcne pistol boots in "skin"
Bracelets: the usual plus JORD black Fieldcrest wood watch (C/O)
BagRebecca Minkoff MAB mini in soft grey

Why I wore it:

I had decided in advance I wanted to wear this dress again, but as it's gotten a little cooler since then I had to add some layers. I thought that the print mixing with the dress and the blazer was a bit different, but looked okay, so I laid this out to wear the next day. As I woke up a little under the weather and I wanted to be cosy, at the last minute I added a scarf. Went with this plain one as I thought it was a nice colour with the orange in the dress, and I didn't want to add a third print to the mix.

I have three of these Cotton On pashminas. (Cotton On had them for $5 with any purchase for a while). I have a white one, a fuchsia pink one and this turquoise one. I can find the last time I wore the white one and the pink one, but not the last time I wore this one. I wonder if I really haven't worn it in the 3 years I've been blogging, or if I just tagged it incorrectly so I can't find it in my archives! No real reason why I haven't worn it more often, it's a great colour and being a nice basic scarf it will work with a lot of prints. I re-discovered it during my wardrobe detox, expect to see it again!

I've had this dress for years, even before the blog. It's been a year and a half since I last wore it though! It's definitely one of those office-only pieces in my wardrobe, and with it being so slim fitting I didn't get a chance to wear it during my pregnancy. I worried it showed off the developing baby bump in the first trimester, and by the second trimester, when I had stopped hiding the pregnancy at work, I couldn't even zip it up. It's good to be back wearing it again now, even if it does fit a little snugger around my belly than it did pre-baby ;)

Last worn: tweed blazer, French Connection sheath dress, orange wool jumperAcne Pistol boots, Rebecca Minkoff grey MAM bag. First time I've worn this scarf on the blog.

Other ways to wear: tweed blazer with printed top for travel, dark floral print dress in summerpistol boots with denim shorts, Rebecca Minkoff grey MAM with wrap dresses and a baby bump.

What I wore:

Orange Monochrome Outfit: Pashmina, wool jumper, printed dress nude heels

Rebecca Minkoff MAB mini MAM in soft grey
Jumper: vintage David Jones orange wool knit jumper from AWLQ vintage sale
DressFrench Connection 'Woodblock wonder' panache dress in white/geranium rose
Shoes: Wittner 'Lumen' heel in patent leather
Bracelets: the usual plus JORD black Fieldcrest wood watch (C/O)
BagRebecca Minkoff MAB mini in soft grey

Why I wore it:

This printed dress isn't as snug a fit as the one above, so I did get away with wearing it to the office in the first trimester, using the print to distract from the tiny little baby bump. I didn't wear this dress on my maternity leave either, I like this dress and it's definitely more forgiving than the one above, I could have fit into it earlier, but I'm happy to have it as an office-only piece as well.

Again, I had made up my mind that I wanted to wear this dress before I got sick. I was determined to still make it work though! I've worn this dress with a jumper over the top before, so thought that was the best way to go to keep my chest warm, instead of adding a coat and having to fiddle with lots of buttons. I added the scarf as yet another layer as I was beginning to lose my voice and wanted to keep my neck warm.

Beth pointed out on instagram that it was a very Queensland look - layered up on top but bare legs! I didn't think it was that cold in the morning to need to cover up my legs, but by the end of the day I was wishing I'd worn tights or pants. It was really chilly in the evening on the way home from work, as the stormy and wet weather started to set in.

Last worn: feather print pashmina, orange wool jumper, French Connection orange print dress, nude patent heels, Rebecca Minkoff MAM bag (above).

Other ways to wear: feather print pashmina with polka dot dress, wool jumper with skinny jeansorange print dress in summer, nude heels with a monochrome blue outfitgrey handbag with a neutral outfit in the third trimester.

Easter Lunch Outfits: Blue Printed Dresses and Bright Accessories - Rebecca Minkoff Bags

I'm still behind with blogging what I wore. Or as Ellen said when I previously pointed this out, I'm so organised that I'm prepared two weeks in advance, ha! So this is what I wore over the Easter long weekend. We ended up having two Easter lunches -  with my side of the family on Sunday, and with hubby's side of the family on Monday. I kept my outfit simple for both events and took the easy route with printed dresses, and of course they were both blue.

What I wore:

bohoo.com bodycon blue paisley print dress acne pistol boots bright yellow bag

Rebecca Minkoff Swing bag in canary yellow with blue paisley print dress
BootsAcne pistol boots in "skin"
BagRebecca Minkoff Swing bag in canary yellow (on sale in black or pink)

Why I wore it:

I wasn't quite sure what to wear for Easter lunch with my family and then I remembered I hadn't worn this dress in a while. Was the perfect time to wear it! Added the boots as it was a little chilly in the morning, although by lunch time it had warmed up enough that I didn't need them. Wearing another layer with my shapewear under this dress again makes it quite warm too.

Thought that the yellow bag would be a lovely choice with this dress, nice and cheerful for Easter. Had Church Online in the evening with my 'church family' as well. I am so lucky to get to work with a bunch of awesome people every week. Our leader has been away for a few week as his wife recently had a baby, but he managed to come along so it was good having everyone together again to celebrate Easter.

Last worn: Ray-ban Wayfarerpaisley print bodycon dress, Acne Pistol Boots, Rebecca Minkoff yellow Swing bag.

Other ways to wear: bodycon dress with studded accessories, Acne pistol boots with denim shorts, Rebecca Minkoff swing yellow bag with purple dress.

What I wore:

DressJeanswest 'Chantelle' crochet detail blue printed maxi dress
BeltAsos skinny pale pink belt
ShoesBalenciaga studded sandals in sorbet RGGH
BagRebecca Minkoff mini MAC with python embossed leather in aquamarine

Why I wore it:

I wore this dress for Easter last year as well! I was in the third trimester then with my baby belly. I wanted to wear it again for Easter this year, without the baby bump! Just wore it to visit hubby's family instead of mine, as I'd worn it for Easter with my family last year ;)

Decided to add some colour to this blue dress with accessories too, just like the dress I wore the day before (above). I thought my aquamarine mini MAC and my sorbet pink Balenciaga sandals looked nice, even though the hardware on the sandals is gold and it's silver on the bag.
I used to be very careful to only wear all silver or all gold things to match the hardware on the handbag I was using every day, until I got my first Chloe Paddington bag, with its silver zips and gold padlock. Since then I've gotten a lot more confident at mixing metals. When it comes down to it though I think shiny things always look good with other shiny things, no matter what colour or mix of colour they are, ha!

Last worn: wayfarers(see above), blue printed maxi dress, pastel pink beltBalenciaga studded sandalsRebecca Minkoff aquamarine mini MAC.

Other ways to wear: blue printed maxi dress with a clutch for EasterBalenciaga studded sandals with a chambray shift dressaquamarine bag with green tank.

Corporate Style: Colourful Office Wear with Mulberry Alexa Bag

After my awesome wardrobe detox session with a personal stylist, I've been looking at my wardrobe differently. It's given me some more outfit ideas for old favourites, and a reason to re-wear some pieces that haven't been worn in a while. It's definitely generated a lot of inspiration for me with my wardrobe! Below are two outfits where I tried different things for my office wear. Quite colourful too with the pinks and blues and my lilac Mulberry Alexa bag.

What I wore:

black shrug cardi asos pink satin tank french connection stripe pencil skirt office

Away From Blue Mulberry regular Alexa bag in foggy grey
CardiganJeanswest black cardi
NecklaceHouse of Harlow sunburst necklace in silver and grey
TankAsos satin singlet in pink
SkirtFrench Connection 'Abby' twisted skirt
Shoes: Wittner 'Bolla' black bow detail flats
Bracelets: the usual plus JORD black Fieldcrest wood watch (C/O)
BagMulberry regular Alexa bag in foggy grey

Why I wore it:

I had wanted to wear this pretty skirt to the office again, after last time I wore it when I was finding it tricky to wear casually outside of the office. Pencil skirts are not the most practical or comfortable choice for life at home with baby! Good for the office though. I wasn't sure what to wear it with when I saw the tank and remembered that when Maudie did my wardrobe detox, she loved this top. And I do too! I've always wanted to find more like it, but have never had any luck. It's something that's been on my wishlist for a while, I keep looking for similar pieces. So easy to dress up or dress down, it goes with everything. And even hides a second trimester baby bump!

Kept the outfit simple and comfortable with flats - the skirt is quite clingy so I wasn't comfortable adding heels into the mix. Good for a fairly meeting-free day in the office.

Last worn: black cardigan, pink satin singlet, French Connection stripe skirt, black flats, Mulberry Alexa bag.

Other ways to wear: black cardigan with a printed top, pink singlet hiding a second trimester baby bump in the office, striped skirt for second trimester office wearblack flats with a black maxi dress, foggy grey Mulberry Alexa with a black outfit.

What I wore:

Print and texture outfit acne pistol boots french connection paisley dress boucle jacket

Away From Blue Mulberry Alexa bag in regular size worn on arm
Necklace: custom Cooper charm by Silhoupette
DressFrench Connection blue Paisley print dress
BootsAcne pistol boots in "skin"
BagMulberry regular Alexa bag in foggy grey

Why I wore it:

This dress was something I was thinking about donating, but I wasn't completely sure. It was one of my first dress purchases specifically for the office, back when I had just started my current job. Lots of fond memories. During my wardrobe detox Maudie wasn't overly impressed with the dress on me, but we spoke about it for a while and now I have a few different ideas for how to wear it. I won't let it leave my wardrobe just yet, although it definitely will be leaving at some point.

Was a little on the fence with this outfit though! I wanted to wear my new jacket and I tried on a few ideas in front of the mirror the night before, wasn't sure about the textured jacket with the printed dress...maybe a little too busy. In the end I couldn't make up my mind and decided I should just give the combination a go. I always tend to think my first few autumn layering outfits look a little off, takes me a while to get back into the layering mindset after the hot and humid Brisbane summers! Fashion is all about fun anyway, and it doesn't really matter if the outfits work or don't work I still get a chance to try again the next day! :)

One thing I did notice fairly quickly is that this jacket is not as ideal for the office as I hoped it would be. It's got zipper details on the sleeves, which are cute, but the zipper pulls are not the best when typing at a keyboard! So much noise...had to take the jacket off while I was at my desk. Something I hadn't thought about when I bought it! I like the mix of gold and silver thread through it though. Hoping the weather continues to cool so I can wear it more often.

Last worn: Paisley print sheath dress, Acne Pistol boots, Mulberry Alexa (above). First time I've worn the boucle jacket.

Other ways to wear: blue paisley print dress with pink accessoriesMulberry foggy grey Alexa with lilac and grey outfit.

Casual Denim Shorts Outfits - Stay At Home Mum Style

While I am back at work, I still have some days to spend with baby T, so I am getting to enjoy the more casual stay at home mum style outfits a little longer. Despite it being autumn, it's still quite warm in Brisbane and shorts and a tee is a good go-to. One day I tried to dress that casual outfit combination up a little, and the other I just kept it easy and simple.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with reaching for the same thing every day, parent or not. Some days just getting out of pyjamas is something to be celebrated, no matter what you've pulled on. And some days you don't have the time, energy or reason to wear anything other than PJs. I just want to try new things now and then and break away from the fail-safe outfits, wear more of what I have in my wardrobe instead of reaching for the same things over and over. Thank you for following along with my little journey! Hopefully you find something interesting or relevant or inspiring, just as I do reading other blogs.

What I wore:

Blush Pink Boyfriend Blazer graphic tee shorts acne pistol boots LV Speedy B

Away From Blue Handbag Louis Vuitton Damier Ebene 30 speedy bandouliere
SunglassesRayban new Wayfarers
JacketJeanswest Nadine 3/4 Sleeve dusky pink blazer
Top: gifted Monsterthreads star print graphic tee
ShortsJeanswest denim cuff shorts
BootsAcne pistol boots in "skin"
BagLouis Vuitton Damier Ebene 30 speedy bandouliere (with Coach feather bag charm)

Why I wore it:

Another awesome Monster threads tee from my bestie! She got me one a couple years ago with a cute cat dog print on it. I actually got this tee for Christmas! I was doing a monthly style challenge on instagram in December so couldn't wear it right away, and then did another style challenge in January. This tee didn't fit any of the challenge prompts so I put it in my wardrobe to wear later...and it got lost in between all the other tees I have! I 'found' it again one day and knew I had to wear it. Isn't it cute?

This was a slightly more dressed up version of a comfortable casual jeans and tee outfit. I went out with DH and baby T to baby's favourite indoor playground. As it was a little cooler, I wanted to wear my blazer. And you have to wear socks to run around inside the ball pit and things, so closed in shoes were needed. I thought Pistol boots were a slightly more dressy option than Converse. I like wearing these shorts and boots together.

I have to say I really liked this outfit. I was a little unsure about the first two outfits with this new blazer, but I love it here. I wouldn't change a single thing about this outfit. I was really happy with how it turned out, and pleased at how quickly I could put my shoes on again after baby T had enough of playing and was ready for to go home for a nap - I just had to zip up my boots, no fiddling with laces!

Last worn: Ray-ban wayfarersblush pink blazer, denim shorts, Acne Pistol bootsLouis Vuitton Speedy bandouliere bag.

Other ways to wear: pastel pink blazer with a dress, wearing denim shorts in cooler weather, pistol boots with a dress.

What I wore:

Shoesblack slim Havaianas thongs
Bracelets: the usual plus JORD black Fieldcrest wood watch (C/O)
BagLouis Vuitton Damier Ebene 30 speedy bandouliere (with Coach feather bag charm)

Why I wore it:

In contrast to the outfit above, this is a plain and simple shorts and tee outfit. No modifications necessary. This is what I wore a few days after the outfit above, for my wardrobe detox with the personal stylist. I figured I'd need to wear something comfortable and easy to try clothes on with. As you can see I took it off and on a lot - got very creased. I wore the teething necklace just in case baby T got grouchy and needed to be kept amused as we sorted through my wardrobe. He ended up preferring the stylist's necklace over mine though, poor Maudie probably has some tiny teeth marks in her beautiful wooden statement necklace now!

This was good for running errands afterwards too - had to pop out to the post office to start my closet cleanout that I have on ebay. The majority of the things I have listed were things we decided just weren't doing any good for me any more during the detox. It was nice to get some more space in my wardrobe!

Simple Dresses for Evening and Daytime. Navy Print and Stripes

Although January is over, I still have a backlog of my #JaNEWary style challenge outfits to post. Sharing two more dresses I wore in January. One for an evening out, and the other for day time.

Here's what I wore to go out for dinner:
belted Zara printed tunic dress acne pistol boots dress for evening dinner outfit
Necklace: Nibbly Bits Wilma necklace in pale daffodil layered with vintage gold initial necklace
Dress: Zara printed bib front tunic dress
Belt: gold embellished belt (gifted from my grandparents)
ShoesAcne pistol boots in "skin"
Bracelets: the usual plus silver charm bracelet

It was a really rainy day and had cooled off for a bit when I wore this dress. I'd planned to wear it to dinner a while ago, luckily all I had to do was roll the sleeves down and change to ankle boots for a little extra warmth. As I mentioned on instagram, the last time I'd eaten at the restaurant I wore the same dress, and had a tiny little second trimester baby bump (that I was still hiding in blog photos). This time around, baby T was sitting in a high chair, kicking and chatting away as he ate a meal with us. It was so nice, and wonderful to see how much things have changed! This time last year everyone was excitedly feeling his kicks through my tummy, now everyone can easily see him kicking and jumping around as he picks food off our plates!

I wore this dress during the day as well, just with Converse instead of ankle boots as I quickly had to pop out for the groceries and wanted comfortable flats for that. The style challenge for the day was 'a bracelet you adore but rarely wear' so I wore my little sentimental charm bracelet. I don't wear it every day as I'm worried about damaging or loosing it, it's very special to me. Didn't take a clutch or bag out to dinner, just had everything I needed in the baby bag.

Last worn: printed dress, Acne pistol boots.

Here's what I wore to spend the day with my grandparents:
French Connection Stripe Summer Dress Louis Vuitton Speedy B damier ebene

Louis Vuitton Damier Ebene 30 speedy bandouliere with Coach feather bag charm
Necklace: Nibbly Bits Wilma necklace in pale daffodil
DressFrench Connection Melanie striped sleeveless dress
Shoesblack slim Havaianas thongs
Bracelets: the usual plus House of Harlow sunburst wrap bracelet in cobalt
BagLouis Vuitton Damier Ebene 30 speedy bandouliere (with Coach feather bag charm)

This dress is another one I wore back when I was hiding the baby bump! The skirt portion is really roomy. The style challenge for the day was 'wear your mood' and I wasn't sure what I was going to wear, but after a difficult night with baby T I was tired so just went with the simplest option - a dress! I spent the morning shopping with my grandparents and then dropped them off at a friend's place for dinner.

Last time I wore this dress (a year ago!) I commented that I hadn't worn it much and I either needed to wear it more or remove it from my wardrobe. I've been thinking about wearing it for a while, but have always passed it up. When I wore it again, I realised why it's worn so infrequently. It's cute, and perfect for summer, but it's also uncomfortable! The elasticated section inside just seems to rub me the wrong way near the end of the day. I thought last time I wore it it was because of the baby bump or having more sensitive skin when I was pregnant. When I got home in the evening I just couldn't wait to take it off. Definitely leaving my wardrobe, and leaving me wondering why I ever kept it so long....it looks nice on the hanger so it's survived multiple clear-out attempts.

Last worn: stripe dress, Havaianas, Louis Vuitton Speedy bandouliere.

Rainy Day Outfits and Alexander McQueen Skull Scarves

After a hot and sunny Christmas day, we had a few days of rain that brought the temperatures down, much colder than a normal summer, so I took the chance to layer up a little! Also got to wear my Christmas present, my new LV speedy bag!

As it's a new year, a new start, I've finally gotten around to doing a wardrobe inventory...pretty scary numbers! I'll post about it on Wednesday, and I thought I'd include a link up.  I figured I wouldn't be the only person wanting to streamline their wardrobe this year, so hopefully you can take a count of what you own and post about it this week for the link up on Wednesday. The numbers of what I own even surprised me! I'll share more in a couple of days.

Here's what I wore to visit family:
ScarfAlexander McQueen skull scarf in light blue
TeeSpectrum basic v-neck tee in grey marl
SkirtAsos colour block maxi skirt in red (on sale!)
ShoesMarc by Marc Jacobs studded mouse flats in grey
Bracelets: the usual plus gifted House of Harlow sunburst wrap bracelet in cobalt
Bag: gifted Louis Vuitton Damier Ebene 30 speedy bandouliere (with Coach feather bag charm)

We had a really relaxed Boxing Day, after a busy Christmas day. We didn't go anywhere, so I didn't get a blog pic, although I did share what I was wearing on instagram as part of the DAREcember style challenge. After a quiet day playing with all of baby's new toys, we ventured out the next day to visit family for some birthday celebrations, and this is what I wore. The rain had set in and brought the temperature down, so I layered up a little. Didn't expect to still be wearing scarves in the middle of summer! Was pleased for the cool change to let me wear them though.

This maxi skirt probably wasn't the best choice, as I was dodging puddles trying not to get the lighter pink section wet! It was a good excuse to use my new Louis Vuitton speedy bag that I got for Christmas though - the damier ebene is perfect in the rain. I got the bracelet for Christmas too, an outfit accessorised with new items that worked with the style challenge theme for the day.

Last worn: Alexander McQueen skull scarf, grey tee, Asos colour block maxi skirt, Marc by Marc Jacobs studded mouse flats. First time I've worn the bag.

Here's what I wore to spend time with a friend:
ScarfAlexander McQueen modal skull scarf in white/pink
TeeAtmos&Here grey Arizona zip tee (on sale!) with pink Supre singlet underneath
Shorts: Jeanswest denim cuff shorts
ShoesAcne pistol boots in "skin"
BagLouis Vuitton Damier Ebene 30 speedy bandouliere (with Coach feather bag charm)

Hubby invited one of his mates over for lunch and a bit of golf at the driving range. Baby T and I didn't go golfing, but it was nice to spend a little time with his friend. It was another wet and rainy day, so again I took advantage of the cooler temps to layer a bit. I decided to give this bright tank under a zipper detail tee thing a try that I'd talked about last time I wore this grey tee. Very similar to the last time I wore it, just with the different zipper placement and a scarf! Definitely want to try this again next time I wear it, think I've found the purpose for the zippers now ;) The top is still available at the iconic as well if you're thinking about cooler autumn temps already - it's on sale.

The humidity cranked up a bit in the afternoon, so shorts were a good choice. Hubby really liked this outfit too, he complimented me on coordinating the pink scarf and tank together! The style challenge for the day was 'on your head' and I was so jealous of the ladies who participated with a sun hat - I'd been hoping to do that and spend some time by the beach, but ended up just putting a messy bun 'on my head' instead as it was definitely not beach weather.

Last worn: Alexander McQueen pink skull scarf, grey tee, denim shorts, Acne Pistol boots, Louis Vuitton speedy B (see above).

Printed Jersey Mini Dresses and Owning One Item In Multiple Colours

I've shared a few times on the blog that when I really like something, I tend to buy multiples of it in different colours. I'm trying to really question my "need" for this, to reduce the size of my wardrobe. I wore two cute little jersey dresses a couple of days ago, with the goal of picking one to keep and one to remove from my wardrobe and add to the donate pile.

Here's what I wore to visit my parents:
French Connection Butterfly Print Mini Dress Brisbane Heatwave Spring Outfit
SunniesRayban new Wayfarers
DressFrench Connection butterfly jersey tie waist dress
Shoesblack slim Havaianas thongs
Bracelets: the usual plus enamel coated Marc By Marc Jacobs Katie bracelet

Brisbane was tipped to get over 40 degrees Celcius (104 Farenheit for my American readers), so I wanted to wear as little as possible. A bikini was out of the question though, haha! I picked this cute little printed dress as it's great in the heat. We all headed over to my parent's place for the day, to sit and soak up their air-conditioning and protect baby T from the worst of the high temperatures.

I did add a cute little bracelet to accessorise a bit, but it was really too hot to want to do anything to wear this dress differently! Didn't even take a bag - had all my stuff in the baby bag.

Last worn: Ray-Ban Wayfarerprinted jersey dress, Havaianas.

Here's what I wore to catch up with a friend:
French Connection Burgundy star print dress ankle boots Acne Pistol Spring Outfit
SunglassesRayban new Wayfarers
Necklacecustom Cooper charm by Silhoupette
DressFrench Connection star dancing jersey dress in red rust/almond
ShoesAcne pistol boots in "skin"

Wore this second dress simply too, just added my trusty pistol boots. I know that when the summer heat comes to stay, I won't be wearing them very much, so I'm getting all the wear out of them I can now in Spring! Simple outfit to go visit a friend for a chat with baby T.

I've worn this dress 9 times since I've been blogging, and the butterfly printed one 7 times. Not sure how long I've had them, although I do have an old picture of a night out in 2008 wearing one of them. They've both had a good run in my wardrobe, but as I'm trying to downsize, getting rid of things I have multiples of seems to be a good way to go.

I picked this burgundy star print dress to wear after the multi coloured printed one above, as I was certain that this would be the dress that would be leaving my wardrobe after looking at them both hanging up. However, after wearing this dress, I've decided to keep this one and donate the more colourful printed one above. I just love the burgundy colour of this dress too much!

What do you think? Would you have kept this burgundy star print dress as well, or do you think I should keep the more colourful printed one?

Last worn: Wayfarers (see above), star print dress, Acne Pistol boots.

The Thanksgiving holiday in the US brings a lot of Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales! I'm always updating the Sales and Discount page, but below are a few of the sales that have started already:

Dresses and Rebecca Minkoff Bags

Again, more dress outfits! I've been loving the simplicity of dresses lately, Just throw them on and go, minimal to no accessorising needed!

Here's what I wore to go out with my mother in law:
pink striped maxi dress studded sandals rebecca minkoff yellow swing bag
SunniesRayban new Wayfarers
NecklaceRoie Designs long freshwater pearl necklace with tassel
DressThree Dots stripe maxi dress
ShoesBalenciaga studded sandals in sorbet RGGH
BagRebecca Minkoff Swing bag in canary yellow

Had a very busy morning! Took the time to stop by the library with my mother in law for the little baby rhymes session. Baby T loves spending time with his grandparents and it's so good watching them play together. Also managed to get some Christmas shopping done, as well as getting some essentials for the house.

Decided to dress simply with a maxi dress - and picked this one as I haven't worn it in a while. It was last worn when I was in the second trimester, then the bump got too big to squeeze into it, hehe. I wasn't sure if the dress should stay in my wardrobe or go. It felt a little bit unforgiving with the leftover baby belly for me when I wore it.....but when I looked up how many times I've worn it on the blog and saw it was my first pregnancy outfit with the baby bump on display, I've decided to keep it a little longer, as it's such a special piece. I shouldn't be so self-conscious about the flabby belly, it gave me a beautiful baby!

Last worn: Ray-Ban Wayfarer, striped maxi dress, Balenciaga sandals, Rebecca Minkoff swing bag.

Here's what I wore to go get my hair cut:
Zara printed tunic dress RM mini MAC Acne Pistol boots spring outfit Queensland
SunglassesRayban new Wayfarers
Necklacecustom Cooper charm by Silhoupette
Dress: Zara printed bib front tunic dress
ShoesAcne pistol boots in "skin"
BagRebecca Minkoff mini MAC with python embossed leather in aquamarine

This dress is definitely not going anywhere! It's a keeper! I love this dress, and this outfit. I've worn the exact outfit before in cooler weather, just added a scarf and a slip underneath for a little extra warmth.

Wore this out for a trip to the hairdressers. My first haircut after baby! I managed to find a lovely local lady and mum who was happy for me to bring baby T along to my appointment. Was a bonus to find out that she had a little June baby too, we swapped stories on baby progress and how to handle different situations. Didn't go for a drastic change, as I've been loving my long hair, just a general tidy up. As you can see in this photo, my hair was starting to get really difficult to do anything with. Felt so good to set aside a little time for a trim!

Last worn: Wayferers (above), Zara printed dress, Acne Pistol boots, Rebecca Minkoff mini MAC.
