What I wore:
Necklace: personalised gold children's names charm necklace
Shirt: Anko Kmart button up batwing sleeve leopard print shirt
Skirt: Jeanswest zip detail ponte pencil skirt
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Polene numero neuf mini in textured mauve
Why I wore it:
I scored this shirt in my sister's wardrobe clear out and I love it! I like the batwing sleeves and it's perfect with this little black skirt for the office. With the black skirt and the black Converse, I added the lilac Polene Numero Neuf mini bag for a little extra colour.
This outfit was so good for a busy day in the office, but I was not as happy with it on the commute and the school run. The shirt is polyester and it's quite thick so while it was perfect in the office aircon it was really hot outside of it! Maybe something I wear a little less in the warmer months, as I love it too much to let it leave my wardrobe to go in the donation bag just yet. It will come in really useful when the heat in Brisbane finally lets up later in the year.
Last worn: charm necklace, black zip detail skirt, black Converse, Polene Numero Neuf mini bag. First time I've worn the leopard print shirt.

Jacket: Jeanswest grey jersey blazer
Necklace: thrifted purple wooden bead statement necklace
Cami: Kmart Anko leopard print cami
Jeans: Nobody Denim Siren skinny super high-rise jeans in power black denim (c/o)
Shoes: Adidas Superstar sneakers
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Balenciaga raisin purple 2009 giant silver G21 hardware work bag

Why I wore it:
I need a few more layers on this wetter summer day, it was quite cool after being cloudy and rainy most of the week. The shirt above would have been perfect for this kind of day! Instead I was wearing my cheetah print cami, with my Nobody Denim black skinny jeans and then the grey blazer on top for a little extra warmth and to cover up the spaghetti straps of the singlet in the office. It's not the first time I've worn this blazer and cami together before, I really like the combination.I felt this outfit needed a little more colour than the outfit above so I went with a darker purple bag, this Balenciaga work bag that I adore. It's huge but very lightweight and easily fits everything I need for a day in the office inside, with lots of room to spare. It doesn't match the lilac necklace at all, but I liked the two different shades of purple with all the neutrals in this outfit.
