Magnificent 8 In Pantone Colour Of The Year Peach Fuzz

For this quarter's Magnificent 8 collaboration post, we picked the theme of Peach Fuzz! It's the Pantone colour of the year for 2024. And like most of the colours from previous years, I have a couple of pieces already in my wardrobe that could allow me to embrace the trend without buying anything new.

What I wore:

Necklace: thrifted Equip gold and marble station necklace
Dress: thrifted peach and white floral print tiered sundress
Shoes: thrifted white leather All Star Converse sneakers
Bracelets: the usual
BagRebecca Minkoff chevron quilted small Love crossbody bag in pale coral

Why I wore it:

Wore this for a busy day with the school run, an appointment for my son, and working from home. While it was autumn, it was still pretty hot so I needed something light and quick to wear, this dress was perfect. It isn't completely matching the peach fuzz colour of the year, but it certainly has tones of that peach in the print.

And since I had the colour in mind for this post I went all out and paired the peach palm print dress with the small Rebecca Minkoff Love bag in peachy pale coral. I wouldn't have paired the dress and bag together without the prompt of this collaboration post, but I'm glad I did wear them together as I really liked the combination! Was great to give this thrifted dress another wear before the autumn weather really arrives in Brisbane too.

Last worn: tiered palm print dress, thrifted station necklace, Rebecca Minkoff small Love bag. First time I've worn the Converse as they are a recent opshop find.

Other ways to weartiered palm print dress and denim jacket, Rebecca Minkoff small Love bag and jeans.

What I wore:

Necklace: Ruby Olive Art series long striped pod necklace
Dress: Kmart short sleeve tiered frill mini dress in Papaya
Shoes: thrifted white leather All Star Converse sneakers
Bracelets: the usual
BagRebecca Minkoff chevron quilted small Love crossbody bag in pale coral

Why I wore it:

Wore this for weekend swim lessons and then an overdue catch up with my friend at her place. It was predicted to be cooler day than the one above, so I thought I'd wear ankle boots with this linen dress. The rain held off until later in the evening though so I went with the same leather Converse again.

And once more I wore the peach small Rebecca Minkoff Love bag. I liked the combination with the yellow. Again, it was this post that gave me the idea of pairing the dress and bag together, I'd never thought of wearing the two together before. But knowing I was going to feature this peach bag in the post as it so perfectly meets the theme, and seeing this dress in my wardrobe, I wanted to give them a try. Loved this combination also!

Last worn: tiered linen dress, Ruby Olive necklace, leather Converse (above), Rebecca Minkoff small love bag (above).

  1. Mica, both of these dresses are so darling on you! You are one of the few people who can really wear this color. So pretty. That bag really does look amazing with your peachy dresses. Well done, my friend!

  2. What a perfect color. I know you are going into fall as we have moved into spring. But that color is great for both seasons. And summer in-between. Love the padded bag, too. Our peach tree is laden with tiny fuzzy fruit. I am excited at the prospect of peach smoothies and cobbler. XO

  3. I did not know that peach fuzz was the color of the year. I seem to hear it once, and then it totally slips my mind.

  6. The peach bag is a perfect pairing with both dresses, Mica! The second dress does not look yellow to me at all, but tones in the same colour range will nearly always work together. It's funny to see peach come back 'round again - it has literally been decades since it was an "in" colour!

  7. You really suit this colour, Mica! I'm looking totally washed out if I'm wearing peach. Two gorgeous dresses, so I can't possibly choose a favourite! xxx
