Printed Tees, Dusters, Skinny Jeans and Converse

Warmer spring weather in Brisbane means I'm wearing more of my lighter layers more often, like both of these neutral duster cardigans. Wearing them with black skinny jeans, printed tees, colourful Rebecca Minkoff bags and Converse.

What I wore:

Jacket: Ripe longline grey cardigan
Earrings: Colette Sangria sunset disc stud tassel earrings
Necklace: layered silver necklaces
TeeSass and Bide 'New Day Rising' tee in orange leopard print
Jeans: Jeanswest black skinny jeans with zipper detail
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star in hot tea
Bracelets: the usual
BagRebecca Minkoff yellow mini 5 zip

Why I wore it:

Very colourful outfit for working from home, with the school run and a couple of errands in the afternoon. Jeans and a tee is a staple for me on working from home days, and I felt it had been a while since I wore this Sass and Bide neon orange leopard print tee so it was good to get it out again. The neon orange tee and the matching earrings added some colour to the grey cocoon duster cardigan and black skinny jeans, and then I added more colour with the little yellow Rebecca Minkoff mini 5-zip bag. I like the combination of yellow and orange together.

Had the comfortable Converse for a little bit of running around with the errands and the school run, and the neutral brown was a good choice for this outfit.

Last worn: grey cocoon cardigan, neon leopard tee, neon earrings, zip detail skinny jeans, brown Converse, yellow Rebecca Minkoff mini 5-zip.

Other ways to weargrey cocoon cardigan and skirt, neon leopard tee and shorts, zip detail skinny jeans and knit jumper, brown Converse and maxi skirt, yellow Rebecca Minkoff mini 5-zip and dress.

What I wore:

Jacket: thrifted TEMT long black duster cardigan (new purchase)
Necklace: silver knot necklace
Teethrifted navy stripe Coca-Cola logo tee
Jeans: thrifted Jeanswest faded black cropped butt lifter jeans
ShoesConverse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
BagRebecca Minkoff mini MAC redyed with Angelus hot pink leather paint

Why I wore it:

This outfit is a similar formula to the last one above, but a lot darker with the black duster, black skinny jeans, and matching black Converse. The printed Cocoa-Cola logo tee adds a little extra colour with the red logo print, but I still felt this outfit was a bit dull so I added this neon pink Rebecca Minkoff mini MAC I redyed myself. It was the perfect pop.

I needed something comfortable so that's why I went with jeans and a tee and Converse again. The boys sports club had an outdoor fundraising event in the evening, but during the day I went down to set up. I didn't need this duster during the day, it warmed up nicely, and I thought it would keep me warmer in the evening as well, although by 9pm I was wishing I'd picked something a bit cosier to wear! It was a good night though, and this was nice and comfortable for helping with the setup and practical for attending the event later in the evening - just a shame it wasn't a little warmer. Not bad for the first wear of this black duster I picked up at the opshop though.

Last worn: Coca-Cola logo tee, black skinny jeans, black Converse, redyed pink Rebecca Minkoff mini MAC. It's the first time I've worn the duster as it's a recent opshop find.

Other ways to wearCoca-Cola logo tee and shorts, black skinny jeans and trench coatblack Converse and dress, redyed pink Rebecca Minkoff mini MAC with florals.

Perfect for pregnancyConverse in second trimester.
