What I wore:
Necklace: Tiffany & Co silver 5th Avenue notes heart pendant necklace
Top: Forever New Clara cowl neck sleeveless top in teal
Skirt: Warehouse navy jacquard pencil skirt
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star low in black
Bracelets: the usual plus Mimco Slay to the rhythm bracelet in silver
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Edie regular shoulder bag in Luna blue
Why I wore it:
Felt like this lovely navy jacquard pencil skirt was overdue another wear! I used to wear pencil skirts most days to the office, but since embracing midi skirts lately my pencil skirts have been a little neglected. It was nice to get this out for another wear, and the black and navy works so well with the deep jewel green of this cowl neck tank. The tank was a Christmas present from my Mum and it's so perfect for the office, it got me a lot of compliments. I'll be wearing it more often!Kept the casual Converse despite the rest of the dressed up outfit as I need comfortable shoes for the commute and running up and down stairs between meeting rooms in the office with my knee injury. Added another shade of blue to this outfit with the Luna blue Rebecca Minkoff Edie bag, it always works well with navy.
Last worn: Mimco earrings, Tiffany necklace, jacquard pencil skirt, black Converse, Rebecca Minkoff Edie shoulder bag. First time I've worn the top as it was a Christmas present.
Other ways to wear: jacquard pencil skirt and blazer, black Converse and jeans, Rebecca Minkoff Edie shoulder bag and dress.
Perfect for pregnancy: jacquard pencil skirt in first trimester, Converse in second trimester.
Necklace: Kelly's Kloset rainbow layered necklace
Tank: Cle The Label Amelia tank in indigo
Skirt: Kmart breeze green broderie anglaise midi skirt
Shoes: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star coast blue
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Edie regular shoulder bag in Luna blue

Why I wore it:
Another green and blue outfit, this time in brighter shades. I really like this green broderie midi skirt, I wear it a lot over December as it seems so festive, but it gets worn now and then through the year as well. I paired it with this casual navy cotton tank, then worried it was a little too casual an outfit for the office as we had a colleague visiting. So I added the statement necklace to try dress this up a little, as it was much too hot for my usual go-to of a blazer. I love blazers for the office, but in the Brisbane summer heat and humidity, I really don't need another layer!
Once again I wore my Converse. They add another shade of blue to this outfit, and although they are different from the navy tank and the Luna blue Edie shoulder bag I like the different shades of blue together with the green broderie skirt.
