Work has been a little hectic this week - so Tuesday it was time to pull out a comfortable outfit! This tee is another one of my purchases from my DFO shopping trip on the weekend. As usual, I bought lots in Jeanswest, haha. Tried to take a photo to show off the colourblocking, as the back of this tee is pink. You can see a better pic on instagram.
Linking up with Three-fer Thursday, Spotlight linkup weekly today.
Last worn: pink skull scarf, jacquard pencil skirt, patent flats, Balenciaga sorbet city. First time I've worn the tee as it's a new purchase.
Here's what I wore to work today:
Jacket: Warehouse cropped zip detail jacket
Necklace: sterling silver monogram necklace C/O MyNameNecklace.com.au
Dress: Jeanswest 'Gisele' contrast lace dress (new purchase)
Belt: Kmart thin black glitter belt
Shoes: Wittner 'Mimi' heels in mushroom
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Balenciaga classic work in 2006 Rouille
I've shared a couple of times on the blog about the presentation group we have had in the office the past two months. Today was the final session where we had to present to the entire department and show them what we had learned. I was extremely nervous! Wore heels for a bit of a confidence boost, and a pretty dress. Was so pleased by everyone who turned up to support us, and all of the encouraging things people said afterwards. I know I have a lot further to go, but I've really improved my public speaking. Had a big slice of cake afterwards as a reward! :)
Last worn: Warehouse blazer, glitter belt, Wittner heels, Balenciaga work bag. First time I've worn the dress as it is a new purchase.
Thought I'd share with you that the Melbourne designed Kiargo and Funkita Form swimwear labels are having an end of season sale! Although it's been too cold to swim in the pool this month and I've just been using it as a photo backdrop, I'm hoping in September I'll be able to enjoy taking a dip now and then. No harm in stocking up on swimwear now while it's on sale ;) I really like the Mansfield bikini for classic pool-side glamour.
Love the McQueen scarf :) xx

Mica, you looked so good for your presentation! Woo Hoo! Love that lace dress and gorgeous jacket. You looked confident. HAHAHA A slice of cake makes anything better. I love your new tee. I think that's so cool how it's two-toned. I've never seen anything like that! I would've been buying in LOTS too! LOL

I used to be so scared of public speaking!! I completely understand your nervousness but see you did great (at least I can imagine how confident you were when presenting lol). I think what you wear can definitely influence once self confidence! A bit of a heel can't hurt anyone right? You look very elegant and pretty!!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Heels are my secret weapon when I present - that little extra burst of confidence! :)
DeleteLove the black brocade skirt! YOu have a very pretty collection of Balenciaga bags :)

Great pencil skirt and I love your pink bag. Think I need a pink bag in my wardrobe! x
ReplyDeleteMica I love all of your handbags! I think your jacquard pencil skirt is my favourite. Great how you added the pink scarf to go with your bag that day. Sometimes a scarf can make all the difference to bring it all together.
