Marc By Marc Jacobs Lil' Ukita Bag, Maternity Tanks and Maxi Skirts

My Marc by Marc Jacobs Ukita bag is always a fun bag to wear, and as I've shared before it's one that everyone seems to love as it's consistently one of the most clicked on items on my blog. I've worn it to the office and with shorts, it works with so many different outfits. I'm wearing it below with maxi skirts for easy third trimester style.

What I wore:

Away From Blue | Jeanswest Sol maternity jacquard blue print tank black maxi skirt red bag 3rd trimester

AwayFromTheBlue | Black Maxi skirt, MbMJ Lil' Ukita Bag
Necklace: thrifted pearl and heart charm long necklace
TankJeanswest Sol Maternity jacquard tank (non-maternity version)
SkirtJeanswest plain jersey black maxi skirt
Shoesslim gold Havaianas
BagMarc by Marc Jacobs Little Ukita bag in Rock Lobster

Why I wore it:

Wore this to go shopping and take toddler T to rhyme time at the local library. The lady running it was telling us a little more about it, it seems to just be a Queensland government thing. Hopefully other states have something similar. It's really fun, I've been taking toddler T since he was a baby whenever we can. It's free, and you get to sing and dance and learn nursery rhymes and songs. Now that toddler T's bigger, he even has his favourite songs and I love seeing his excitement when he hears them!

As I'd be sitting around on the floor with a toddler, I figured a maxi skirt was a good idea. I haven't actually worn this maternity tank with a maxi skirt yet, was a nice easy outfit.

Skirt: Target grey marle maxi skirt
Shoesslim gold Havaianas
BagMarc by Marc Jacobs Little Ukita bag in Rock Lobster

Why I wore it:

I picked a nice neutral outfit to wear to really make the 'rock lobster' colour of the Ukita bag pop. It looks great against black! Again, with a maxi skirt and maternity singlet combination.

Wore this to run errands in the morning and spend some time setting up the nursery for baby. The in-laws came over in the afternoon for dinner. The maxi skirt worked for all those scenarios. One of those items that will always be on my wardrobe must-haves list, pregnant or not!

  3. So the black, grey and red looks amazing together - as someone who wears a lot of black and grey I'm now thinking I need to add some red into that! Also, I really like how the red goes with the patterned blue top. I'd never have thought to match the two and it looks great! Hope the nursery set up is going well :)

  7. Dang I wish we had something like rhyme time here! Pen loves being around other kids, but doesn't get to do it as often as I wish she could. Actually, despite being in a rather large city, there's not a ton for toddlers to do around here. Looks like you are staying super comfy and functional these last few weeks. (:

Sounds like you've had a busy few days, hun! x x I don't know whether we get 'rhyme time' in the UK, but it sounds like such a lovely little thing, especially considering that it's totally free! Loving both your outfits as always - and I love how in the second to last photo, Cooper is giving us a proper pose! :D

  17. That is such a fun bag, I can see why its a favorite! I love that you take your little one to the library regularly. I love my local library, but typically I'm just running in and grabbing books on my way to pick up the kiddo. I'd love to go to story time there, but it's usually on weekdays when I'm working.
