What I wore:
Necklace: Tiffany & Co pink double heart tag pendant necklace
Dress: Jaase Celine autumn leaves mini dress
Shoes: slim gold Havaianas
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff MAB crossbody with studs in desert rose (Christmas present)
Why I wore it:
This is one of my favourite dresses! My sister got it for me last Christmas and I feel I don't wear it nearly often enough, so got it out again for a rare child free day with hubby. The kids spent the day at the in-laws and Hubby and I both had the day off.Spent a little time with my sister too, travelled down the coast to have dinner with her. This dress was perfect for the whole day. I like the relaxed fit in the the heat and humidity, a storm hit as we were having dinner.
While there isn't any pink in the leaf print of this dress, I really liked the desert rose pink against the navy and with the autumnal colours in the print. I was pleased the two looked so good together, as I was eager to wear my new bag for the first time. The bag was a Christmas present I'd spotted on a random browse of the Real Real when I picked up a couple of other bags late last year, and told hubby I was getting it for Christmas! Shipping to Australia from the Real Real can be quite expensive, but spread over the cost of a few bags, it was a lot better. Just meant a bit of a wait until I could unwrap the bag from under the Christmas tree and start enjoying it!
Last worn: Jaase Celine navy dress, Tiffany heart necklace, gold Havaianas. First time I've worn the bag as it was a Christmas present.
Other ways to wear: Jaase Celine navy dress and denim jacket.

Revealing the Rebecca Minkoff Studded MAB Crossbody Bag:
What I wore:
Necklace: Tiffany & Co pink double heart tag pendant necklace
Dress: Jeanswest 'Chelsea' printed dress
Shoes: slim gold Havaianas
Bracelets: the usual
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff MAB crossbody with studs in desert rose
Why I wore it:
This was another hot summer day, so again the day called for a nice simple dress! My sister and I had a couple of errands, a trip to the dentist, and a little browse in the opshop. I got a Lego set for the boys for $1 which was awesome! We had lunch together before I headed home as well.Again I really liked the navy print of this dress with the little pink MAB crossbody bag. Pink and blue just look so good together!
Just like the outfit above, the silver necklace matched the silver hardware on the bag, and then I went with gold Havaianas as it was much too hot to consider any other footwear.
Last worn: tile print dress, Tiffany heart necklace (above), gold Havaianas (above), Rebecca Minkoff desert rose MAB crossbody (above).
Other ways to wear: tile print dress and ankle boots.
Perfect for pregnancy: tile print dress in second trimester.

Both dresses are perfect for a summery day. I love the first dress as it's a bit on the dressy side and sounds like you had the perfect occasion to wear it. It's always nice to have a whole day without the kids to feel like adults. You new purse is perfect! Enjoy the week.

I know this is desert rose, but your new bag really reads more of a warm browny-tan to me. I love it - what a lovely bag - that front studded flap is stunning.
ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous in your dresses, Mica! This long-sleeved/short skirt dress style really suits you. Hooray for a kid-free day! Glad you and hubby got a day to yourselves to reconnect.

It is a great bag, but it seems different colours in different pics! I think it's lovely with all the blues in my wardrobe though :)
