Pink Floral Top, Check Pencil Skirt, Balenciaga City | Ruffle Dress, Hermes Twilly, Tan Flats

Here's what I wore to work on Monday:
Sunnies: pink leopard print sunglasses from Paddy's Markets in Sydney
Bracelets: the usual plus gifted Balenciaga classic pearly grey double tour bracelet
Top: Papyrus floral shirt and pink tank gifted from my grandma
SkirtAsos tailored checked workwear pencil skirt
ShoesRubi primo ballet flats in silver
BagBalenciaga RH classic city in 2010 sorbet

This is an outfit that seemed like a good idea at the time when I planned it the night before, but I didn't actually try it on until I wore it Monday. Although I like the pink and grey together, it's not a great shape. Maybe should have added a belt or tucked the top into the skirt. Had no time to do anything when I rushed out the door in the morning. Will know the next time.

Very busy at work with lots of meetings and trying to get all of my tasks for the week finished before I go off to Melbourne. Wanted to be comfortable so a nice bright dress seemed like a good choice to wear. Thought I'd be really colourful and pair the pink dress with my purple Balenciaga too. I liked the way it turned out, usually I stay away from wearing other colours with this dress but I like the pink and purple, what do you think?

1 day left before Melbourne - if you have any ideas for things for me to do or see while I'm there this week, please let me know :)

Wanted something easy to wear today for casual Friday. It looked a little grey, so I added a little bit of colour with my accessories. Should have worn a jacket or cardi though, was a little chilly coming home late after drinks. I'm too excited for the warmer weather ;)

As much as I enjoyed Sydney, it's so nice to be home again. Spent the day just relaxing and unpacking and tidying, so a really casual outfit today. Will probably get take-out tonight to be even lazier! Shame Cooper felt camera shy, his little face is just off the edge of the photo.

Hope you enjoyed the Sydney pictures over the last few days, I was trying to think of great places to take outfit pictures as we explored. Back to normal now with proper digital camera photos and computer created blog posts. Blogging from my phone was handy, but not as easy as doing it from a computer!

The jeans were last worn here, shoes here, and bag here. This is the first time I've worn the tee as it was a new purchase.

Hermes Twilly, Threadless tee, Jeanswest Sale Steals

Hope everyone had a great weekend :) The rain arrived last night bringing cooler temperatures and a very broken sleep as Cooper was a bit scared by how loud it was.
DH and I went out to the stores to catch the last of the sale items and to spend some gift cards! So today I was dressed for comfort, and something that meant I could easily try on clothes.

Here's what I wore today - jeans and a tee.

Tee: Threadless "Damn Scientists" tee (Thanks to Sheila over at Ephemera for inspiring me to wear one of my Threadless tees. She wears hers better!)
Jeans: Sass & Bide
Shoes: Asos
Bracelets: the usual plus Hermes twilly worn as a bracelet
Bag: Balenciaga 2010 sorbet RH city.

Little story behind the Hermes twilly:
1. it adds some colour to my outfit, and
2. it was a failed attempt at making a bow tie for Frivolous Friday over at the fashionoclast.
I was attempting to turn a necklace into a bow tie using the twilly but even the twilly was too much material to work with. The little tie on my wrist doesn't quite have the same effect!
If you have a bow tie you can still send in some pics of you rocking it to be included in the roundup, details are in the Frivolous Friday post and you just need to submit your pictures by Monday, 16th January.

Had a productive day shopping, here's what I picked up from Jeanswest thanks to a birthday voucher from Jeanswest and gift cards from my sister and her boyfriend.

Jeanswest Maria cami
Jeanswest Agnes tee (got this twice - in the tea tree green and the coconut and black pictured)
Also picked up a floral top, but I can't find it online so maybe it's sold out there.

Sunday evening was of course volunteering at Church Online: http://live.lifechurch.tv/.

Hope everyone had a great Sunday whatever it involved :)
