Awkward face in the photos due to feeling awkward as we tried to take photos between cars passing by this morning. Not a good look!
Wanted to wear my rouille work again today so thought this printed dress would look nice with it. The dress print is more yellow than orange, but I think it looked okay. What do you think?

I was inspired to wear my little red dress, jacket and boots today after seeing her post. I've had this dress a few years and wear it every winter. This is the first time I've worn it without jeans underneath. It just felt too short though. Maybe one for the donate pile. What do you think?

Another day where I just wanted to be warm and comfortable at work. I thought belting the jumper to give it a bit of shape was a good idea. I kept nice and warm all day too.

Need to find better photo spots than this though - it was sunny this morning but the photo still came out really dark. Plus as you can see by my concerned looks I worry every time someone passes the meeting room that they will come in and find me taking photos....

Today is a special day! If you've read my blog for a while or seen the image in my sidebar you'll know I support Oscar's Law. One year ago today, Debra legally rescued Oscar from a puppy farm. Today is Oscar's "gotcha" day, celebrating his first year of freedom. 

Before being rescued, Oscar was stuck in a cage in a puppy farm and used for breeding over and over. Now, he is able to run around on the grass, get love and attention from humans and get to play with other dogs. He can curl up in a blanket when it's cold and play with toys whenever he wants. He can be a dog. You can watch the video below to see how his life has changed. I recommend it, it's such a feel good video. Especially at the end.

Pet store puppies come from puppy mills. That cute little puppy in the window has parents stuck in cages. Don't buy animals from pet stores - buy from a reputable breeder or adopt. I want Oscar's Law so that every puppy farm dog can experience freedom and have the happy ending Oscar has.

No picture without my jacket today. The polo shirt I'm wearing has a big logo I didn't want to share. We were given this shirt while on a project at work and as we had an event this afternoon to celebrate it's success I thought I'd wear it today. Added some colour with my red Chloe paddington bag - and it was also a nice touch of maroon to celebrate the state of origin win last night.

DH, Cooper and I went to the jumble sale at the Animal Welfare League today. We really like being able to support the shelter that we adopted Cooper from, they make a difference in the lives of so many animals. :)

They had their jumble sale special on, fill a bag for $5. And they were big bags too! I don't usually have much luck op shopping (thrifting), but at the AWL op shop sales I always manage to find plenty. It was very easy to fill my bag and worth the very long trip after getting stuck in traffic.
I picked up a cute vintage dress and jumper from the Thrifty Kitten stall as well as my $5 bag of clothes.

I got all of the items below for just $12, very pleased!

I laid everything out to take a picture and Cooper thought I'd made a special bed for him to lie on, haha! He couldn't understand why I was laughing at him...

Really liked this casual jeans and a tee outfit today - didn't need anything fancy. I had my purple leopard print scarf on in the morning but took it off in the car as it wasn't needed. It was so warm and sunny today, really nice after the wet week. I was pleased with the bargains I got at the sale too, what do you think of my purchases?


I've worn the jeans before here and the mouse flats here. This is the first time I've worn the tee and bag.

Those of you who follow me on instagram or twitter would have already read, but we had to rush Cooper to the emergency vets last night. Luckily he is okay now, the vets were lovely and really helpful. 
The vet warned us that he would be sedated after the injections and probably feel sick, but apart from a short nap in the car home he spent the remainder of the night running around like a crazy dog. It was very funny to watch him running around and being so hyperactive after being so worried about him. Very good to see him back to normal so soon too.


I wouldn't normally have paired all this colour and print together, but after last night's stress worrying over Cooper I just threw on some of my favourite pieces I think it works okay. Would you have worn anything differently?

We had to move our computers at work today so I had to wear pants to crawl under desks deal with cables and plugs. I wouldn't usually wear skinnies to work, but with them being black and with everyone getting covered in dust and moving things around it was okay.

The top I'm wearing is actually one top designed to look like two! (I've worn something similar before here)  I think these tops are a great idea as whenever I've tried a tank over a shirt the buttons always stick out and make it look odd. I really like the pink with the floral too, it was a lovely gift.

Thank you to those who wrote lovely comments about my friend Nancy on yesterday's post. I feel so badly for her being in this situation.

Was cold today so I decided to wear leggings under my dress instead of tights. Remember leggings aren't pants! ;) I like how it's styled at asos with bare legs, will need to try that on a warmer day.

Thought the belt was a good idea this morning but reviewing the photos I'm not so sure, maybe I should have left the dress loose and un-belted. What do you think?
